we're looking for anyone who was in the official pony threads on 4chan /trash/, or anyone from the "pony community" thread that was active in the final days of /mlp/.
>>4892 I tried to keep up with the last thread and it was incomprehensible to me you guys are just talking to your friends its not an /mlp/ or /mlpol/ thread
>>4893 maybe you could take some of that narcolepsy drug that makes people smarter. the movie limitless was based on it. i bet you'd be able to comprehend all kinds of shit then.
>>4899 obviously you need a prescription. now admittedly, i only saw the previews for limitless, but it seems like a slam dunk. guy takes drugs, becomes a genius. help me find the part of that which isn't an absolute win.
>>4907 Leave it to an offboard nigger scrounging around in /trash/ who knows nothing about board eqitque. No one cares about you needing to have your shit on the front page, go back to the old thread on page 6
>>4924 >/opg/fags know nobody likes their threads from spamming the catalog. >They went to /vx/ so they don't bother anyone and can have their circlejerk >triptroons (you) know nobody likes your threads from spamming the catalog >Proceed to dig in your heels like a brownoid brat, don't even bother with considering basic board quality like when threads hit bumplock and page 10
>>4945 I'm being (partially) facetious. I have the necessities, so I have no reason to whinge about mind-altering drugs. At any rate, I wish you and yours a happy Easter. Did you get up to anything fun?
>>4950 not really, unless you count changing my truck's brake pads as fun. well, actually i do count that as fun, but i wanted to work on one of my other cars today.
>>4951 I have the vague apprehension that if I did go to Equestria, it would be hell. I think they would lock me up in Tartarus with all the other abominations. >>4952 I happen to like old Ford Rangers. Do you have a favourite type of car?
If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part, but when completeness comes, what is in part disappears. When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put the ways of childhood behind me. For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.
And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.
>>4968 i've had a 2001 and a 2000, and a 1994. the current one is a 2001, but don't tell autozone because i'm still cashing in the lifetime warrantee on the 2000's pads even though i crashed it years ago. i still have most of it, if they want to be sticklers.
>>4905 >>4904 Yep. Went through a thread already. We were falling off the board, so we made a new one.
>>4913 >You don't do anything We have community discussion surrounding ponies and pony content and the community surrounding ponies and pony content. These are pony topics.
>>4927 >Spamming the catalogue One active thread at a time isn't spamming the catalogue retard. You're not an mlpol regular anyway.
>>4932 >need to have your spam at the top Says someone bumping the thread with spam rather than engaging in actual discussion.
>>4936 >furfag circlejerk Show me a single furry that's been posted.
>>4955 >ftfy Man, you must be really fun at parties.
>>5006 you realize that in order for there to only ever be one thread, we'd have to not link to the new thread ever, right? That's not how any of these threads have worked since January 2011.
>>5009 they want the thread autosaging so they push us off the back page with spam. us not autosaging means they won't even bother attempting that, thus we've actually saved the board from getting spammed.
>>5015 >>5017 You don't really get to make that argument when someone attempted to hijack the /mlp/ community threads because I explicitly waited until page 10 to make a new one.
>>5023 >>5028 the parasprites need food too. Plus I enjoy banter. It's not like it's hurtin' anything here. That said, yeah, of course you get to make any argument you want. It's just going to look stupid when you do.
>>5033 the indignance of that guys post made me lol. like yeah my dude, no one is physically going to restrain you from beclowning yourself. it's just that arguments are supposed to follow a tract of logic, or they kind of just make you look stupid.
>>5050 Hi, I'm the one who posted anon on /mlp/. I posted that way for years and was trying to start a community thread in the style of the old /b/ community threads from back in the day.
Acts 1 1 The former account I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus began both to do and teach, 2 until the day in which He was taken up, after He through the Holy Spirit had given commandments to the apostles whom He had chosen, 3 to whom He also presented Himself alive after His suffering by many infallible proofs, being seen by them during forty days and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God. 4 And being assembled together with them, He commanded them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the Promise of the Father, “which,” He said, “you have heard from Me; 5 for John truly baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now.” 6 Therefore, when they had come together, they asked Him, saying, “Lord, will You at this time restore the kingdom to Israel?” 7 And He said to them, “It is not for you to know times or seasons which the Father has put in His own authority. 8 But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”
John 1 1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. 4 In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it. John 1 6 There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. 7 This man came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all through him might believe. 8 He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light. 9 That was the true Light which gives light to every man coming into the world. 10 He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him. 11 He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him. 12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: 13 who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. John 1 14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. 15 John bore witness of Him and cried out, saying, “This was He of whom I said, ‘He who comes after me is preferred before me, for He was before me.’ ” 16 And of His fullness we have all received, and grace for grace. 17 For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.
John 20 19 Then, the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled, for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in the midst, and said to them, “Peace be with you.” 20 When He had said this, He showed them His hands and His side. Then the disciples were glad when they saw the Lord. 21 So Jesus said to them again, “Peace to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you.” 22 And when He had said this, He breathed on them, and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit. 23 If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven them; if you retain the sins of any, they are retained.” 24 Now Thomas, called the Twin, one of the twelve, was not with them when Jesus came. 25 The other disciples therefore said to him, “We have seen the Lord.” So he said to them, “Unless I see in His hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and put my hand into His side, I will not believe.”
