When is GM coming back
>>21403"That's... not how it works"
>>21404Hours. You need to talk to Trollestia
>>21404Not for a while, I think..
I g2g for now.
>>21406"It isnt? Didnt it work on tracy?"
>>21405Time zone?
>>21406You need talk to your wife
Implying Torc wouldn't get raped again for Trollestia to assert dominence over Tay>>21407Bye
>>21408"It made her corrupt... less sociable. Not good by any means. I don't think we've seen the last of that, more is coming. But in any case, when the Golden lady shut out infernals, she shut out most of the Jew powers. So Tracy's feat could not be replicated now"
>>21409Which one?
I guess I'll talk to Trollestia then
>>21411Yes.
\r
>>21412Grumblng "I'll feckin do it ye shit stained cunt"
>>21414Well, you don't really have to, you're just more likely to be forgiven that way
>>21410"Im more charismatic than her it will most likely just give me a bit nore charm"
>>21409>>21413I know i will
>pic related. >>21416"Well, there are a lot of Jews in the Media. Maybe becoming part Jewish will help you in that regard. But I'm afraid it could just cause your nose to grow and ruin your beautiful face. Or maybe it will cause you to be in part a puppet of the Master Jew beyond this dimension. It could also cause you to lose your Eugenic Nazi powers. At least I think you have Eugenic Nazi powers."
>raping TourcilKek >>21417"Im a celestial Aryan my nose cant grow."
>>21418"But if you are a celestial Aryan, then how can you also become part Jewish?"
>>21419"Im in it for the infernal powers "
>>21420"Same thing. How can you have both without the one corrupting the other?"
>>21421"I want to see what happens"
>>21422"Well, the Golden Lady did a much more thorough job of banishing infernals and infernal powers from this dimension the second time around than the first, so my guess is not much"
>>21423There's also recreational use. Really of a way to dispose of the remains.
>>21424Place it in a pool of acid
>>21423"Maybe she can do to me what she did to thez, can you summon her for me?"
>>21426"If I could summon the Golden Lady I would. But remember that Thez was under a curse. She had a geas placed on her. I don't think that would be pleasant for you"
>>21428Yes.
You can also go feed it to your dog, the one that you created
>>21427"Can you help me get her attention some how?"
>>21430"If we can figure out how, yes. I want her help"
>>21429>Feed to your dog>Not considering what could happen if it had the same affect on other magical beasts as it did on Tracy. You want to deal with a half-fiend Tarrasque?
>your dogI wish...
>>21432>I wishWe're not giving up on mind controlling it yet
Just Tracy can't eat it. No poisoning the child. No risking poisoning the child. No blatant disregard for the fact that what the mother eats the child does as well.
Bye faggots see you tomorrow night
>>21434*sigh*
"Ill advised, I still say, but you're not pregnant with my child, so I won't fight you the way I would and will Tracy"
>>21433All the creatures of Shadowfell are fiendish, so why would consuming fiends harm a nightmare's fetus when her body's metabolism is already adapted to preying on fiends?
>>21437Because she's a pony. Not a creature of Shadowfell. A creature of Equestria. Stop insisting that you are transracial. Second, Soros is not a fiend, he's an arch-demon. Different. Thirdly, we already know that that stuff fucks with her biology. Fourthly, you tried to use your faulty logic with the Tarrasque remains the same way I used my faulty logic with curing demonic influence with having sex with Tracy the first time. Don't take stupid risks hoping it won't go terribly wrong
>>21438not yetShe is fiendish though, she even has little horn-spikes in her mane. The her womb, only having regenerated after the blood changed her, also would've been fiendish, so it should be fine, medically.
Also, I don't want to stop.
>>21441No turning the child into a devil. And if she herself is a devil, she will not be a waifu. Cease and desist.
>>21440I never thought the Tarrasque thing would work (I'm not THAT greedy). I just wanted to keeps some of it anyway. Also, monster jerky.
>>21444That just proves why your approach is bad.
When did GM say he'd be back?
>>21446Look up in the chat just a few posts. Inferius says 10:30 PM. It's only 9:50 PM EST, so that's a while from now
>>21447I might just go to bed then.
>>21450
i dont know if i can stay awake much longer entertain me trump.
