I mostly play war thunder but my favorite is tribes ascend but I am shit at it
>>35Personally i've been playing a shittonne of Battlegrounds as of recent
Jesus Christ, I want to fuck a batpony.
What are we talking about again?
Giant Hitman fag here - love every game in the series except the very first one. I'm pretty much stealth game addict.
Also Fallout fag and Far Cry fag. The latter is modded to remove the casual crap to make it more hardcore and fun.
>>35Sticking to Witcher 3 most of the time. Or Guild Wars 2 - still a bit salty how it does not stands up to original. Also, quited AboveLook, coz it gave me more cancer in 6 months than Coalition of Cancer did in 6 years. Plus reliving the TF2 experience - best game that goes with ponies.
>>40TF2 haz pones? Dammit,....
>>41You did not know???!!! Practically from the series start, back in 2012. We even had a speerated themed servers with jukebox add-on to listen to fan-made music + there were quotes from the show in case of enemy domination or when being stabbed by spy and so on.
Fuckin golden times.
>>35Well, lots of RS2 lately, of course. It's pretty fun until I get too drunk to be any good... I really just play games with my friends. I have been playing a good bit of SWKotOR lately; decided to give it another through. I mostly like adventure/survival games I guess. 4x sometimes. Flight sims if I can be assed to learn it. Haven't done that since Black Shark 1.1 or whatever, though.
Only traditional game I ever really played was Star Wars X-wing minis, and that didn't last long. I guess the 1 friend I had who would play with me got tired of getting constantly rekt. Too bad, I had tons of fun with that. I also wish I had the kind of friends I could play the Tails of Equestria with, but that shit ain't gonna happen with the group I know.
>>40Wouldn't Twilight be better of as the Medic, since she's the scientist of the group?
>>35I'm playing the first witcher game. Also civ 4 some times.
>>42TF2 was where I first heard about MLP. I though the name "Rainbow Dash" was a reference to Rainbow Road from Mario Kart Double Dash.
MTG (physical cards, its better in person)
used to play pokemon and yugioh tcgs
as for vidya i play csgo, i dont really play wow i just play the AH but i used to play it seriously. I had like 8k hours in it when i quit. Used to play a lot of rust, even hosted a server on bare metal at one point until facepunch released an update that broke all linux servers.
>>35World of Tanks, in the most nazi clan on the NA server. Pretty jew-like shekelgrubbing game, honestly.
Dota 2 and TF2 on a regular basis.
The Long Dark or Minecraft when listening to audiobooks or news; they barely take any thinking to play and give you something to do with your hands while listening.
>>35I've recently played an absolute shitload of Civ 5 (usually get to the industrial era and start a new game. I've only completed three games in over 60 hours of playing).
I've also started playing KOTOR 2. I'm gunning for a lightside jedi, and i can say with absolute confidence that the pod racing in this game sucks balls.
I'm also thinking of getting Age of Empires 2, but i don't know how good it is.
TF2 and Killing Floor 2 as my multiplayer timesinks.
As for singleplayer, it largely depends, but I've been into Hollow Knight, Fallout New Vegas and Deus Ex lately.
TF2, not sure why though. almost every time I boot it up and expect something good I'm disappointed almost immediately in matches, and the community is still fairly off-putting in a disturbing amount of community servers. sadly, it appears that the time tested phrase works in games as well, because this ride isn't ending.
>>42This sounds strangely familiar to Pony Fortress 2. Were those the servers you played on?
>>45I don't play very many games, but the Witcher III was one of my favorite ones that I've played recently.
Anyone play Overcuck or Dark souls 3?
I don't play them now... but I used to enjoy Fallout, Far Cry, and other games in those genres. I also enjoyed Hitman and stealth games. My taste is much like
>>39Nowadays I mostly just play osu!
>>35been binging The Witcher 3 and Dawn of war. Got a soft spot for RPGs and RTSs
>>56Dank souls as well. Faith/Strength is best build.
>>35I play quite a few things but i've been playing a lot of elder scrolls recently. I can't often play online because my internet where I live is complete shit (1000 ping internet) but when I can I play a range of things from MMOs to indie games.
