An odd discussion topic, but considering how most Shonen anime are intertwined with Japanese culture, what do you think an American anime would look like?
Not just western cartoon that copies the Japanese art style and assorted asian themes/symbolism/spirituality like Avatar, but a purely American thing that looks Japanese but still kept the American sensibilities.

Maybe it would be something like My Hero Academia.
That show draws almost everything from its take on a western superhero world. And its villains are evil "revolutionaries" who just want to create a world where they can be free to be creepy/evil assholes. Any "grrr fuck heroes, they're just in it for the money and fame!" bullshit they say doesn't justify the obviously-evil shit they do.
