At least one mod has resigned and the community is flipping out over this. I think a lot of people will be redpilled by O'Sullivan's Law if we play this correctly. This is NOT a call to brigade and should not be interpreted as such
>>270897 'nazi', 'national socialist', 'political', 'swastica' ect. Maybe even '4chan' I'm not sure though, but those seem high risk. black lives matter counter material have been shot. Protest, and riot might have something , but...
Somebody in the comments thread on this image suggested that since the source code is publicly available, I should make my own booru. While their thinking is obviously flawed, the source code being public was not known to me before today. If we could rebuild a better site from the ashes of that shitty one, we could give it the same vastly improved moderation treatment we've given mlpol over /mlp/. https://www.derpibooru.org/images/2366195
>>270928 A replacement for Derpibooru is needed if its being run by such cucks. I would donate to such a site. It would be great if all the content on Derpibooru was mirrored on this new site making the existing site pointless.
>>271073 I am thinking that a distributed system could work, the main site only stores metadata: image info, tags, comments, other non-image info. Other servers will then store the images, having the site split up like this means that if there is insufficient funding to maintain a live image server at least the metadata is still available.
>>271073 It's all the cloudflare shit. They do whatever they do costing you a pretty penny. It does work, but if cloud flare doesn't like what you do they'll push you off. They basically redirect you to the real server after checking you out. Instead doing inhouse work for serverside protections is technically cheaper, but also more risky (as in don't fuck up the protections, resetting everything can be done remotely, but...) The goal is cyber security. You can achieve far more fidelity than big corps can. Identifying trouble and dealing with it in a cost effective manner.
>>271077 This is very possible and has been done before. Infact in many places it is being done like that. (Due to the servers being physically right next to each other, but the point stands)
Another option is a cryptocurrency option. LBRY has content, lots and lots of really shitty stuff, it's a pain. The search function is awful. But all the data is distributed, and could work as a substitute.
I have some images pertaining to derpibooru's staff and their political bias.
This first image here is, site owner and admin, Teaspoon (also known as TSP) encouraging violence against people like Donald Trump and Nigel Farage. Calling not only for their throats to be slit but also milk shakes to be thrown with glass, acid, or cement in them.
Teaspoon quickly deleted his passionate call for violence but not before this screencap was made.
I uploaded >>271170 → (not my art, but whoever made it never bothered to upload it) to see how it would be received and the reception was overwhelmingly positive. It only stayed up around twenty minutes but it was already shaping to be something the community could gather around. Here are some pictures. Proof that messages can slip through censorship.
>>271220 Probably but I'd recommend against doing it right after, because obviously it's going to be recognized and reported much more quickly. A better method is to upload more edits or original work with the same message to maintain variety and make it look less like a trolling attempt.
>>271159 The images are stored in various places and also there are some archives of derpibooru. The images will not be lost, just not always directly accessible on a fast server. I do think the metadata is more important, you can reconstruct the image collection from various archives but when the metadata is gone, its gone.
>>271261 I don't think the leadership is going to do anything. The way forums work is that relevant discussion is curtailed to just a few threads, and a relatively tiny fraction of the userbase goes on the forums anyway. The most that could be done would be mobilizing the community to make the mods' jobs so hard that they complain to the admins "you change this or we quit."
>>271296 The website design is comparatively garbage. Why isn't a filter on by default? People aren't going to move over unless if it is at least close to DB in functionality.
I think the best way to both bring attention to this and pressure DB is to upload art that criticizes DB and the mouthpiecers. Doesn't have to be very good artistically but should be original rather than edits so Rule #1 isn't an excuse to remove like with >pic related. Just has to be funny or showing the Mane 6 realistically responding to the drama. A lot of people watch for new uploads so images get a lot more views and responses than forum posts anyway.
>>271296 Site is ugly, but functional and fast. No censorship like the rules about France. During this decade things went to fair to awful, and with the Avia law, nothing will remain on Derpi.
Pony fandom grown on Derpibooru, it was never meant to die there.
We need to keep on moving like we always did, like when we gave up 4chan to this place. Like we left ponibooru. Like we changed. We will move always, again as old places are dying since forever, destroying their own userbases.
And we will rise once again. Stronger. Always. Just remembering the good times we had on these places and meet more who will also had enough and follow.
>>271191 An hypocrite kind of one, I mean. All the staff are essentially psychopaths, and SJWs. Trying to know who exactly does what in this mess. Still go there to check the politics from time to time.
