Set six years after season 6, Occupied Equestria presents an alternative history where the Changelings have conquered half of Equestria, while a former Equestrian colony - soured to Princess Twilight's notion of harmony with all creatures because of their encounters with griffins - Invaded and took the other half. In Baltimare and the Equestrian Southeast, the magic of friendship has weakened, as Communists, Changeling infiltrators, Fascists, gangs, and corrupt creepy politicians threaten the city. This role play is based in large part upon the Equestria at War mod for Hearts of Iron 4, and uses D&d 3.5e mechanics
Dark Star and Silver are preparing a task for the Civil Administration. Iron is drowning in a Lake. Brie has just gotten approval to speak with a Changeling agent about acting as a collaborator, and Spark is petting the weird cat things.

>>108615Well, he can do it any which way
>>108616Okay then.
They start to leave
>>108617As they exit the premises, he decides to prod a bit, trying to be subtle with a light-hearted smile.
"I assume my stay put quite the dent in your ingredient amount, right?"
>>108617Fuck it. Fingers and hooves crossed...Silver takes a deep breath and decides to risk unsealing the casket and looking inside.
>>108619The casket is sealed, or seems to be, and does not move
>>108618“What? Oh. The food? No, I have more more ingredients for food where that came from... you do not owe me anything for it”
>>108620Iron can't help but feel a bit more inclined in the 'she likes me' belief, raising his eyebrows in surprise as he follows her out of the apartment.
"Really? What about my silly requests and 'battles'?"
>>108620"Hmm..." Silver pulls out his railroadmare's hammer.
>>108621She tilts her head at him
“Are you talking about the mugging last night?”
Then she giggles
“Or the tiger”
>>108622Oh dear
>>108623Iron glances to the side, a little sheepish smile on his face when remembering the tiger events and the not so pleasant encounter of the muggers due to him asking to jog for the night.
"A bit of both."
>>108625Iron can't help but blush slightly over her pets but also frown a bit as the pair go ever forward.
"Are you sure? I put you in danger for my sake."
>>108627"No, the tiger was your problem, and mugging is a common danger in this city"
>>108628Iron seems even more convinced of her liking him, even though her reasoning is pretty mundane and logical.
However, he giggles a little over the tiger comment, looking at Cauldron.
"You know I did not mean that you got in danger because of the tiger you never met. I did not lose
that much blood to lose my memories like that."
>>108629She blinks
“What are you talking about?”
>>108630Iron looks at her funny.
"...the muggers who wanted to take us to our deaths for puny bits?"
[1d20+7 = 12]>>108623Well, since I have no idea if Curwhinny is actually dead or not, let's hope this doesn't get Silver killed.Silver strikes at where the casket is sealed using the hammer.
>>108631“As I said, it happens. Especially in that area”
>>108632Leaning towards “does not beat AC”
[1d20+7 = 20]>>108634"Come on!" Silver strikes it again.
>>108634Iron pouts slightly, but in his mind, he's plotting.
(Does she really? Perhaps I should try to send some hints later on.)
His cranes his neck up, having an idea 10 seconds later from his previous expression.
"What do you do when you are bored?"
>>108636“Remember, I listen to radio serials”
>>108635Hit
>>108637Iron hums.
"Right. I guess I
might lost some memories with the bleeding."
He chuckles, but currently figuring out what possible plans he may have.
(Perhaps that could be a ticket into getting with her later. For now, I must plot for her heart... and her plot, of course.)
"Do you listen to them at work or at home?"
>>108638“At home. I can’t listen to serials while working”
>>108639The casket cracks down the middle, with a definite sound
>>108641Like why the fuck are you trying to ignore all the shit that happened in the past five months, and asking her questions that were probably asked and answered half a year ago?
>>108640I can't tell if that reaction image is for me or Iron."That should do it." Silver now opens the unsealed casket.
>>108642Well...Any mention that could be related to the dream may be taken as crazy talk, honestly. Like I can't straight come out to her as 'Hey, did you have me kissing you passionately and almost boning you in a plane surrounded by evil cold monsters in your dream?'Alright, let me see if I can possibly make it related to her dream of what info he's gotten aka let's forget the radio thing some posts ago and try to move towards that.Iron's mind, seeing how dumb it was to actually go for the approach in his head, decides to focus harder on the dream Cauldron had instead.