>>5097 I had a feeling that did it after I typed it and read it again, and didn't get the feedback I was expecting. It's all good, Colgate, Minuette, Minny, Toothpaste pony, etc... all refer to the same waifu I know and love.
>>5098 you want to make a burner email? it would take more effort but proton is super easy to make one. If you want I will make one and you can email me.
>>5106 yea, it wasn't that hard. I was around for the creation of the board on 4/1/19 i think so it's a regular lurking spot for me for years. Same with NHNB. I'm just glad the old guard is still around and able to keep the torch alive in these trying times. If anything I am always lurking, I have cut back on my postings and just chill as anon
>>5096 Thought you were someone I remember as Colgate, but I remember the name Shiny too. Nice to see you. Happy to hear from you. >>5099 Yeah, that's definitely what did it.
>>5105 I'll add my burner I've been using here too. Why not. I want my blue name back.
>>5109 >chill as anon Mostly what I've been doing on /mlp/ for a while. I've been around, but as you're probably aware things were pretty virtiolic until the recent shift towards a more relaxed environment to discuss what went wrong with the show. I'm happy to be here for the community though. As always.
>>5109 i considered just waiting for 4chan to come back up, but the tedium was unbearable. then multiple people started recognizing me without my trip in the discussion thread on the mlpol board. so at that point i realized i might as well just get things going again.
>>5115 makes sense, and yea the blue names are sexy. Also I think you might have remembered me as Shiny=Colgate in your memory. Since there really wasn't another Colgate fan back on /b/ and I exclusively and religiously posted her so the confusion is understandable and it's also an honor to be confused with my waifu. There was a Coolgate and a Colg8 on /mlp/ at one point too so maybe that blurred things too. I don't think the namefag names from ancient /mlp/ are 100% correct but that's not the point.
>>5120 Oh man, I stopped using that steam. And that actually makes sense since I had you on that steam for like a decade. And I had several names including Colgate (i think). It doesn't matter my ego doesn't care if I am remembered correctly. If I wanted to be I would have posted with my trip more on 4chan to keep my memory alive. But I am remembered now so that is nice.
>>5123 You can always look at the name history, if its a recent change and the don't change names as frequently as underware it will show. Or they haven't deleted their name history...lol I just deleted everyone and stopped using the account. I don't play the games I have on that old account anyways.
>>5144 Ive been busy AF and decided to check if gookmoot brought the site back already and he fucking hasn't so now I'm here.. Really cool that now I have more than just image board.php from 4chan. I was looking over the source and noticed moot had added a line in there just for me.
>>5142 Not with a bang but a whimper. But what do you expect from the moderation "4chan team". Did you also see the possible fake admin message of 19 jannies and 1 mod leaving after getting doxed? They are in danger of losing it all if they all leave and there's no one to run or hire that they can trust. lmao...it was another group that they treated like us... and you see what it got them. Karma is a bitch and if you keep on shitting on enough people it's bound to bite you in the ass eventually.
>>5146 >I was looking over the source and noticed moot had added a line in there just for me. Oh please do elaborate, I love to hear about the indilible marks we leave on the net.
>>5146 he really let that place rot to the ground, all while squeezing the users more and more to sell passes. i realized you were the one who got me started AI generating ponies, so thanks for that. i've made over 25k of the min the last couple years.
Dusting off and cleaning my drawing board. Tomorrow I will work on these drawing projects, or I'll just procrastinate. Motivation comes and go, maybe I might need some more adorable pinkie pie pics.
>>5153 The /b/ pony thread never had malicious intent. Only a desire to call a place home on the net. So what we choose the worst cess pit on the web? What better place? What better time?
>>5156 yeah, skitty was just having fun with moot. moot was a sourpuss stick in the mud. skitty was the only one of us smart enough to know hotwheels was getting screwed over at 8chan. he saw that 2.0 beta site for pile of garbage it was. of course cripplekike didn't listen.
>>5153 Hey cunt I dont have time to nerd out on schizo underwater basket weaver image boards anymore because now all my free time goes into making sure Americans have the worst possible experience consuming energy
>>5150 Ive seen that they've gotten better over time. I occasionally lurk and just observe.. Are you using some sort of custom model or something?
>>5149 Rapeape or whatever their name was had gotten their hands on an old version of banbuster and had written 2 lines to detect an error I made in my program. It only worked on an old version tho.
>>5151 Hello northern, do you still.have a harem of tulpas
>>5175 Ive been doing HORRIBLY I lielterally slave away each day, my life no longer belongs to me, someone else literally owns my fucking life and I can do nothing about it. I'm literary DEAD inside, its ogre. Its all for naught. Why do I continue my fight against entropy? I JUST WANT TO LDAR. Help me
>>5186 That sounds fucking terrible and familiar. Is it a family member? Is there no-way to distance yourself from them? Maybe, just haven't considered all the options. I thought so too until I start to live on wellfare.
>>5188 i did enjoy what i was able to do with my custom 1.5 model. but once i saw SDXL make a perfect g4 twilight on the first try, i never used 1.5 again. i still have about 5K unshared 1.5 amorphous blob twilights somewhere around here.
