Well that episode was kinda good, I guess. Good enough to save the whole kinda-shit season? Nope. Is it YET ANOTHER writing problem this show now has in common with BBC's Sherlock, the whole "Things might get good eventually" thing and the "turned out the villain set it all up, the villain's back, because we both know the show couldn't survive without this villain" thing? Eeyup.

This was the show's chance. The show's big seventh-episode twist. And it wasn't really creative at all. It was cliche, generic, the plot we've all seen before, just with a little more violence and a lot more edgelord nihilism. The only decent part in the whole episode was the predictable but still funny "Turns out the biscuit-making Rick was turned into a flavor mare" plot.
