>>379647Uh,... the portal to equestria exists but,... even you... not gonna say it
>>379649Merry Christmas. Fuck, what does Islam celebrate this time of year? Gayboy thursday? "Dancing" boys or whatever they call it? Anyway, if you wanna go to Equestria you prolly already know the way, but theres nothing wrong with wanting a giant pony waifu (which Idk if you noticed but IMO the best pony-panty artist in the game is a giant pony enthusiast so... do with that
>>379650>what does Islam celebrate this time of yearNothing, if that's not already obvious? Everyone knows islam only has 2 holidays and they're definitely not near the end of the year
>>379651Mind you, Im honestly not dogging on Islam here. Islam has some beautiful traditions that Christianity (and Lord, Judaism) could stand to learn about. Feeding the hungry is my.favorite, but theres lots to choose from.
Butnyou're here, and I'm here, so lets have a conversation. Do you have any insight to.offer into why Islam doesnt celebrate things?
>>379652>Do you have any insight to.offer into why Islam doesnt celebrate things?Celebrating things such as halloween, christmas, etc is considered polytheism because you're celebrating a holiday of disbelievers
>Ibn ’umar (RAA) narrated that the nessenger of allah (ﷺ) said:>“He who imitates any people (in their actions) is considered to be one of them.” related by abu dawud and Ibn hibban graded it as sahih. >>379655On a superficial level, it is appreciable that it seems that the holiday is the focus of celebration, but allow me to suggest that the holiday and tradition is more of a background subtext, and what is actually.ritualistically practiced (deliberate terminology) is honoring one another. For example, I made the finest meal of my entire life yesterday, cuz I wanted my friends and family.to experience something special. Sometimes its less about the specifics, its more just about the environment you create.
>>379657I'm talking from an islamic point of view though, when i say "holiday" here i'm talking about things that are celebrated every same certain time of the year (idk if i even pronounced that sentence properly but you get what i'm trying to say)
>>379659I do get what you are saying, and I appreciate that you are taking the time. It can be hard to perceive or express good faith over an anonymous board, but I appreciatr your efforts.
The western view is that there is a spectrum of events throughout the year that in some way represents the yearly cycle of the person, whether male or female, and the holidays reflect that.
Also the life cycle, but thats more complicated