>>5186 Greetings! >>5192 Imagine a scenario where one particular autistic person had a plot of land, the better part of 10 acres. Imagine that this person had zero fucks to give and has decided to dedicate his life to ponies and and enable those like himself to likewise pursue ponies unfettered by the machinations of man and the jew.
>>5192 >Is it a family member? Close, its my fucking BOSS.they expect me to wake up each day at exactly the time they tell me and do work for them in exchange for H-E-B Buddy bucks to buy food idunno why they can't just give them to me for free, fucking asshole
>>5203 WYM hey there? I told you, I'm always here. You could post "Hey Ninjaz" and within 15 minutes (probably much less) I'll be like "Yes?" I'm working on my PC setup, I've got one of those fancy curved monitors now, in addition to my flat screen :3
>>5204 >Tell my boss he SUCKS Don't doubt that for a second. >pay me and let me sleep Well, you are Skitty and want to be treated like a cat. Checks out.
>>5201 >plot of land to pursue ponies unfettered by anything else Sounds great to me, though maybe a bit cult-y for my tastes.
>>5206 Still nice to see you post, but yeah. I've absorbed the fact that you're always here now. I used to be like that, and to an extent I still am, but not like I used to be.
>>5214 Well, the premise is that a not-insignificant minority of chan/pony-affiliated young men have been priced out of any hope of owning property or saving money (heaven forbid bot). The idea continues on the pretense that such individuals are stronger working together than independently and individually. I'll just say it. The idea is currently called Anonfilly House. It's not a house, every filly has their own, with shared common areas and resources. Effectively a commune, except where the household exists as the "nation" and the strategy is National Socialism.
>>5213 They get depressed and make a sad face, sometimes pass out. Unbelievable. >>5223 I'm literally in Texas. I lived in downtown houston for the past 2 years.
>>5222 i like to watch streaming tv with the sound off while i work from home, and so i make use of every smartphone i've ever owned. i have them all on mounts that ring my main dual monitors. so i will sit all day and watch monster trucks, police chases, failarmy, racing, and the continuous livestream from the space station's external camera. i also have conservative news playing on one and libtard news on another, so the narratives can fight it out. the result looks like the guy's tv in the movie idiocracy.
>>5224 Oh. Well that's convenient. Well then, how candid do you want to be? We can take this to discord, or I could tell you about the hidden board (of COURSE there's a hidden board), or we can adjourn until later. But, if you're really in a bad spot,....
>>5228 he said houston, that's pretty bad. i think that's the city where to police chief was recently fired for flat out just not enforcing the law at all. the pigs there had their own secret code for calling in incidents that they had no intent of investigating. why? because they wanted crime rates to go down. what's the fastest way to make crime rates go down? don't say enforcing the law, that's the hard way. the easy way is to just not apply the law in any situation where a crime has occurred. car stolen? check back tomorrow, maybe they were just borrowing it. raped? are you sure you weren't just a little in to it? gunshot wound, eh? you must have slipped and fallen on a bullet. and thus, the reported rate of crime goes down. and they can point to those numbers for proof of all the good they're doing.
>>5231 >Do what thou wilt Kek, quoting at me. >>5232 No, I'm trying to enable wayward horsefuckers to evade the pitfalls and perils enacted on them by the jew.
>>5245 I mean, it's a pretty common sentiment. I'm sure a lot of people said it through the years without even knowing its origins. As far as the pony community is concerned though -- Wastelander was the one to popularize it here.
>>5240 Allow me to make it c ringe by explaining. I represent a household that has no blood relation (with the exception of Lenos' mom Lenos being a pseudonym). Years ago I inherited a windfall, such that said property was purchased (it's deeded, so it can never be seized except as part of criminal enterprise). Having not earned the money, I decided to make a plan. The FIRST thing I did was reach out to Atlas (former owner of Mlpol) and tell him "I will cover all the bills for the site", to which he said "Okay, but don't be a douche about it". After that, I relocated - with Lenos and his mom - to Texas where we reside. Since arriving (it was in '18), we have drawn an additional 2, one of whom is a fellow horsefucker (we met through the anonfilly Ponytown group). We're a bunch of misfits. Several are on disability, everyone SHOULD be, but we're sufficiently soluble that I can be flippant and goad doxing on the internet.
I don't currently fund the site, but I did for the first 4 years. You guys have your chan cred, this is mine. I don't fund the site anymore, though I could probably predict who does, but thats irrelevant. I'm certain I know who does, I just can't be certain which one.
>>5248 Anyway, even beyond the 5 we have, we have helped another two friends to raise money and resources by not having to pay rent for up to a year. >>5252 Because I'm not used to using tripcodes and didn't apply it again. I literally registered a tripcode because of the Community thread
And, this isn't an attempt to gain followers or any culty shit. For me it's about having more than I need to survive and wanting to ease the burdens on as many as I can, in defiance of the jew.
>>5248 >>5250 >>5258 I take it this is what you meant by me being surprised by your master plan per my offer to introduce you to folks. I see. Well you're right, I am surprised. Though, as stated, not really my thing, but I do understand and approve of the idea of pooling resources if it assists a group of friends.