>>21451So... now that your mission to the NEP has been delayed, what are you most interested in?
>>21452forging the sun blades and helping you bring back the pirates.
>>21453Now that we can do. The major limitation is the number of times we can cast "calm emotions." I think that can be done on a large group, so it may be best to take several at once, restrain them, and then cast the spell on the group, and try to talk them down as a group. Otherwise, this would take days between two people casting it. If it did have to be one at a time, it would take at least a week to get through all of them
>>21454the group idea is good we should probably seal the door someway too when we do it.
>>21454i can cast calm emotions 6 times a day.
Kek, that's a good idea
>>21456Damn. That's pretty useful, along with the ability to grapple. With that many casts in a day we could do one by one in just three days, or possibly all in one day if we can do groups. The challenge to a group is to restrain them all.
What do you think about trying Korak?
>>21456You could also use Symbol of Persuasion to charm them all using a giant swastika.
*goes back to bed*
>>21457we can but hes not gonna be happy.
>>21459True. He'd have to accept that we're not giving him his ship back, his crew, his various personal items, the unicorn, or the elves. That's actually quite a lot
>>21460I guess it's possible to return control of the ship and crew and have them contracted under him, but that seems kind of dangerous
>>21460we could offer him a possible spot on the team.
>>21461thats just asking for trouble.
>>21462We could try that. We'd need to promise lot's of profit, but there probably will be
>>21463True
GM, just to be absolutely crystal clear, I had intended on Port Barry running a highly negative balance of payments with a vastly increased quantity of imports not compensated for by an increase in exports. i.e., building materials are purchased abroad. That way, the effect of inflation is distributed upon the global economy, and not the local economy of Port Barry
>>21472i think i might start carrying an iron maiden.
>>21475its not on there but im gonna craft a masterwork one and get it enchanted with inflict critical wounds.
>>21476and then grapple enimeies and throw em in the iron maiden.
>>21476Like... are you gonna grapple people and put them in the iron maiden, which I guess you'll carry around on a horse?
>>21478im probabbly stong enough to carry it on me, or i could get a bag of holding.
I'm gonna read through all this shit b4 replying
>>21308"Another present? You're up to something,...."
>>21334No, Tracy got shot cuz she didn't roll for the attack, and when I did for her it was a 1 (with a -4 modifier for lack of proficiency). She's lucky I didn't have it hit her in the neck.
>>21336>>21337Check on the football
>>21346I was sorely tempted, I assure you
>>21371Now when you say "runs off with sausage", do you,... nevermind
>>21390Not true, you can grapple or sunder. Say a wizard has a medallion you wanna snatch from his person, that would also be a grapple.
>>21418Try me
>>21453I've been meaning to ask, where
exactly did Infernius first hear about a Sun Blade?
>>21472And why do you think I (Thez rather) put a jew in charge of monetary exchange?
I wish I could share all the keks and what-not that I'm not allowed to say/shit-post (as GM) but fucking christ, you guys are the best.
>>21480The only really interesting thing is a fight that broke out between characters. Tay is now out of bullets. Also Trumpaladin and Tracy are on a break in their relationship... again.
>>21481>where exactly did Infernius first hear about a Sun Blade?the picture books in trumps libary
>>21483Good answer! You won't get nerfed for that one!
>>21482Oh, I read it (twice). That knight Ocho shit was
hilarious >>21481>Check on the FootballMotherfucker
>I was sorely tempted, I assure youPlease do it next time he does something stupid
>Try mePlease do it
>a jew in charge of monetary exchangeSo no issue with finance or monetary policy thus far
>I wish I could share all the keks and what-not that I'm not allowed to say/shit-post (as GM) but fucking christ, you guys are the bestReally? Cause I feel like a parent trying to keep their children from drinking bleach or swallowing pennies
For future reference (if player are bored or have time, or don't wanna get nerfed) I'd like to suggest the following videos.
https://youtu.be/xZyDmfQuNNAhttps://youtu.be/e6A1M9BU51A>>21484what can me say, me faggot a quick guy.
>>21485Technically, I could have had Tracy wander right into the Terrasque and just get eated, but that would have been more troublesome than I was willing to commit to.