"What exactly happened in that dreams of yours, Cauldron?"
>>108641"Well, they are often dramas... there is this one I listen to every week, 'The Shadow,'which is about a mysterious figure who fights criminals"
>>108644"It was like we were going through the jungles, and we were trying to find this treasure or something. You and I. There were bandits that we had to fight, and this skinny professor bitch found us and followed us. We found some money and fought off the bandits, but the skinny professor bitch turned out to be crazy, and unleashed demons upon the world or something."
>>108643Cracked, but not yet ready to be opened simply
[1d20+2 = 11]>>108645Strength: Silver tries to use his strength to force it open.
>>108645Iron nods, processing the information.
(Dramas. That could be fun.)
He decides to press further on the dream.
"What happened after that? Did we single-hoofedly fight off the evil creatures and got away victorious?"
>>108646He forces it open.............
>>108647“No! You feel through water, we almost froze to death, and I think we direct inside a rashes airplane”
>>108648Iron realizes that, indeed, the dreams were the same.
"I see. You said we 'almost' froze to death. Did we at least get off alive?"
>>108650“No, we died in a crashed airplane”
[1d20 = 5]>>108651"We... died? Was it really just that?"
Now's the time to see if she's hiding that last part with a
sense motive. >>108652He can’t really feel anything from her, except that she thought it was a strange and emotional experience
>>108649A strange smell comes forth, and... the duster remains of a skeleton and jacket
>>108654Darn. At least it confirms it happened.Iron can't help but blush a little because she witnessed that last part.
"It sure feels like you had a rather surprising end."
[1d20 = 6]>>108655Silver tries to place the smell.
>>108656“Yes... definitely... it was terrifying”
>>108657Ancient degradation
>>108658Mhm. Should have expected as much. Silver looks through the jacket's pockets for anything of note.
>>108658Iron's ears droop a little with her choice of words.
(Perhaps not.)
He ponders for a bit.
"What about that 'beach' that summoned the demons? Did we kick her flank?"
>>108661An...interesting response.
>>108661Iron hums.
"...that does not sound like a pleasant dream. We both died and the baddie did her plan ran away victorious."
He shakes his head, but wraps around Cauldron.
"Do not worry. I will not let you suffer any fate like such. We are the unbeatable duo."
(I should trust Cauldron's gut next time.)
>>108663*wraps a foreleg around Cauldron, pulling her close.
>>108663She nods, a bit more relieved. She also feels softer than the last time he touched her, with finer hairs
>>108665Iron raises an eyebrow due to this, smiling.
"Did you do something to your coat? It feels softer than usual."
>>108666“No... actually I don’t think it’s been washed since yesterday morning. Thank you, though”
>>108667"Huh. I like it."
He rubs coats with Cauldron for a second before letting go, allowing her to put some distance if she so desires.
"Was there anypony else who tried to do something bad to us? Did we talk about anything that piqued your interest?"
>>108668She does not pull away, but seems comfortable
“What do you mean? There was this other professor guy who wanted the money, and tried to challenge us”
>>108669Seeing she likes holding her, he continues with the holding, coat to coat.
"A professor? He does not sound like he knows how to fight."
He chuckles.
"As for what I mean, maybe we talked about anything in particular. Hopes, dreams, desires, fears and the like. I do not think I
always punch anything that moves without talking."
His mouth forms into a grin.
"Most of the time, at best."
>>108670She seems almost lost in trying to remember
“He didn’t... he had a submachine gun he tried to use... I remember there was money. Lots and lots of money”
[1d20+3 = 17]>>108671I'm back. I guess I'll use the magic fire on the owl... but it better not start a forest fire or something dumb like that.
>>108671Iron turns into a frown, remembering how hard he got angry from his spiel.
"That colt sounds weak."
But he turns into a ponderous look.
"Strange. Did we end up killing him to ensure the money?"
[4d6 = 18]>>108672The touch attack hits
A beam of fire shoots out of Spark’s horn in a single concentrated beam, almost like a flame thrower, lighting up the night and hitting the owlbear. It gives a pained cry
“RAA!”