>>5256 They're by Skutchi, who ran Ask-Twilight-Sparkle (usually referred to as Ask-Sketchy-Twilight) from the heyday of the old pony community ask blog boom. Fun fact: At one point I tracked down Skutchi and thanked them for their work. They told me that they were happy I reminded them that character focused work was their strong suit, looked at some of my own work (including a thank you image I made) and told me they saw a lot of influence from their style in my own, which was a hell of a compliment, to be honest. I asked them if I could have the rights to use the picture I attached to this post however I want, and they agreed, but told me I should contact the person who colored it. I did so, and they gave their approval, making this image like the only one I've gone out of my way to aquire the rights to actually use in my life.
>>5260 There might be, but it's psylocybin >>5262 *curtsies* I do tend to foreshadow >not my thing Understandable, it's weird on it's face. But yes, there's an observable fringe in society that would otherwise be discarded and abused. Not trying to "save" anyone, but I do think there's a handful of horsefuckers who could benefit from a helping hand.
>>5265 As long as you put helping people first and anything else second you'll do fine, but remember, don't make rules that impact others' lives or make demands of people in vulnerable positions if it can possibly be avoided. I commend the idea of helping people, even if, again, this particular iteration of it I'd have to see in action to tell whether I approve or not of the implementation and outcomes.
>>5257 NGL I do love living in the middle of nowhere, if I joined your cult then what about my slave masters? I'm not sure I want to abandon them just yet... Since they do pay me pretty well...
>>5267 I appreciate what you are emphasizing. The only rules pertain to property (everyone owns their space even though the deed says I do, and that's legally actionable if I were intent on encroaching, which I'm not). I own the property so that everyone does (literally, I have a will that bequeaths the property to a trust, and all members are named trustees)
>>5268 This isn't like yellowstone where you take a brand. If you're close enough to benefit from my largesse, I'm open to it. No expectations of recompense, no "You owe me now". If anything, its a "You owe YOU now, because you will be in a position to help someone".
>>5269 That is a very clever implementation indeed. As I said, I commend your efforts if everything you say is genuine. I respect the commitment, even if I'm still skeptical about its actual implementation and struggle to see why it would be inherently tied to national socialism. Nonetheless, if you're helping people, you're helping people. I'm sure that if that is the case, any amount of skepticism I display will be relatively meaningless next to the knowledge that there are people you are, actually, helping. Tentative good job on identifying a problem and attempting to provide an option for those suffering from it (even if you and I probably disagree on the source of that problem). Doing what you can for other people is always worth appreciating. I'm sure you don't get many people who will approach your ideas with the attitude I have, so I hope that has made you happy, at least.
>>5281 The tie to National Socialism is to do with the assumption of roles. In National Socialism, the state exists both to shield it's populace from the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune (deliberate quote), and to aid them and to service them in the pursuit of prosperity (as opposed to pleasure)
>>5283 This then, is the role of the household as a taxable non-entity under the custodianship of a naturalized American who is in good standing with the law.
>>5283 Well, I see what you mean definitionally, though functionality and definitions often differ rapidly. I also don't really see this as a 'state', though I understand the idea of thinking of it like one, as it has an inherent separatist style appeal given your already present tendencies toward divergance. My response is, as it was, "If you're actually helping people, then by all means, go ahead."
>>5287 >rural Texas Unless your neighbors are actively conspiring to enact the final solution within the US, they won't even show up on glowniggers' radar
I'm chump change. These families have been here SINCE THE BEGINNING. And yes, they had the presence of mind to stockpile firearms. The "line of scrimmage" will never be my door, no matter how bad shit gets
>>5291 Respectfully disagreed. If there is to be a final solution (dubious) it won't be in my lifetime. That will be for future generations to mete. Look at today. It won't be until 2085 that Hitler's birthday appears on the same day as Easter. Now is the time
>>5294 That nails it. The constrictions of the jew on society have redndered it untenable for an observable minority. As a card-carrying member of that disenfranchised minory, I feel it is suitable to commit the resources I have deign over to assist the small handfull of people that I can to experience as much liberty as the jew would deprive them of
I'm not adversarial about the idea, I'm just gonna (already are) do it. I'm a caustic-as-shit shitposter, but irl I hate hearing people shout. I'm nobody, just a weird anon. But rent is a tool of the jew, so I would FOREMOST absolve anon of that
>>5324 Some people typically have a few animals or something just for the agg exemption, now I'm wondering if you do this but with anons. Are you farming anons, anon?
>>5332 I ask because I know how bad taxes are, and if you own that sort of land then you know my struggle and WHY IM A SLAVE TO THE TAX MAN.
Now im curious, if your anon farm is free range and fully neet, how do they support themselves? Who feeds them? Feeding anons sounds expensive even if its just a McDonalds a day.