At that time.>Monetary policyNope, that was explicitly part of the contract that Ben agreed to. The town is welcome to utilize resources, and exchange them as normal, so long as there is no egregious affects to the immediate economy nor to the general supply and demand with regards to trade and inter-factional relations.
>>21487Yeah he do
>>21489"Hello, my name is Infernius' faggot, and I are roleplay."
"Hello faggot"
>>21490basically yeah.
>>21481"you my queen ana you deserve best stuff."
>>21491i haven't had any dreams about this yet,its a bit dificult for me to drop character. >>21492Inferius, all I want to ask from you is the next time Tracy tries to eat weird shit to poison the child, you grapple it first.
>>21491I'd love to have dreams about game,....
>>21492"Okay, I'll accept that. Please don't put yourself out about it though. Friends and,... well,... (doe eyes) I can do without things, if it means keeping those who are important to me."
>>21495i dont wanna be nerfed my man.
>>21496"even if thing could kill terasque and free everyone?"
>>21497Oh please, you'll only get nerfed for egregious Meta-gaming at this point
>>21498But we already killed the Terrasque and freed everyone...
>>21500then why are we still here?
>>21502Yeah That's kind of what I thought. I guess the answer is because the characters are still dead in their original dimension?
>>21498Thez seriously ponders the thought of freeing everyone.
"I hadn't thought of that. In all the hurry of sealing the Terrasque, I had forgotten about the legend of other realms that might be possible
through it," she darts a look at Infernius for a moment, but continues thinking.
"I wonder what possibilities might now lie in the Football."
>>21504"we go look at football?"
She continues. "What if the 'classic' approach to defeating the Terrasque were flawed? Or perhaps, were the only conceivable way of mitigating the danger? What if there was more to it than just sealing it away to be unleashed eventually at a later date?"
>>21506"then if that way flawed maybe a voidstone could kill."
>>21505"I think that's a good idea,....
>>21503"Trump, what say you?"
>>21507"I'm not certain he did. Remember when he first attacked, he spoke to it like a companion, rather than a dictator. I almost think he may have - crazy as it sounds - made
friends with it."
>>21509but Trumpaladin is presumably in the Tower having just fought with Tracy and argued with Tay..."Well, he also drained the life force from it. That didn't seem very friendly"
>>21508"I still think your plan is stupid, but yeah, that could kill one"
>>21510"uh well it make things it touch go away, me origanaly think me find way to stop from doing that and make ana ting with stone."
>>21512Nice pali
Thez is speaking to Trump, but her eyes are all daggers at Infernius.
"I mean, what do you think about the possibility that perhaps sealing the Terrasque might not have been the 'correct' method, especially with the prospect of liberating all involved to go back to and about their previous lives,"
>In the towerThen that's where we're all at. It's a little late to stall the dialogue.
>>21513"A voidstone doesn't just make things 'go away', they cease to exist. If I or you touched a voidstone, we would no longer
be. As in, no resurrection, no revive,
not even the memory of our existence to those who have known us. All traces would vanish, leaving only the sensation that something has been forgotten. I'll ask you now never to even suggest such a thing. You weren't,... you were weren't you?"
[1d20 = 3]
T> sense motive
>>21515"i ask ben about a stone more rare than a diamond he tell me it make nice ring."
>>21516"My cat? Tracy? What?"
>>21515"Do you mean to suggest that we should have annihilated it, or that we should have been diplomatic with it?"
>>21520"you know the lizard-cat wasn't "fat?" its name?"
>>21520"I don't know. The Terrasque is eternal, and vastly incomprehensible. Perhaps there is more to it than just a monster to be subdued is what I'm thinking. I mean, the legends had to have come from
somewhere, and many legends have a foot-hold in truth."
>>21519Thez mutters something about trusting Jews.
"Its true that they're more rare, but I'll tell you this," her voice grows quieter and more somber.
"I don't know whom I've forgotten to the Voidstone plains. I literally can't tell you more than that, though I desperately wish I could."
>>21522"thez you honestly think me would want to forget you? *infernuis tears up* me love you!"
>>21523>forget"No I don't. But you may be right. Perhaps total annihilation is what is necessary, at least as far as escaping this,... existence."
>>21521"Oh, you mean Fae. What do you want me to ask her?"