>>108662>>108659A faded, yellowed letter in an envelope. It reads:
"To Tall Mast and Midnight Maelstrom, I hope you are unharmed and well in the manor house by the sea. Your old lover, Whipperwill, has formed a posse against me, and he has recruited other sailors and local militia to aid them. I think that an old compatriot of mine, Cinnamon Corn, has joined them, and turned against me. He wants access to some of what I had studied before I met you. They will be approaching the farm house shortly. My servants here have abandoned me. I am not sure that this letter will ever reach you. I want you to know that I love you. Midnight Maelstrom, see to it that Tall Mast is sent to a good school, and raised correctly. Tall Mast, it is your duty now to take on the family business, as I did from my father in law. They are approaching. If I do not meet you at the manor, or at the safehouse in the woods, may we see each other again in Elysium.
Joseph Curwhinny"
>>108673"No... I shot him, but he was tied up"
>>108675Iron nods.
"I see. Let us not talk about that further."
He huggles Cauldron for a bit.
"Did anything happen after you 'died'?"
>>108676*Zebra is huggled*
Her ears fall down, and she looks forward
"... Yes"
>>108677He cocks his head, surprised.
"What happened?"
>>108678She is quiet, and strangely worried
>>108679He rubs Cauldron's back.
"It is quite alright. You do not have to tell me if it makes you uncomfortable."
>>108680Her back is tense, but his hooves ease it
"Did... did you experience anything?"
>>108681Iron ponders a bit, his face filled with doubt.
(Do I tell her the truth?)
After a few tense seconds, he nods.
(She should not feel alone with that heavy weight on her shoulders.)
"I did. I had the same dream as you."
>>108682Okay, now she's definitely scared
>>108684Iron inhales deeply, feeling a deep sense of regret and fear for her now fragile ego.
"Let me guess what happened. A silhouette talked to you about how you are a pony that can stop what happened in the dream. Am I wrong?"
Perhaps you could tell Cauldron at what approximate date will happen. Maybe a month or a year for now so as not to disturb the group for a long time. >>108687Iron blinks, feeling stupid now for coming out like an idiot.
"What happened, then?"
>>108688“Did I... did we... I think I might have...”
>>108675"Curwhinny…" Silver regards the skeleton with respect. "You and I knew same pain. Under different circumstances, I can imagine myself trotting very same path you yourself took. You lost something very near and dear to your heart, and went to great lengths to mend that pain you had felt. And yet, you learned to move on in end, to find new meaning in life beyond those you had lost, to find new love and live again." He holds the letter as if it were a valuable treasure. "You, Curwhinny, were good pony, even if you did evil things in your life. I will take those lessons you learned, and I shall take them to heart. If, by some reason, your soul is watching me now, I wish you are resting now, in Elysium, in Paradise, reunited with your beloved Midnight Maelstrom, and your son Tall Mast...and, if you are listening...if you can, let my own long-departed know I am alright. My Storm Warning. That even though I miss her still, and that she will remain in my memories to day I die, I will not give up living my own life. For her, I will live on, like as how you Curwhinny lived on for your departed Wood Hill."
>>108689Iron cocks an eyebrow, hopeful that Cauldron skipped over his previous assumption.
"Did what?"
(Does she mean... the confession?)
>>108691Then she says it:
“Receive a visit from Princess Luna”
>>108690Awwwww >>108692Iron blinks.
"Princess Luna? Who is she? I thought there was only one princess."
Oh thank god I was right. For a second there I thought I fucked up big time again. >>108692Silver once again regards the skeleton of Joseph Curwhinny in front of him. "I will not leave you like this, your body exposed to elements. I will find those who can give you and others here proper funeral, and if nothing else, I will give you proper funeral by pyre myself. I will treat your body with all respect it deserves. I promise." Silver pockets the undelivered letter, and heads back on his way outside to the front office. He thinks to himself he might have one more request of Father Maren, if he's willing to offer him aid once again.
>>108694D’awww....
Silver is bound to the front office?
>>108693“She’s the former Princess of the Night... over all of ponykind... but she was captured... and being visited by her is serious business...”
>>108695That's where he's headed, to tell whoever is there that the job is officially, entirely, completed.
>>108695"Princess of the Night..."
(That does sound like that silhouette with her talk about harmony and being the the protector of dreams.)
Iron nods.
"What did she say to you?"