>>5337 No, she was put out quickly with a bullet, no pancaking. >>5338 >taxes Lol, the property taxes are ~$50 per year. >Free range NEETs I did say most of us are on disability
>>5382 Frankly, it isn't. Discords are insular, this isn't. We're welcoming here. You could become an immediate and well liked member of this community just by being here for a couple weeks. We care about everyone who comes to the thread. That's the point. You can't *get* that with a discord. Discord is not a space for an open, public community postboard where anyone can see what's being posted, come by, talk and participate in the public square of a community's conversations. Discord isn't capable of being what the old community used to have, that we're still fighting for the existence of. This is why I started the /mlp/ community threads as well.
>>5607 discords have a way of becoming weird if left to their own devices. it's ironic that people who hate these threads and want to destroy them are actually the lifeblood of them. it keeps things in perspective. personally i just won't use discord because i don't trust it. and given the number of leaks to come out of it, i doubt that distrust is pure paranoia.
>>5607 Thanks for at least trying to understand. It means a lot. I do have a Discord for keeping up with personal friends, but I don't participate in any large communities aside from a couple of niche romhacking and game modding scenes there.
>>5618 >i just won't use discord because I don't trust it. I'm of a similar mindset. Even with fake numbers/email addresses I still wouldn't trust them with my data with their penchant for training models with users vox data, and the apparently real-time monitoring of groomers voicechats.
>>5626 the worst is now there's a lot of indie games and game mods that use it. if i encounter one of those, i'll just figure whatever problem out my damn self.
>>5618 >>5626 >discord CEO and founder of Discord: >Jason Citron was born on September 21, 1984,[5] in San Francisco, California, into an Ashkenazi Jewish family
>>5636 >indie games That I can well imagine. >game mods Any examples? I haven't encountered any mods requiring discord, but then again the only game I really play with other people is FFXIV >>5638 And somehow, I am never surprised.
>>5651 I suspect the reason why is quicker error reporting. If there's an issue/bug/exploit the creator will get faster feedback compared to hosting it elsewhere and having to trawl through all sorts of bullshit, waiting on error logs from the end user and the like. Free filehosting too I guess. Me? I'll stick with IRC.
>>5623 I mostly use it for TTPRG/art stuff and maybe chatting with some people. But, that's like the only communities I even bother when it comes to Discord.
>>5672 According to several posts, the Tripfag trip was guessed by some other person, and the original tripfag is still doing whatever. I don't really care. The point is that some basic precautions are unfortunately necessary as people are just dicks.
>>5672 That was indeed me. >>5685 Nope, I was the real deal. It looks like you guys have your hands full even without me. I'm not here to continue my imageboard addiction, I just forgot to post this one too. ClaroQueSi##TAMarInd3806e
Speaking of tripcodes. I am available again to generate some for any Poners. Email me at [email protected] or ask me in thread if you don't care if everyone knows it. But let me know if you sent an email here, so I respond in a timely matter.
>>5784 Welcome back, Shiny. Happy to have you as always. As I said, I'd be happy to reconnect to talk about that old stuff again. You know where to find me if you want to, but for now I'm just happy you're here.
>>5788 Sup Smokey? I almost got seriously injured today when a stepladder's rusty hinges snapped and caused me to very nearly slice my arm open on broken metal. Got pretty lucky, I have a cut on my wrist and bruising that indicates that it could have been a gash right up the suicide artery.
>>5789 that's horrifying. please be more careful. you should always do a safety check of any ladder or stepladder before you use it. i still have a huge gash on my hand from slicing it open while trying to make a homemade boxcutter. i don't recommend doing that either btw.
>>5790 hopefully you've been doing well. i passed out after work. it was an exhausting day.
>>5791 I have been, thank you. Honestly, with everything that has happened - notwithstanding 4chan being kill - all my wildest dreams have come true. Mlpol is finally being given what I would describe as the respect that it has always deserved. You of all anons know what it means to thanlessly burn for a place for years without any hope, sign, or glimmer of respite. I'm stressed by how happy I am
>>5791 Yeah, I did do a cursory inspection, but the rust had corroded from the inside of the hinges holding the legs of the stepladder to a frame shape, nt immediately apparent. Sucks, but I'm lucky so I got off with a couple bruises.
>>5792 It is pretty cozy here. Thanks for your part in keeping it spiffy too.
>>5787 I know babe. ;) >>5788 Hey Smokey >>5789 Celestia smiled on you today. >>5790 Sup! >>5795 >>5792 Good job poner! Thanks for doing your part in keeping this place alive. Tireless anons like you are crucial to keeping a place like this alive. Unsung heros xD
>>5792 this place deserves all the success and respect its due. people still regard the mlp-pol merge on april fools one of the funnier events in internet history. as you could see in those caps from the last thread, 4chan was abusing their users for along time. ask that poor zaiger faggot who moot insisted was skitty, dude got doxed. and their mods were fucking insufferable, acting like gods and showing up in the thread to mass ban us. that was experienced by almost every board, so the end result was predictable.
Fuck, I loved pinkie pie before but now it's getting dangerously into enamoured level, why now ? From all the years of posting about ponies, I've finally fallen to being a waifu fag for pinkie pie, I can't help it but have pinkie pie related fantasy now.
I definitely need to increase my pinkie pie related folder, given this turn of event.
>>5823 >>5821 Welcome to the club. Twifag here, have been for a very, very long time. Though, given when you knew me, that might surprise you. You knew me back when my favorite pony was Rarity.
