What do you know about the Jewish influence in Modernist architecture? When did it start? What keeps it going?

We can post these red-pills on Jon's tweet. Like he said, "strike while the irons hot".

As a friend once once told me. Every new building these days are "Big glass facades". No matter what they are building, the mantra of getting big glass facade is always there. There is no beauty in new buildings anymore.
A good example is the extension to the Foreign department (probably build in the 60s) to an beautiful building

If I had to describe it completely in only a few words.
It actively clashes with nature only for the sake of doing so, while also being entirely soulless.

It's architects looking at sci-fi movies depicting cold, emotionless dystopian nightmares and thinking "yeah, that looks pretty neat!"

>older architecture is better cuz they don’t use lots of glass
as though they wouldn’t have incorporated glass in place of other materials If they had the technology
You do realize that period architecture is based entirely around making as innovative and sound a structure as possible, which really revolves around the materials that are affordably available to be produced in such quantities as to be reliably used, right?
I bet contemporaneous peoples disparaged those older buildings when THEY were new, in favor of older existing architecture.