>>108697“Something about stopping that Earth pony bitch”
>>108696Past a t-intersection, a couple blocks over, is the small house with red-tile roof that forms the office for the Silver Lake development
>>108698Silver knocks on the front door, or if it is already open, he enters. "Excuse me, anypony home?"
>>108698Iron nods, now
finally able to reveal his part, too.
"A silhouette told me the same thing. I think she
was Princess Luna, but I could not see her. Only hear her voice."
>>108699“Come in, we’re about to close for the night”
>>108700Her ears fall down
“Oh...”
>>108701Iron nods.
"I know. She never told you
when it is going to happen, did she? Because she did not tell me."
>>108701He indeed does so. "It is good I caught you, then. That job you had posted, clearing quarry and catacombs of all undead: it is finished. Not one undead soul is left in entirety of area. Even Joseph Curwhinny himself, who had been lich, has been put to rest."
>>108702“She said ‘the expedition has not left yet’.”
>>108703The white unicorn mare with red, puffed mane has clearly been moving around about to set up for the end of the day. She stops, and has a wide expression
“Did you say
lich?”
>>108704"I do believe I did, yes. And as I said, he has been put to rest."
>>108705She looks startled, and blinks at him
“... Let me call in the developer...”
She goes to the rotary phone on the desk
>>108704He nods.
"We should keep an eye out when it goes out. Since you have the best connections to bars and the like, could you do that for me?"
>>108706One of those telephones, like Father Maren used...what technological marvels will we come up with next. Silver is content with waiting.
Don't worry. Just making sure we can have the possibility open for a group quest, which should make the campaign a lot more bearable
And quick, too, depending on how things go.
>>108708She calls the phone, and has a short conversation
"uh huh. He says there was a lich.
I don't know what that means...."
She hangs up, and tells Silver "He'll be here shortly"
Silver continues waiting there. He doesn't wait long - perhaps five minutes - before a pony comes through the door. It's a tan unicorn in a blue business suit. His mane is greyed
"Well hello, my name is Glass Horizons."
He offers a hoof to shake
"You say you're here for clearing out the quarry? You're a different pony than I spoke to a couple days ago."
>>108707"I... I can do that, sure"
>>108710Iron nods.
"Hopefully, it will not even pop up and somepony else will stop that expedition before us, but we must remain cautious."
He huggles Cauldron.
"I would hate to lose you to those
things."
>>108710Silver takes the offer and shakes his hoof. "It is pleasure to meet you. My name is Silver Sword. You spoke to Shimmering Spark, young unicorn stallion, yes? I was member of his group when he first came here. He could not be here today."
>>108711She still seems concerned
"What do you mean?"
>>108712He shakes his hoof. Firmly, a little too firmly
"Shimmering Spark" He looks up and off to the side
"That sounds about right... So, what is the situation with the quarry?"
>>108713Iron looks at Cauldron.
"She did tell me we are not the only ones who have been called. There are far more ponies who may or may not go to the Forbidden Jungle to stop the expedition."
He smiles.
"Meaning you may not need to risk your hide."
(Perhaps I
could call that damaged pegasus and that lonely unicorn to help me out when the time is right, but my pockets will feel so empty...)
He shakes his head,
(Remember. The money is for Cauldron. Not you.)
>>108713"Quarry has been 100% cleared of all undead. Well over two, perhaps over three dozen of them, including pony, zebra, and wolf skeletons, chimera skeleton, ghouls, ghasts, aquatic ghasts, mummy, other type of undead which is as-of-yet unidentified, and Joseph Curwhinny himself, who had been lich before I put him to rest today. That bomb in quarry has also been detonated, and some further progress has been made on draining quarry."
>>108715>>108715He looks surprised
"I understood it was a few zombies"
>>108714She blinks
"And what if everypony else thinks that way?"
>>108716Iron keeps his smile.
"That is why we have the bars to our advantage. If the expedition lead by that Peer Review fellow commences according to rumors of 'great treasure', we will go there as well."
>>108716Silver has to chuckle at the utterance of that statement. "It was
far more than just few zombies. Many were much tougher than your standard breed of zombie, at that, with many having ability to paralyze you, or turn you into one of them, with single strike."
>>108717"I think they started from a university, not a bar....." she mumbles
>>108718"Well.... We may have to see about a reimbursement from the city council..."