>>5822 Ponki hugs only though. >>5823 What confuses me is why now ? I've always was able to maintain a certain distance from the character from years on years on posting about ponies. My ponk folder is criminally absent. >>5824 rara ? Feels somehow familiar.
Anyways, now I get ... a very wild variety of fantasy about pinkie pie that goes from simple vanilla kissing to strange and psychedelic day dreaming of eldritch deity pinkie pie.
I love my weird psychedelic pinkie pie, she is strangely wholesome, she stretches unto impossible forms, pretty much like thing pone but never in an intimidating or threatening manner, it's always kind and caring cartoon style to make me laugh or a bit strange but very colorful vibrant pink where she somehow melt into me and huge me, ghost maybe ? I dunno how to explain it in a way that makes senses.
>>5825 >>5826 >>5830 Not sure why my Tripcode reset there. It hadn't on this device before that post. Sorry, Smokey. Not actually Twifag, though I know who you thought I was for a moment there.
>>5827 >Eldritch deity Pinkie Pie Ala S9? Or something better.
>>5840 I couldn't watch past season creatura Equestria, I just couldn't. Thingpone but with a cheerful, not hostile, sweet and caring attitude would be dope to have as a pony companion.
>>5857 i have a 3d printer, and one of the things i tried printing out were various boxcutter designs that use a standard size blade. the first few were fine, but while i was putting the last one together it slipped and cut me between my fingers. skin is very thick there but i did get a pretty good look inside my hand. then i realized i already own several non-3d printed boxcutters.
>>5870 i print out all kinds of stuff. it's great for replacing missing knobs and handles on things. i also copied the design of some ebike fenders off a chinese site using AI tools, so i have my own custom fender set for a bike i'm working on.
>>4880 CELESTIA I CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE LET ME GO BACK HOME TO /MLP/ THIS PAST WEEK IS THE WORSE I NEED TO GO HOME BRING BACK MY HOME OR SEND ME TO EQUESTRIA I CANT DO THIS
>>5887 What do you mean? Are you asking if I'm ready to die inside a cauldron full of potatoes and carrots in some sort of redneck the hills have eyes hybrid scenario? Because it sounded like thats what you asked.
>>5888 I'v been holding off on posting on mlpol because I have been thinking >Surely it will only be a few more hours before 4chan is back up >its a simple website >surely anytime now >anytime now >>5890 I mean ....I got a few emails through ss I could yell at too but no, my frens are all on /mlp/ and all anonymous and (You) are all i talk to and its killing me being so lonely lately AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
>>5894 unfortunately, fixing 4chan is more complicated. if hiro's team was able to do it, they wouldn't have let the site get so out of date in the first place. now it's a total teardown to fix it. it would be idiotic to just bring it back online when everyone now has the site code. 4chan got the way it was because hiro used it as a paycheck. he didn't do the maintenance or updating you have to do on a place like that. if it comes back at all, i highly doubt it will resemble its original incarnation. we might be missing whole boards, who even knows if they'll remake /mlp/. this place is nice, and not abandoned by its admin. i think we could make a fresh start here. it's more active than the 8chan pony boards.
>>5895 I held my fluttershy plush in bed a few nights ago and she told me how much better things would be when I'm in Equestria and what my life will be like when I get there I'd imagine your about the same level of suicidal, not actively looking but looking foreword
>>5899 She must be lonely. You need to buy her some friends.
>>5898 >>5901 Given that probably a majority of staff of 4chan are likely to quit, and it’ll be difficult to trust new hires, it would actually make a lot of sense to prune off the lower pph boards, or to combine similar boards.
>>5898 >who even knows if they'll remake /mlp/. If the /mlp/ board is cut could you imagine the carnage of horsefuckers raiding the remaining boards yelling for /mlp/ to come back or at the very least how bad /co/ would get You can NOT fit all of /mlp/ in one /co/ general
>>5898 It's going to have to be rewritten from the ground up. Or they could move over to alternative imageboard software, commonly shared between altchans. Any relaunch of 4chan should start off slow, with a handful of boards, such as /a/, /b/ and /v/, slowly readding the rest over time if things go to plan. We also need more transparency in the security process.
>>5901 don't stress about it. /mlp/ was one of the more popular boards. i'm sure it's on the list to remake.
>>5908 yeah, they will have to bring it back eventually as a containment board.
>>5902 you really think the staff will quit? but rapeape told all the jannies we appreciate them. fun fact: they literally only had one guy watching trash. that's why it was never fucked with.
>>5906 i noticed /b/ was actually pretty dead on 4/1. did you notice how the pony thread there wasn't sliding as fast as back in the day? it's mostly died off there.
>>5904 >Dont say depressing things like this. It makes you look crazy, the unironic kind. sorry too far, I'm fine promise! ...But I do like imagining what it will be like when I get there.
>>5909 Or maybe I should watch more shows. Fucking palworld has consumed my life, I can't go one 10 trillionth of a femtosecond without the thought of my quivern going through my head
There is going to be a mass flood of shitposts when 4chan comes back, so of course, it's acceptable that they have to start slow, when the status of the mod team is unknown. And they can only do so much at once.
