>>1823Implying /mlpol/ isn't more than the sum of it's parts
>>1824#notalltans
>>1825bref it's the current microsecond, catch up already
>>1827/d/ is a shapeshifter and /trash/ is an anthro
>>1828but the 2 tans where still human themselves
>>1829Humans don't have tentacles or fur.
/z/ is the only board that doesn't has any human resemble. It's an abomination.
/3/ is a floating head and one of /his/-tans is a statue.
>>1831Don't take that point! Pls?
>>1831Damn it, you found the post
>>1818Stop trying to scare off good artists!
>>1833More like he took away my argument about not drawing porn. Which means I can never draw at my job ever again. Or purposely draw badly so no one will know.
>>1834Or, just don't tell them you're /mlpol/-tan
>>1834Or just try a different style. Weaver/GG/QuestAnon's done it at least five different times, and you'd struggle to find it out.
Or just get better. Honestly, your current art is dirty and unrefined, and not in the good way. Using spray for shading just doesn't work the way you use it. Experiment with brush settings, at the very least.
>>1837I'm not using spray. I'm using the pencil tool on the program I use. What would be a good way for me improve my shading? I mostly do it cause if I don't shade, everything looks too... Colors are too solid.
>>1830Meant /mlp/ and /pol/ are human. thus human baneh
>>1811This took me way too long to notice this is a 5 digit palindrome.
>>1839Well, it looks like spray. Certainly, there have been many artists that used a similar style of line for the better, but in your case it clashes with the inking in an ugly way.
And really, the best you can do is look at other art, specifically from artists in your general category. Drawfags from the 'chans. For example, Tex has a marvelous fucking style that is almost reminiscent of traditional japanese artists, one that isn't seen much anymore. Notice the incomplete lines with occasional harsh breaks, and the way he combines thin lines with darker hues for shading.
http://texdrawings.tumblr.com/ >>1843Hmmm I see what you mean. This style does give off a sense of traditionalism, I do like the way the faces are shaped along with the shape of the bodies.
I'll see what I can do with this, but no promises. I would like for my art to get better, even if it's just my hobby. You seem to have a sense for art as well, are you an artist? If you are, I'd love to have a look at some of your work!
Also, can you elaborate on the clash? Maybe I'm just dense, but I don't see much of a clash.
>>1844It clashes because the pencil gives the shading a texture where there shouldn't be any. It makes every shade seem porous and dirty like... well, like it's covered in dirt. A solid brush with 50% opacity would do much better than one with a texture unless, of course, you want it to have a texture. Even then, shading shouldn't have much of a texture anyway. It's not like shadows or light is so uneven in the real world.
And no, not really. I'd like to draw, but tablets are expensive as shit. I've just been around drawfags enough to have a penchant for nitpicky artistic analysis.
Or hell, just look at the sub's /art/.
https://mlpg.co/art/ [insert loomis, peception/skill, >but it's my style here]
>>1845Oooooh! That makes sense! Never really thought about it like that. Well, I can keep that in mind when the next pages come out. Except this coming up one. I think the dirty solid shading gives it a darker sense, grittier. Which kinda fits since it's a high stress point in the story.
Also, these are the tools I have available to me when I draw. I like using Bamboo Paper to draw, it's free and I like the ability to mix my colors and have a simple to use drawing pad.
>>1846On that matter, there are plenty of tools you can use, each with their own designed purpose and preferred style. Photoshop, obviously, is a jack of all trades but mostly centered around image editting rather than pure drawing, though it also has its own benefits. Cons, it's fucking expensive.
Then there's GIMP, which is shit and I've used for most of my life. Jack of all trades, master of absolutely nothing. Free. Workable. GNU, if that's your thing.
Then you get into the weird shit. Fire Alpaca's been a favorite of some artists I know, along with Painttool SAI, both of which are good. Intended for sketching and drawing, they have some interesting control schemes that might make the process more streamlined. Then there's some kind of gimmicky thing with a fractal canvas that I can't rightfully remember.
Flash and Toon Boom for animation. Graphics Gale for pixel art. Paint Shop Pro as an alternative to Photoshop. I know there are more, but I don't have a memory for that.
>>1847Yeah, but here's the thing. I don't have a drawing thing for a computer. All I have is a mouse for my computer and that fucks up my hand. I just stick to my tablet, since I already have multiple styluses and it's like I'm drawing with a pad of paper like in the old days.
>>1848You can't hook it up? Interesting.
>>1849No, what I mean is, I don't have one of those you hook up to a computer. I use an actual tablet, an iPad.
>>1850Quick googlerino, there's plenty of software that either directly interfaces an iPad with a computer or turns it into a second display, even for Windows.
>>1854>Sudden deathThought it'd go on a bit longer, desu.
>>1856I know. I just thought the feud would last a bit longer before that, since it took a good two weeks before the mods shut it down.
>>1854Yay!
>>1857No, they shut it down early morning April 6
>>1854Your comics are fantastic, and I can't look away when I see one.
>>1860Me like that idea. Ill see what I can whip up.