>>108719Silver nods. "I would hope."
>>108719"You are right about that, too, but that one intern pony did reveal where were they going before the travel, which encouraged the bandits to attack the caravan."
>>108721*caravan happened in a bar."
>>108721“I think that happened in Saltmane...”
>>108720“So it... wasn’t too troublesome, I take it? A small cave?”
>>108723Iron dreads to ask the following question.
"How far is it from here? Do you have the ponypower to get there?"
>>108723"It was entire system of ancient catacombs with three points of entry: one here in quarry, one underneath Curwhinny Farm, and one in middle of field. Curwhinny used it for his necromantic experiments, some of which were kept inside large well-like pits, and from which some escaped." Silver gives Glass an odd look. "It sounds as if your ponies were just as much in dark as our group was when we took job."
>>108724“It’s several hundred miles from here”
>>108725His mouth hangs open slightly
“We were told there were a few zombies at the bottom of a quarry, and we did not know how or why they were there”
>>108726Iron curses under his breath.
"University it is. Do you remember what it is called? I guess we could search by the names of the two expedition ponies or the leader of them. That does work, right?"
Onyx is really hoping he doesn't die, despite being at 3/4 of his health.
>>108726Silver nods some more. "I suppose with difficulty of acquiring intelligence in situation such as this, I can not fault you or anypony else. Joseph Curwhinny, after losing his entire family to plague, took to necromancy to try to bring them back, and used catacombs underneath his farm as base and place of research. It has two levels two it: upper level is where he stored many of his undead creations and experiments, raging from undead ghasts, to jars full of soul-infused ashes of long dead ponies, as well as where his living quarters were located, and lower level is where he kept his live subjects, as well as his other undead creations, including undead animals."
>>108728ONYX!
Onyx has tripped on the ground, is being chased by this bizarre as hell near with the face of a giant owl. And now it is on fire
Onyx’s turn
>>108727“It was Mistkatonic University, I think”
>>108729“... Well... we may have to call in an archeological survey then. We’ll see what we can do with those lower levels”
He scratches his head with a hoof
>>108729"Is it in Saltmane as well? If so, do we have a quick way to contact them?"
[1d20+5 = 8]>>108730Huh, well then... Um..
Onyx gets up and punches since his escape is ruined.
>>108732That should be +9, but I doubt that helps...
>>108733>>108732Attacking instead of running. Bold move
Onyx’s hoof shoots out, and hits the side of its face, but is deflected by feather and hide
CAW!>>108731“I... I don’t know”
>>108734Iron nods.
"I will have to go look for it, then. Anyplace where I can find information on those kind of universities?"
>>108734The rock now looks pissed, his coat changing to its crystal form with a twinkle of moonlight.
>>108730"It is interesting that nopony knew this place existed. It makes me wonder what else is out there, hidden by earth itself." Silver shugs to himself. "Ah, in either case, it would be appreciated to be compensated for this...admittedly troublesome job. I also have request of you. I am going to try and find somepony who can give those who have died here proper burial, give these ponies and others some peace in their afterlife. I would appreciate it if you would allow whoever I find to remove these bodies from quarry and catacombs."
[1d20+4 = 18][2d20+9 = 27]>>108732It attacks back, with claw and beak
>>108736Oh shit, it’s like a lycanthrope, but a crystal pony
>>108735“I am sure there are directories, phone books or the like”
[1d8+2 = 8][1d6+5 = 9]>>108738>>108736It tears into onyx, though his jacket stops one claw
>>108737“Oh dear Celestia, there are more pony remains? Well, we’ll look into it...”
>>108738Iron blinks at Cauldron like she's talking alien language.
"Fawn books?"
[4d8 = 16]>>108740Touch attack lands, and the creature is lit up as a cylinder of fire stretches from Spark’s leveled horn right at the owl bear. The snow and pine needles are illuminated with a red glow
>>108741“... We’ll worry about it later”
>>108739Silver nods. "There are few, not even including multitude of bodies of undead...or I suppose just dead, at this point." He looks at Glass. "Do you have good time for either me or one of my compatriots to receive compensation for job?"
>>108742Iron blinks some more.
"Alright..."
He glances to the sides.
"It will not be interrupted constantly by work, right? We can review through these Fan Books at night, for example?"