>>5924 I feel like this was one of the factors killing the site. With many emails possibly leaked, they'll wanna think twice, but need to cone up with new ways to tackle spam.
(Thankfully I used a spare email and not my important one)
>>5902 Holy shit thats a Flawless plush isnt it! I got A TON of official plush to keep Fluttershy company like over 60 I think counting little keychain ones. I'll snap a few pictures later. poner needs a merch thread
>>5913 >Would rather fight being pushed off the board in dick posting central than stay on mlpol /b/ is the ancestral homeground of our slice of the pony community. It means a lot. The opportunity to reclaim it would be... something.
>>5915 Sounds like ripe ground for a proper pony community thread, then.
>>6081 Just work. Spring is my favourite season, so I've been enjoying the rain. Sleep is most delicious when I hear droplets pattering against the windowpane. Besides that, I've been gearing up for building scale models, a hobby of mine. What's your favourite board here?
>You don't understand, the ONLY way for ANY sort of community to exist is with an avatarfagging pisscord style circlejerk. >There's literally NO OTHER WAY!
>>6131 I've always wanted to live in the Mojave myself. The desert is so majestic and serene. I know of people there who live in caves and establish infrastructure inside, think wiring up energy efficient appliances to car battery banks and the like. Though I'm also told that tweakers roam the outliers of nearby towns like highwaymen.
>>6175 The people on Discord not the problem. It's Discord itself paywalling features, pushing AI when people dont want it. Erosion of privacy. There are many more reasons, but I won't go into all of them.
>>6193 >the outdated "blame the jews just because" argument Blame him on the basis of him chasing money and seeking an IPO, while quality of service degrades.
>>6195 not him, but I will blame the furfags running discord and turning it into an ai data harvesting slopfest to attract blackrock board of directors for maximum money, continuing and furthering the "everything bubble". use mumble and IRC. Both are superior for text and voice communication and neither reqires an account to use somebody elses server
>>6197 I dont judge furries on the basis of who they are, but by eaxh individual's actions. Okay, maybe nazifurs are on my shitlist, but that'd about it. Mainly i'm just not comfortable with the CEO's proximity to the fascists running America.
>>6238 Oh man , I remember trolling the shit out of my brother by maxing out the difficulty bar each time he was away from his console, only to hear him very angerly shout ''Why the fuck does these shitty goblins hurts so much?!''
>>6266 NGL, I only saw skyrim, and it was early so they may have patched it, but I was critical that at the time you couldn't block while dual wielding. Naturally, a shield is a patrician choice for blocking, and you should be able to hold down block like you can with a shield; it should be a half-second parry or some shit, but still.

I might go visit QA and request a QoL improvement for namefags. lol. Maybe have a place in the options to have a global or board name option to fill out. Or just a thread one would be ideal, I don't like to namefag outside of this thread. OR have the name stay in the field after refreshing...any of those would be an improvement. It would be better then to have to put in my name again every post. I won't go to QA but I will post here... x.x
>>6324 How'd the crypto thing you were doing a while back go? I remember you were telling me about it like 3 years ago when I was barely getting started with my homeless drifter adventure when I was squatting that house in 5th ward houston.
>>6326 It went well, I haven't done anything with crypto since. It was nice tho. It was a lot of fun. A lot of the crypto bros have the same energy as we do.
>>6329 yea it's probably a setting somewhere, i have been meaning to look. just been super busy preparing for spring. i don't like using a name anyways so it's not a bug its a feature
>>6330 It can be adjusted in the User Css or User Jss of the options, but the simple answer is because people would namefag (appropriately) in one thread, and then (cuz the namefag script was still active) embarrass themselves in another
>>6197 Isn't the AI thing on discord can be turned off and from what I recall was later removed. Also, is blackrock even a thing now? No offence, but bitching about 'em as like bitching about Tencent these days.
>>6408 Problem I'd say in some cases with discord, it feels like the guys behind it cannot pick what the community wants (and the community itself cannot decided even), so with each update they throw shit at the wall and see what sticks.
>>6429 I mean, haven't other game companies been grabbing UE5 because you can hire some schmucks of the street to work with it. Heck, it was the same deal with STALKER 2, then again the devs of that game understood jack shit in the EU5 engine.
I heard you all mention you all have 3d printers. What equipment do you use? I have ventured into that world a couple years ago. I have a FDM and Resin printer since I couldn't decide which one I wanted more so I got both. A Uniformation GKTWO and a Elegoo neptune max 3. I printed more with the Neptune then the resin. It's pretty cool, I have a neat dragon I want to paint around here somewhere. Oh and I have this huge dragon project too. I can post pics of the smaller dragon. If you all are interested.
>>6587 i already broke it once due to user error. i messed up the extruder board and the hotend printing with the wrong settings for the material i was using. other than that it's been great.
>>6588 Haven't really had any problems outside of a weird clogged hot tip that I had to try to clear with cold pulls and all the regular techniques to clear it. I guess the material I use and buy is poor quality. I also use weird color changing and weird metallic FDM rolls, so its expected. The resin printer is in another breed in user errors.
Pic of a 3d resin print I have been working on. The RemBG I used was a bit aggressive but close enough.