>>21522"How exactly was it that the tarrasque was keeping us here? I'm guessing it's not a coincidence that when it was sealed, it took the form of a football. Is, perhaps, the tarrasque Providence itself? That is to say, the avatar of Providence?"
>>21524"if we escape we still be together?"
>>21525"ask about terasque she know about football right?"
>>21527"But of course she knows about Football. I hadn't thought to ask her. Do you want me to ask her now?"
>>21529"then me say the teraasque stay sealed."
>>21529"Well, in any event, I can say that I feel like it is nothing less than Providence forcing us here. If that is true, there is no escape, and that is that"
>>21530"No, It couldn't hurt to ask," she says quietly.
>>21531"I agree."
>>21532"Ana *infernuis says while walking towards thez* me would rather be erased from existance than exist without you."
>>21532"So... Where do we go from here?"
>>21534I'd like to carry on with the plot exploration, but,...
Thez runs forward and buries her face in Infernius' chest. "I know alright!? I knew all along about your plan with the Negative Energy Plane! I heard all about it from Ponimaru, when you were talking to Ben! I,... I know. I just,... <many sniffs and sobs> it may be - probably is - the best way. Just,... take me with you. Don't run off,...."
>>21537"only if you promise not to sacrifice yourself again!!"
>>21539"weirdly enough, it seems to have worked out in the end. She was - you were - liberated from the infernal nature placed upon her - you"
>>21539Holy shit, you've got her with that one! One! OH!
Thez is stunned by that. COMPLETELY unable to respond.
She stiffens her lip.
"I promise." tears flow no homo unabashedly.
>>21539>>21543"I wish I could experience love like that..."
GM mutters something about making a lengthy post in the Tulpa thread
>>21543"good"
*kisses lovingly and wipes away her tears*
>>21544"try showing a little affection to Tracy"
>>21547"I did try. I've tried several times. Never rewarded."
>>21548GM interjects.
"In my experience, its not a matter of finding the one that is right for
you, its about learning to be the right one for someone
else."
>>21549"I don't think my personality makes me well suited for love then"
>>21551You doubt yourself? Then you are a fool. I don't say that dismissively, I say that respectfully. I'll put that one on the back-burner.
>>21551"it not so hard ou just gotta put yourself in their shoes"
Tl;dr This thread is ALL about romance, in one shape or another. The potential for one is likewise for all. Different shapes, different forms. Shush now.
"So then, a voidstone. Its not exactly something one can 'pick up and carry around', nor 'put in a jar and leave it'".
>>21554"me have enough faith in hitler to protect me he has all my life."
>>21555"You'll need more than faith. Voidstones are drawn to sentient life, but cannot be controlled by them. The physics behind them are unknown, but they naturally move toward whatever consciousness is in their surroundings. It is almost as though,..." she thinks for a moment, "almost like they are seeking consciousness themselves."
"... like an awareness that is devoid of consciousness, which otherwise seeks it!" she exclaims as though onto something not otherwise described.
She kisses Infernius fully openly, longingly, prolongedly, lastingly, sincerely, fervently,... need I go on?
"You delightful genius! A voidstone is a life!"
GM interjects
I didn't plan that, I didn't script any of this, and I take no responsibility.
>>21558"me smartest man in port barry!!"
>>21560Believe what you want, I had a
whole different set of circumstances and agenda. This is all literally serendipity. BTW, I never mention inorganics did I?
>>21562i bet you never thought this
>>1870 →would lead to this
>>21562 >>21563Marvelous point.

Deliberately avoiding accusations of faggotry et alI thought this was-just/might-be going to be a fun game.

>>21567i gotta go to sleep guys see you tommorow.
>>21567And she (Fae) did smile, knowing (in as much as she could) what would (will) result of what has transpired (again, inasmuch as she could), almost as though her vigil had satisfied something she had kept unspoken.

>>21566>Fae has basic social etiquetteHow dare she
>>21569Fae, why you betray me like this?
>>21570GM grabs the pot from the back-burner.
So are we talking literally, or in-game here?
>>21551 >>21571I put all of my characters dialogue in quotes.
>>21572I thought I was talking to Trump with that,....
