Do you ever use mainstream social media?

Title. Although you obviously can't say something extremely obvious that all humans of all cultures and religions agreed on until teen white girls in the past 10 years, and the faggot flags on every fandom's subreddit reflects that, when I get fueled by Christ to remove my hatred, doing a tiny browse of MLP and Pokemon comments, if they're already opinions I know won't be negative (e.g a favorites thread), it can be a little nice. All healthy people have left social media because of its horrible mental effects, including me, and we have confirmation it's infested with bots to make mainstream opinions seem way more mainstream then they really are, so it doesn't give me testicular cancer like it used to. Definitely cancer for anything more than a quick glance though

Social media is only good for direct Creator-to-fan content exchanges. If you go in to social media looking for friends, trends, politics, and "a place to belong", then the aforementioned flaggots and assorted browns will bring you down. If you follow artists you enjoy, game devs, anime studios, and stuff like that then social media is really just a more robust RSS system.

X under an anonymous guise, mainly.
I used to use a non-ironic Facebook account long ago but my mental health was taking a toll. My mood improved a lot after I deleted it.
Peer pressure is too intense when you don't draw the line between your virtual and your actual self.

i used to have instagram because friends wouldn't stop bugging me about not being able to send me their humorous videos
but as it goes with mainstream media, i get hooked on it
when i read that some of the people i know spend around 10 hours average a day on the gram, i decided i won't stick around to risk it
all my bros have dicksword or telegram anyway so i didn't lose access to anyone

I used to, but I quit in 2020 when all the George Floyd/BLM lunacy rendered it a cesspit of shitflinging.

Why would I? I made my FB back during its craze, and I rarely used it. I even deleted it once because I didn't care.
The only reason I have it now was because many apps started to ask for a "link account" rather than allow me a normal user account, like many websites of old did.

My last post (last I checked or I remember) was around 2017.