>>271576 >the normal civil wars a monarchy usually has What the fuck? Monarchy is a Centralized Government System, there are no "Civil wars". There are either rebellions that fail or revolutions that succeed. By the way, notice how butthurt they're getting over Cozy Glow getting sent to Tartarus for teaming up with two unrepentant monsters and trying to kill everyone, even if it was just because she thought the world's a cruel cynical place where friendship's just a tool used to get power. Now bring up Glimmer or Trixie and watch how fucking quickly they flip-flop. >"Snips and Snails are the real monsters for bringing a monster to Ponyville! Trixie can't be blamed for saying she could beat that monster if she had to!" >"Glimmer was just feeling stressed and that's why was justified when she broke time so many times in a single day that it gave Yellow Flash from the Flashpoint DC Movie a boner!"
>>271693 I find it interesting how some guy beating on your car with a sign is carefully differentiated from someone throwing bricks through a window. Yet if you oppose the protests, you're exactly the same as Hitler.
>>271768 Off-topic but I've checked, out of curiosity, the terms of service of Discord, and according to those, the content that you publish in that platform is free to be published / distributed by the company that owns the software.
>Any data, text, graphics, photographs and their selection and arrangement, and any other materials uploaded to the Service by you is “Your Content.” (...) >All of Your Content is your sole responsibility and the Company is not responsible for any material that you upload, post, or otherwise make available. By uploading, distributing, transmitting or otherwise using Your Content with the Service, you grant to us a perpetual, nonexclusive, transferable, royalty-free, sublicensable, and worldwide license to use, host, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, perform, and display Your Content in connection with operating and providing the Service.
Knowing this, I don't understant the reason why they post such sensitive information pertaining to their families, or political stances. I would never do that under these terms of service.
>>271806 the silver lining is that if the derptranies really spamm'd cp on rainbooru, that means that the derptrannies have it on their computers, and the feds are not going to very happy if they learn about it...
>>271972 Chans have had CP since the begining. It is better to give them a corner to do what they want rather than getting upset and saying they need to burn. At least on chans there is not profit. Both Fuckbook and Twatter profit from CP and have no intention of removing it.
>>271982 Don't be fucking stupid cunt, you know there are laws against hosting CP on any site in the west. That shit might fly in the land of the rising sun, but it's not gonna go down well literally anywhere else.
>>271972 At some point, you want to get a site or imageboard raided, pedos does that for you, some gets organized to use TOR and shit and flood any site with their collection of CP.
>>271982 No. Tolerance only leads to their approval. Give em the right to share image they will always want more, just like it's always been for this kind of fags. Tolerate gays. The trans are coming, the zoophiles are next, the trannies want to convert your kids, the pedos wants your kids then.
Only serve them bullets, or baseball bats on the face.
>>271985 this, and I'm certain the japanese actually abhors that kind of shit, it's not because you have a loud minority that's extremely "liberal" about thing it is all the country.
>>272334 Rainbooru is back and hopefully for good, so letting DB users know about it (even with something as unobtrusive as a link underneath your artwork) is advised. Also it's not hard at all to make art "downplaying" BLM or criticizing the usage of ponies as mouthpieces without breaking the listed rules, but I don't see much of that at all when I search for it. Either the people downvoting BLM shilling are really lazy or such original art is being removed, but I don't see much fuss over the latter taking place when that would be helpful ammunition in this fight.
At this point I'll try my hand at some simple drawings to counter the propaganda, though I still can't even get simple proportions and shapes right.
>>272363 too heavy, and would mean you keep a database of CP hashes or something, which means gathering CP to feed or train that AI: not a thing to do. You need 24/7 mods for different timezones. I'd apply but I'm hardly available, working all the time.
It appears this whole BLM thing got started based on a Minority vote among derpibooru's staff. they didn't even wait for everyone to say yes, no, abstain, or share their own thoughts on this. don't know about you but that's super shady. Also what kind of organized leadership is that anyway?
fork "philomena" and use a scraper to figure out what images and comments are getting shitcanned and reupload them to the forked server. Have the forked server pull images from derpi’s CDN otherwise using an iframe of something to embed the derpibooru page and intercept clicks to make sure the user doesn’t slip onto derpibooru by accident or out of laziness. *boom huah huh* now X-booru has the entire derpi catalog with massively reduced bandwidth costs and can host badthink. Anons who post badthink migrate to X-booru, and any users who want to see "unpermitted" content is free to do so. As a value-add, it could also link to archive.org copies or the like of DNP removed posts, but that would be far harder to code.