Think a steam community or should be created to help organize or connect with each other I think it would be pretty good?
>>59Nah, troll builds are best builds.
>tfw duel wield caestus and giant club strength endurance fat man >>53Yes, Appleoosa and Canterlot if I recall correctly.
>>63Cool. I used to play on the somewhat vanilla server, can't remember if that was Canterlot or Ponyville. I miss those servers since they had really good players and were always populated. Until the admin decided to change the IP without warning and the servers died in activity, that is.
I mostly play Cod Zombies, but old shit like WaW and Bo1
Been playing stellaris with a mod that makes all humans white and one that adds ponies.
>>64The owner of those servers actually made a thread on the forums stating their imminent shutdown before he actually did it. That was a long time ago though so said forums don't exist anymore.
>>70It is, most of my time on those servers was pretty memorable. It's actually ridiculous when I think how much time as passed since then.
>>71It's almost difficult to believe that it's been 4 years for me since I started in the fandom. It just feels like a sort of continuing thing, that never ceases. But then I get in contact with old friends I knew in college, who were in the fandom with me, and hear they have largely stopped following it, it feels weird
>>73I would be willing to bet that those that have largely stopped following the fandom still check content creators every so often, after a misclick while browsing the internet. At least that is the exact situation that happened in my case.
My curiosity reignited a bit after just looking at a picture of a random pone, and long story short, I found mlpol because of it.
But my case is most likely an exception.
tl;dr: Due to the expansive nature of this fandom, uninterested people might come back to check on it every so often, even if they don't care as much.
>>74How did you find mlpol? As I recall they were a great many people on April 1 in /pol/ who were lapsed from the fandom, but reentered after their experience with the merged boards. I never left and never lost interest. I think the porn kept me anchored, and reaction pics and music helped as well
>>75I found /mlpol/ after browsing a few comments on /mlp/ in an Aryanne General. Those comments talked about the creation of a new site after the board was officially deleted from 4chan. I think that was 2 weeks after it disappeared if I'm not mistaken, so I was really curious of it's existence, and I was able to confirm it after a simple google search. And that's mainly the gist of how I found this place.
>>69That was the result of the dead activity though. Before any of that, the admin changed, without warning, the IP of the servers, and that's when the servers lost most of their active playerbase. The really dedicated players knew of the forums and were able to find the new IP, but most apparently didn't and so they probably thought the servers had died and moved on somewhere else.
I have specific memories of looking at my Favorites tab in the server browser and seeing what had once been servers that could take up to 15 minutes to get a spot when they were full, to being 0/24 the great majority of the time, and the few attempts at reviving the server brought 10 people for an hour at most. Those servers stayed like that for months before the admin finally pulled the plug on all of them, which is what you mention.
It's one of the most depressing things I have memory of, especially because it was those servers the ones that really got me into TF2 and made me have to get good at the game. Before that, I just played it casually and completely obliviously.
>>91686Portugal Anon its good to see you.
>>93788How have you been these past two years? Anything you don't mind sharing? Or do you want to talk about something else in particular, if anything at all?
>>94428Well,i've learned to appreciate rarity more then i used to. and on the political front, i've been feeling rather blackpilled.
>>94516>i've learned to appreciate rarity more then i used to.In my case, I've always prefered Celestia, but if I was forced to choose between the mane 6 (mane 7 now?), I would pick Applejack.
>and on the political front, i've been feeling rather blackpilled.>I might be blackpilled as well, but in my case it stems from the fact that I'm the only person, out of all the people I know including my closest friends that supports more ethno-centric views. It might be due to the fact that the country I live in still hasn't been majorly hit by the current wave of "migrants". Most leave due to living conditions and subsidies being sub-par compared to France for instance. Another factor, but I'm not quite sure on this one, was that relatively recently my country had a dictatorial regime that ended in 1974, so that might still be fresh in most peoples minds. That's also why most political parties in my country have socialist references in their titles, like PS (Partido Socialista) - Socialist Party, PSD (Partido Socialista Democrático) - Democratic Socialist Party, BE (Bloco de Esquerda) - Lefts Block, CDU (Coligação Democrática Unitária) - United Democratic Coalition, etc...