Also mlpol-tan, Can I make a request for just PNG faces of /pol/ and /mlpol/ ? I want to fish and need to make GR15 friendly bait
>>1865Wait a minute.... Who is that..?
Please let it be nice to our /mlpol/-tan.
>>1867Now I am concerned, but this is because it has a name now and I don't know what it truly means.
>is it good or is it bad? >the images I found wasn't the most reassuring ones.I still hope it is nice.
>>1868Checked! And kek'd at the furry Saytr
>>1865Part 28. Pity party.
Jesus fucking Christ I have been trying to post this fucking page for 5 fucking hours but my wifi is fucking atrocious right fucking now. Fuck.
>>1870Yay!
We thank you for your time
>>1870>5 fucking hours but my wifi is fucking atrocious right fucking now. Fuck.Wew sounds bad either way was worth the wait.
The story keeps going on and on, this is probably the most invested I have been with the board-tans and thats saying something since I go full autist during the winter balls.
>>1870Have you tried using a VPN? If your ISP is throttling your connection, that should resolve your connection issue.
Have a cleaned up reaction image from newest page.
>>1873Which would you rather have? Some short that ends abruptly? Or something that takes its time with a plot? I'm not trying to say let's keep this going for 30 more pages, there is an ending, I know what I'm gonna do, it's not dragging on for no reason.
I just want to give it time to develop, give you guys something worthwhile. If you guys want me to cut it short and just get to the ending, I will. It'll kill me on the inside, but I'll do it.
>>1877not him, but I like the way you're doing it currently. Keep up the fantastic work!
>>1877I think the anon was trying to say he's happy you aren't cutting the story short, and I agree with him if that's the case! I love it!!
>>1877I enjoy them. And I have mah customs you did.
>>1878>>1879Ah, thank you. Forgive me, I simply just wonder if me taking my time like this annoys people.
>>1881Never!! It's like I'm a kid again, waiting with anticipation for the next episode!!
>>1879This
I like what you have done in developing the story a lot, there will be other events and times for more comics and plots but what you have done with /mlpol/'s story is has been great and keep up the great work.
>>1870You are making some incredible story! Great work!
>>1881Take all the time you want. I enjoy these comics, regardless of how long the plot takes.
>>1870I can't believe it took me this long to post this.
>>1870>>1875The thing on his head reminded me of Piccolo.
Plus the color and the pointy ears too.
Well, today Im gonna be super busy so no new page today. But as a gift, take a sketch. /vint/ and /jp/ do have the same dad...
>>1890I can't wait for your return!
>>1870Part 29. This doesn't bother you, does it?
>>1893Yay. I love reading these
>>1893Holy shit, /mlpol/ should have a special place to show your full comic. It is our board history in a comic form.
This is so unique, original and has potential to become this site official web comic.
It's our board-tan life story being well development into a heartbreaking story at first then it slowly become a journey about finding a peaceful life once again.
I really want to see how it end but I hope you won't rush this beautiful comic. We know it always worth the wait.
Do you have a web comic site? Or some place you usually post your drawing stuff? I want to see more from you.
Thank you for your comic, it strengthened my fighting will for /mlpol/ during the time I still in 4chan. And it's indeed the most heroic story I saw on the Internet.
>>1896Thank you so much for liking this! I'm happy to know you enjoy this so much!
No, I don't have a website or post my art anywhere. This is actually my first time posting my art on the internet (along with my first time making a comic)
>>1897Well it's certainly a great job, for a first time.
I'm looking forward to the next release.
>>25605
What did he mean by this?
>>1897How would you portray (((them)))?
Alright, so there's been a suggestion about the need to make GR15 compliant images to use to advertise our board on /pol/. I think some combination of the attached images, Warhammer 40k, mlpol-tans images, and the site name, could work
>>1901When I've made a few more, I'll open a GR15 Friendly Ammo dump thread. Also, mlpol-tan faces are currently being shopped for use, thought more faces would be awesome
>>1903The challenge is this: make an image that advertises mlpol, but is GR15 compliant. We intend to spam /pol/ with these images so that people can become aware of our site's existence. The image could say "mlpol" somewhere in it, but doesn't need to say the site name because we are on google.
>>1905There wouldn't be very much of a point if there weren't any lulz involved, M8.
>>1906I fucking love this timeline... I feel free now that I can post for teh lulz again!
>>1903/pol/ and /mlpol/ faces would be awesome. I'd be able to shoop abit with those
Unless someone else takes over the Shops, this is now a dead thread.
Other words for not a flood.
>>1893Part 30. He is nice board.
>>1910Wew I wasn't wrong to call him cra/z/
>>1910Of course he's a nutcase.
>>1910Part 31. He's nuts. We all know it.
>>1916Wh-where's /vint/-tan? I don't like this sc-scary guy..!
>>1725I just found this site. Im home again. Im finally free of the donald once more. Im so happy. I missed you all.
(USER WAS GIVEN A CUPCAKE!) >>1922Welcome Anon.
We expect more people from /pol/, considering there will be a big influx of cancer from the_D.
>>1922Dude! Isn't it great? Right after they (((shut it down))) I got banned for raiding /b/ with pony porn and then didn't go online for about a month.