I also have a wiggle dragon around here that was printed in some color changing material.
I plan on making some 3d prints from AI images with the 3d gen program you told me about a few months ago. I think it was a Trellis that worked for me. I was trying for weeks to get it to work before you showed me the way you do it.
>>6678 i'll post a pic of it later. basically i used meshmixer to clean up the mesh before sizing it in the slicer to fit. meshmixer is needed to fix imperfections in the trellis AI scan.
>>6715 here it is. i had to dust this bike off, since it was sitting. the guy who left it with me didn't want to pay for a new battery, so i guess it's mine now. i put one of my hoverboard batteries in it. it has half the amps so it will only go about 8 miles on a charge.
Even if 4chan is back, I've missed my /b/ronies brother way too much now I that I know they are here. I think... I'm ready to move on, this music reflect the feeling of this pivotal moment. I'll stick around now, I won't lose my frens again but I've also meet another amazing frens group, my hearth is split in two and there is no right answers to whom I should stay in touch the most.
I keep having bizarre dreams involving ponies where they shift shape with strange alluring light and form, like a kaleidoscopic fractal light, it's peaceful and serene with wind noises and a very bright sun on an ethereal miasma of sparkling water.
>>6744 >>6742 thank you, feels good to finally be in a place I can call home now.
>>6852 What resolution 3d printer is it? What specs? What brand? Anything besides the most basic info...or better yet just post a specimen you printed (unpainted) and let me guess. :3
>>6861 I should probably get a 3D printer so I can patch or replace the plastic parts on my car that have turned brittle with age. I also have a Betamax deck that could use a new threading ring.
>>6868 just make sure you print in a heat resistant material that can survive the scorched texas desert. i've printed a new red badge for my truck, but i haven't mounted it yet.
we post MP3s here. oh boy. i recently uncovered an ancient cache of vocaroo files. people used to post these all the time. this one was saved 11 years ago.
>>6890 can you enlighten me as to what was going on in all of these? there's a bunch that are just dead air and what sounds like cans rattling around with interspersed explosions.
>>6936 NGL if I was standing behind someone at the store and I heard that noise and they whip out their phone I'm clenching my bible and reciting some verses
>>6938 I try to avoid clopping for as long as I can, so that when I see a pony pic I can't ignore I'll be like "Okay, it's been like 2 months". AI kun beat me today with his bat pictures
>>6941 i had a super awkward moment with a mexican wrecking yard attendant when he was trying to pull a dashboard insert from an s10 for me, and we were both in the cramped cab of the truck together when it went off. and he ended up ruining that insert because he didn't know to disconnect the shift linkage to move the shifter without a key so the insert can get past the shifter.
>>6959 It's fine, I'm just trying to determine the nuance of your position. You are speaking clearly, but the things you leave unsaid can be relevant too
this part of the thread is brought to you by the pork rind awareness council, who reminds you that the most succulent part of the pig is and will always be the the rind.
the admiral eventually got banned for posting a pony image bait thread. he evaded and expressed indignance that his wasn't a "real" pony thread because he had done it as an act of trolling. he was rewarded with the highest possible honor a mod could give, another ban.
It reminds me of the thing I wrote a while back. I won't bore you with the details, but I did some math on the rates of communication and relative population sizes between the pony community and an old medieval kingdom to determine the relative number of years that the community went through in terms of a medieval kingdom in terms of correspondance and communication. The outcome, back in 2023, was somewhere between 480 and 768.years worth of a medieval kingdom's dialgoue.
>>6728 That looks nice, needs a rattle can paint job and its a 100% success and looks exactly like the part for 1/1000th the price. Good job, and thanks for sharing.
>>7151 i like it better than the stock ones. those didn't follow the curve of the wheel. despite the bike frame itself having a similar curve. chink design is weird.
update, the mod who relentlessly stalked and banned us like he was actually paid for it has let the world know that top men are working on the problem.
i would have loved to be a fly on the wall for the impassioned debate that no doubt took place over whether or not to keep the secure trip function. i bet it was quite the arm twist to get that taken off.
>>7207 How much do you want to bet they're gonna do all of this and it's going to be rendered pointless immediately because one of their own was in on it and they didn't realize that?
>>7323 It's hard to trust the site if the soyjaks are still infiltrating There's a chance they may wait for a year or two, harvesting behind the scenes, before striking again
>>7329 Well, that's one of the things that makes Mlpol so insular, is not only does everyone on staff know eachother, but with 1 exception (and he was a year later) everyone has been here from the beginning. Before Mlpol The Denver Broncos raided /qa/ even
It was on this site that we decided to adopt the image of the Denver Broncos. I voted Carebears, but using cutie marks as emblems, but that was out voted, and with good reason I see in retrospect. >>7335 >>7336 I can't take credit, I joined staff 2 weeks after the 1 year guy, I was just a very enthusiastic poster. Atlas used to do bi-monthly audio streams in those days, and most of the week had certain topical streams. Philosophy on monday (/ub/-related), tuesday was western animation (Boondocks, stuff like that), wed was /mlp/, and friday was movie night. This was back when rabb.it was a thing, and anyone could stream from a virtual Linux desktop