Brie gets the sudden fee;ing that he is going to regret not knowing where his bitches the party is.
>>108745There you are. How goes it?
>>108745Hi Brie.
Time has now resumed in Brieland.
[1d20+9 = 18]>>108742Onyx, looking a bit tattered and torn up by now throws caution to the wind and throws another punch.
>>108745Brie would have seen a set of cows crossing the road in front of them, with two juvenile ponies leading them. Onyx and Spark get out, and learn that the ponies are moving cows between secret forest grazing meadows to hide them from changelings. One of the cows is missing, so one of the ponies goes back to look for it, while the other stays with the cows to rendezvous with some other pony. The little pony, ‘Ruby’ goes back to find the cow along with Spark and Onyx. They find the cow’s rope is stick under some roots in a small clearing, but while ruby goes to get the cow, an owlbear steps out from the forest. Onyx taunts it. But onyx forgot to bring his Halbred. This, it attacks Onyx while Spark twice lights it up with fire spells. Both Onyx and the bear are low on HP but not out, while Spark is probably out of fire
>>108748Shouldn’t he like, run?
>>108743“Yes....”
Silver may get the feeling that he did not anticipate it being a huge job
>>108744“I don’t know. Maybe”
>>108750The look on Silver's face suggests he didn't expect it to be a huge job, either. Still, he's willing to trust this pony that he'll find a way to adequately compensate him for the work done.
[1d3+4 = 7]>>108753Damage?
Is str is 18 for reference
>>108752*Financial Accounting calculation noises*
“How about 9000 bits for the set”
>>1087547 down
>>108745Brie’s move
>>108750Iron shrugs.
"We should have a lot of time to know for sure. I have a gut feeling something should happen before the expedition leaves."
He inhales deeply, about to change the subject to be a nosy pony.
Trust me, last time he asks this."About small differences between our dreams, I wanted to know if anything happens after the Wirraway shelter is constructed, because on my end, something rather," he starts to form a little blush, "peculiar happened inside."
>>108755Silver considers it for a bit, before nodding to the pony. "That sounds like fair compensation to me. Deal. Could I request at least portion of it in proper, coin Bits? They make dealing with Griffon or Diamond Dog shopkeepers far easier."
[1d20+3 = 8]>>108755Sighs and prepares a throwing knife, while shifting appearance into that of a bear. Then throws.
[1d20+11 = 29]>>108759The knife goes wide and misses. But the owl bear takes notice, and though bloodied, is concerned by this new intruder on its turf
“CAW!”
It rushes towards Brie, and claws at him
[1d6+5 = 8]>>108760>>108759Now, it tears its claws into Brie
>>108756“What... what do you mean?”
>>108757He grumbles a bit, and again seems to do calculations in his head
“We can provide maybe 2000 bits in coin, if you’ll wait a bit”
>>108764Silver nods. "That is understandable."
[1d20+5 = 18]>>108761Nigger please.
With his other hoof, Brie draws his short sword and takes advantage of the intimate situation
[1d20 = 4]>>108764Iron kicks a possible random pebble while he walks.
"Well, in my dream, I had a scene right before a flash of light and encountering the silhouette, Princess Luna."
He looks at Cauldron, coat to coat.
"Do you know what I am talking about?"
He uses the power of Sense Motive (TM) to identify Cauldron's reaction to his comment and see what it reveals.
>>108766Hit, roll die. +2 Damage for magic bonus
[1d6+2 = 7]>>108771Except short swords are a d6
Okay, it’s got just a tiny Bit of HP left. Spark then Onyx, make your attacks!
>>108772The sword glows slightly as it stabs through the thick chest of the creature
“CAW!!!”
[1d20-1 = -18]>>108774I believe I still have a dagger... hopefully I do. I stab the thing with the dagger.
>>108775Oh shid, that's a crit, if that's a dagger. Roll to confirm.