>>21547"It's the same pattern for weeks now, everyday. I do something nice to her, or we share a nice moment, and then she betrays my trust quickly. We share a moment when the mechanics come and the cores 'vanish.' We share a night and then she vanishes from my arms. Now I heal her in the shooting range and have nice moments, just for her to try yet again to poison her child. This is every day. Every time I think have moved forward, I am pulled right back. Do you not see the obvious insanity in doing the same thing again and again and expecting different results?"
>>21558"Forgive me, but what is the purpose of talking of void stones? So a certain something far away is alive. Why do we care? There are so many alive things far closer that are of more concern."
>>21571Just remarks. If I intended it to be in game, I would have put it in quotations
>>21575Aren't Infernius and Thez still at the fight club?
>>21575>voidstonesNevermind that, just an inspiration for a plot device
>remarksHmmmmm
>>21576IDFK anymore
>>21579
What was the name of that fictional serial killer (fictional, I think) who'd put a horse's head his victim's bed's to intimidate them?
>>21575All I can really say is that if someone were to have told me where I would find my girl (
not Thez) I would have laughed at them and not believed them.
>>21580I thought that was an Al Capone thing.
>>21580The only thing that really comes to mind is the scene in the Godfather when a crime boss kills the prized racing mare of some man and places the severed head in the person's bed to emphasize that he better accept his offer
>>21583
... and I'd been in my job for 5 years when we met. Sounds like a plan.
>>21587IKR? Life happens when you least expect it.
>>21581>Al CaponeAh, now I remember. It was from The Godfather. I could look up the inspirations for that scene as thematics for Tracy's Nithing poles.
>>21590Sorry, didn't see it.
It's funny, because it so similar to the Nordic ritual to curse a person's household to death. It might have been inspired off of it.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nithing_pole Tracy flips through the catalogs of magic items in the crafting booklets at the workshop, and momentarily wishes she weren't a mudpony..
>>21592Oh, like she can't ask just about anyone - NPCs even - to give her a 'hand'
kek >>21593What about scrolls? They count as spells, right?
I can't for the life of me remember what scrolls she bought in town back then (it was before the first Soros fight, I can only remember Conceal Alignment), but I think I'll have her trot down to the shop and see what's available, if she can right now.
>>21593>NPCs evenIt would also be good to Gather Information around town about any mages for hire that may have settled in Port Barry.
>>21594>scrollsI think I put the bar at 3rd level spells, but I don't recall what all was acquired either.
>magesOn that note, don't expect
too much, I'm deliberately keeping NPC ranks low just because PCs are pretty fuggin' powerful as is. Having said, the trades and skill level of NPCs (as well as the number and diversity) has increased notably. Port Barry has become quite a 'thing' in-game.
Also yes, I know this bread is hella stale. I've got some errands to run, but I'll bake a new one in an hour or so.
>>21596How does one determine how long it will take to craft an item?
>>21596Actually, I have a few NPCs I need to talk to
>>21595>mages for hireHow tragic it is that no one in your party can perform magic
>>21600I would, but crafting magic items can take quite a while, can't it? I don't want to get in anyone's way.
>>21598Depends on the item, the spells/resources/xp required, the crafting level, and how salty I am from real-life shit
its true though >>21601Difficult to say. It would depend on the person, the amount of time, and the possible benefits of the crafted item.
What are you looking to make?
>>21599As far as NPCs, I can't really think of a trades-person that wouldn't be in Port by this point. Certain skill levels will naturally be less represented, but at the least players won't have to worry about "untrained" skills.
>>21605Sure. If I don't reply right away, I'm thinking of a good answer.
>>21603Really, anything useful to Tracy (she can't really use most of what's on the list). There was a whole list of cool/useful things I wanted
(Mask of the Skull), that weren't really within plausible reach for her. The first thing I thought of to upgrade the Nithing Poles into Darkskulls, to serve as cursed mailboxes for assassination requests, and to collect payments/offerings.
For now, since levitation is a 2nd level spell, I'll have her buy the scroll at the shop and get to work on some Horseshoes of Zephyr; since those don't look expensive.
Fug it, I'm gonna go ahead and bake new bread
>>21607May as well get to work on a bow as well, not sure about enchantments yet though.