>>272566 I think that's a winning strategy in the short-term rather than making "Derpibooru 2.0." People are still unlikely to leave DB but they're unhappy about the censorship, so giving them a platform specifically for removed images is in high demand.
>>272567 They hate anons and know nor/mlp/eople tend to post as background ponies, so false flagging to strengthen their "/mlp/ is hateful and destructive" claims is unsurprising. They hate getting shown up when an anonymous poster is unusually erudite and calls them out for their BS.
>>273535 Still nopony call the faggots out. Anti-racist means anti-White. The labels "racist" and "nazi" are used only to refer to White people. In any case this is overt racism against White people promoted by the Jewish ADL and their BLM and antifa attack dogs, and it must stop.
>>273535 Someone should save Tiarawhy's stuff before either it get removed from a Derpibooru mod sperg out or they pull out on their own. Also, Make sure to save works that have Lufkreig, Franiska, and Kritzkreig too, and not just Aryane
Dunno who this degenerate is (probably Jewish) but he has his head on straight. Unless if this is an empty threat we might see a mass exodus of high-profile artists soon, either to Rainbooru or to a new site altogether. I'm guessing Tiarawhy will be joining them.
>>273554 I rate it a 10/10 To appeal to Jews in the same manner as X was appealing to Blacks, this gryphon has defused the muh feels argument, he's forcing the counterparty to take a neutral stance. I wouldnt be surprised if his post gets deleted/ignored/strawmanned
Remember to save all the images of the other Nazi ponies like Fransiska (represents Nazi science), lufkerig (Our little filly), bertha (represents the Kreigsmarime) and Kritzkreig (represents the Luffwaffen)
>>273563 easy solution, on the day of the great bake off well just give him a mock ovening and relocate him to a previously set up american indian style natural reserve with jewish pianos, dradels, a matzo supply, piles of coins for them to count and an internet connection.
https://boards.4channel.org/mlp/thread/35508710 Get in here you niggers, these silly fillies are talking about putting together an Aryanne art pack and donating the proceeds to a holocaust foundation to epicly own the libs. This cannot come to pass, for dignitas alone.
>>273618 Funnily enough people on DB are against it too, because it's just adding fuel to the fire and even a charity to a "good" cause will get cancelled if its too edgy: see the Healstream. Whether you like Aryanne or want to stop censorship that "art pack" is a bad idea regardless.
MSM is really dogpiling the story though. If I was Buttercup Dew I would be laughing from all the free publicity. Glad he's managed to remain anonymous and I wish him best of luck. He's going to be a lot better off than Woot, who will be quickly forgotten and known only as the guy who helped kill Derpibooru. NY Post: http://archive.is/KVBMa Mic: http://archive.is/0TxU2 Irish Times: http://archive.is/TvqDZ
Apparently Pearly Iridescence is Jewish, who'd a thunk it. There is a major attempt to derail and get anti-censorship threads locked, but by named accounts and anonymous posters (who are probably named accounts logged out).
Not sure if Iridescence is trans or part of the faggaloon platoon but with how many of these Jews that keep saying they are trans or gay I'm trying to wonder how the hell there even are Jews still around if they all keep cutting their privates off and sticking their dinger dongers in the wrong spots.
Plus isn't the whole idea to get people they hate to do this stuff to lower birthrates and spread general degeneracy? It's like a drug dealer taking krokadile while trying to deal it.
>>273643 Also this. Its window dressing to normalize the idea and present a false consensus and prominence, in order to increasingly popularize the idea. It's kind of like how jews are overwhelmingly involved in pornography production, while not actively indulging in porn, to increase degeneracy in white society.
>>273653 Alex Millican is the name on any emails you get from Derpibooru Ops, which is the email that only TSP can access, so we can reasonably assume his name is Alex Millican.
I'm not sure how much more legit it'd need to look. It's the response to the email I sent directly to Cancer Research UK.
All I know is that it seems really odd that there's never been any numbers on that. You need to go on Derpibooru's patreon to see who they donate to, not on the site, which is sorta close to concealing information because you have to go offsite to find out that your money, if it's excess every month for donating to Derpi, goes to cancer research which just doesn't seem right.
Why should you need to go offsite to find this information?
What about bitcoin donations you can make to Derpibooru? Do those get factored into the monthly stuff?
Obviously Patreon isn't going to say anything or do anything because they have no idea where this money ends up after going into the bank account associated with it which, understandably, only Alex would have access to.