>>108775Spark runs towards it and stabs it in the side, going through its hide and between its ribs
Roll to confirm crit
[2d4 = 3]>>108778FUCKING LANDS ON CRIT
Just barely, but that is a crit
[1d20+9 = 13]
Onyx is encouraged by the friendly attacks against the beast and strikes as well
>>108780I guess if it was charging at Brie’s to close the distance, that hit landsOnyx rushes forward and punches the damned thing in its ugly owl face
Roll damage
>>108778>>108772>>108782https://youtu.be/L2w7z0aB3l0The creature smolders, even glows with orange flame from the fur on its back, blackened by fire and giving the unpleasant smell of burning hair. It is stabbed through the neck by Brie, punched in the face by Onyx, then stabbed through its hide and into its lungs by Spark. Now, with a last, mighty punch, the old crystal war veteran sends his hoof into the creature’s forehead, bro diving a sound of a cracking skull. It stops for a moment, then falls down to the ground. Brie and especially Onyx are left bloodied and bruised by the creatures. But they’ve won.
Ruby is terrified, but has already freed the cow’s tether from under the roots. He knows very well that if the creature had not been distracted by the grave Onyx, it would have torn him, and Betsy, to pieces
>>108783"R-remind me n-never to go anywhere without my halberd again"
The crystal pony's body shows many cracks and scratches in the moonlight, slowly turning into deep cuts and scrapes as it slowly transitions back to fur.
He stumbles towards the others.
>>108785"Okay? No. Alive?"
Onyx groans as he almost falls over, a few deep cuts on his back showing themselves
"Surprisingly. Is the cow and the kid okay?"
>>108786The cow and kid do indeed seem to be okay, and look over at the bear of owl and fire
>>108786"Just hold on."
>>108772"Are you ok, Brie? Can you help Onyx?"
>>108788"I'll be fine, just need a few bandages... Maybe some sleep"
>>108789"Let's get you out of here."
Spark attempts to help brace Onyx so he can walk easier and hopes the GM doesn't notice and make it a roll.
>>108789>>108790Ruby is still more than a bit shocked by the encounter, but manages to say
“T-thank you” as he pulls Betsy away
>>108792"You're welcome, stay outta trouble you hear?"
>>108790"Thanks"
>>108792>>108793Spark guides Onyx back to the wagon.
>>108794>>108793They go back towards the wagon. It’s still there, sitting in the winter night, even if a dog has taken up residence underneath it. Ruby goes by, carrying the cow
“Now I just need to find my brother, and meet up with Dawson...”
>>108795"Spark, we got any booze in the wagon?"
Onyx lies down besides the wagon, wincing in pain.

i missed something important it looks like.
>>108796"I don't think so buddy. Just stay with me."
>>108795"Who is Dawson?"
>>108797Yeah. Brie has come back from the nether
>>108798"Who's idea was it to travel without booze? Damnit, nevermind then... I'll survive."
>>108799Remember kids, 1 block in the nether is 8 blocks in the overworld.
>>108797Eeyup. Brie is liv and the gang fought an owlbear, Iron is trying to confess to having the same dream as Cauldron (and subsequently almost boning her in it), and Silver made the GM cry and is about to be 9,000 Bits richer.
>>108797Hello
>>108798“He was the property we keep the cows on... another young stallion.”
>>108801Oh dear
>>108800I think onyx has basically no real supplies
>>108803Well duh, he's that homeless vetren on the street corner with the big ass knife.
But I thought the others might have booze.
>>108803"I don't suppose we can head there to patch ourselves up?"
>>108804Spark does but Tipsy is not for drinking.
>>108805Silver had a mini speech in front of Curwhinny's corpse that brought an "
Awwwwwwww." and a crying Sweetie Belle image out of the GM.
>>108806“Sure, he has a cabin out here, if you want to take your cart with you just go up the ridge and there’s a trail”
>>108805Yeah, he finally completed the catacomb quest and laid rest to Curwhinny, the pony whose story I didn't really read about but seems to a tragic tale of a stallion who lost his colt and therefore researched necromancy to maybe bring him back, maybe.
>>108809Dude lost his
entire family to plague. Yeah, it's pretty tragic.
>>108810Oh. Well, he did try to find a solution through necromancy, right?
That part wasn't wrong, right?
>>108806Can tipsy be used to disinfect cuts?
>>108808"That might be wise..."
>>108808"Thank you."
Spark gets out and pulls the cart, however slowly, toward the trail.
>>108813No. And hopefully the changelings leave you alone in there.
>>108814He should've at least planted a failsafe of killing everything if he ever failed in his quest.
JK. Curwhinny is nice, I think.
