>>40192Either Tech or 1ntr would be topical. Should this be moved there?
>>40193If OP wants it moved, we can move it. Otherwise it's fine here.
>>40194>>40193whatever seems most appropriate to you
Ah yes, they are also selling the anime with the little german loli soldier in World War 1.
>>40196Well yeah. That was one of the most popular shows on Crunchyroll.
>>40197understandable. surprised they did not put it up higher on the list next to the dragonfucker anime
paying money, for anime? that'd be like paying money for video games or music
I unironically buy anime on physical media.
>>40192Does Atlas accept steam gift cards to buy himself some anime?
>>40253server upkeep will now be paid in steam gift cards
>anime shit on Steam
>VNs rampant
>fucking unrelated software on Steam
>now fucking series
Are you shitting me? How did Steam get so fucking bad so fast? Did the influence of the jew spread so far? Might leave that show if it gets any worse.
>>40275But anon, anime is an implicit last stand of white identity.
>>40288Doesn't mean it belongs on a gaming distribution platform.
>>40288/)
>>40289write a letter of complaint to
[email protected] >>40289There is a lot of cross-over in the fandoms/communities. I don't really see a problem with it. If anything, I'm surprised it took them this long.
>>40291There's also apparently a lot of crossover between nationalism and my little pony, and I'm not marketing it either on Stormfront or Equestria Daily.
Why can't Steam be purely a gaming platform? Why does it have to be polluted with this japanese pseudo-book bullshit and even "japanese week" sales or whatever the fuck the kikes call it?
>>40292>Why does it have to be polluted with this japanese pseudo-book bullshit>Why is this large corporation doing something that makes them large amounts of money, even at the detriment of their other services? The gaming industry shits out Call of Duty clones that run on a decade old engine and charge $15 for a "DLC pack" which consists of only 4-5 maps. Are you really just now beginning to question why things are shit? It is a reflection of the consumers.
>>40293>Are you really just now beginning to question why things are shit? It is a reflection of the consumers.Really this. The industry doesn't bother to make things better , because they know most consumers will just swallow it anyway. This anime stuff is just another idea to milk a few more shekels out of the foolish goyim.
>>40293$30*
I was being too rhetoric. It's always fucking money.
>>40295What kind of shabbos goy would spend $30 on a shitty DLC?
>>40297Same kind of idiot who would spend $2000 on Train simulator DLC
>>40295Are they really fucking $30 dollars now? Fucking hell.
>>40294>The industry doesn't bother to make things better, because they know most consumers will just swallow it anywayThis is true for about every medium of entertainment. Look at the "big" movies that are coming out this summer, for example. Almost all of them are poorly thought out sequels or remakes of previous hits.
>another shit Transformers movie>another shit Pirates movie>remake of the Mummy>another shit Marvel movie>another shit DC movie>another shit Cars movie>another shit Aliens movieThe bar keeps on getting lower and lower.
>>40298And they wonder why the game industry doesn't respect its consumers at all.
From what I know the anime industry is in a pretty shitty place financially these days. Together with the overall quality decline they have problems keeping their studios afloat. They are desperately trying to get into new markets, the US American branches in particular.
That and steam has been going down the drain since 2011 when they canceled HL3. Gaben is now part of the Dark Side. Valve does not make games anymore. They have become the (((merchant))).
As far as I am concerned they should start selling porn and hentai games there already.
>>40299What's worse is that a lot of movies these days are being designed to be marketed to chinks, and the communist Chinese government has some pretty strict restrictions on what you can put in a movie.
Fuck chinks! Every single one of them!
>>40301>From what I know the anime industry is in a pretty shitty place financially these daysAlso this. Streaming/binging is sinking the anime ship, and fast. Every season there are shows with high ratings that are considered a "success", but are still canceled because their return rate just isn't high enough. For a standalone anime to be a success, it needs to MASSIVELY popular to finance itself. Even with the international success of Attack on Titan, it took the studio 3 years to get the balling rolling again because their animators are spread so thin.
>>40302a lot of movies these days are being designed to be marketed to chinks
This is also true. One recent example I can think of is the new Red Dawn remake. Originally, the "bad guys" were supposed to be Chinese. But, after learning how offended the Chinese were, the studio switched it to North Koreans. China is too big of a market to box yourself out of.
>>40302Meant to add:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Censorship_in_Chinahttp://www.scmp.com/magazines/post-magazine/arts-music/article/2076755/chinas-film-censorship-paradox-restricted-content>no government overthrow>Especially violent scenes cut out>Elements that may be offensive to chink culture forbidden>Political shit restricted>Chink villains are a no-noSince movie-makers want to have access to the enormous Chinese market, they just do whatever the Chink government tells them to, and year after year movies begin to look like they were pressed out of the same shitty mold.
Fucking chinks. They've bred at such a rate that their economy has gotten so massive that the whole world is starting to adhere to their degenerate, barbaric ways.
>>40301>From what I know the anime industry is in a pretty shitty place financially these daysWell, to be fair, %80 of their market pirates the shit anyway...
anime has become shit lately
there are maybe 1-2 shows each season worth watching anymore
>>42607What is worth watching this season? I've been out of the loop the past few months
>>42608excluding the Tanja anime this dragon thing dug up a lot of art. i am not an expert on this, there may be other good stuff worth watching. its easy to discard everything on first sight, but id rather support some random animation from nippon than some puked up Socjus shit from commiefornia.
the ones I am giving a chance are attack on titan season 2, Re:Creators, Clockwork-Planet, Sin: Nanatsu no Tanzai and Boruto
Deleted every other link after watching 1-2 episodes
not saying they are good (yet) but not so shit that they dont derserve a chance

>>43355>>43355I cant say I know a lot of the animes on this list, but the few i did saw were not particularly good. They were often boring, overly complicated or too artsy. Studio Ghibli in particular made a bad impression on me. Whoever made this list must be an Anime hipster.
>>43570>Ghibli>badThen again I mostly just watched Spirited Away and Porco Rosso. In fact, Porco Rosso is great, it's partially about depression, social exclusion and has some fine ODESSA-type feels.
>>43355>Golden BoyWhat the fuck is this doing on here, it's funny but it's basically just low-brow humor and borderline porn, there's a million just like it. If shit like this is on the list Excel Saga should also be here.
>Baccano>Berserk>Black Lagoon>Maison Ikkoku>Read or Die>Usagi Drop>Gankutsuo>Kino's Travels>Last Exile>Lain>Ergo Proxy>Welcome to the NHKGood titles, would recommend.
>Akira>Azumanga Daioh>Metropolis>Ghost in the Shell>Girl Who Leapt Through Time>Millennium Actress>Paprika>Evangelion>Steamboy>Tokyo Godfathers>Vampire Hunter D>Hellsing>Ghibli stuff>Perfect Blue>5 Centimeters, Place Promised, etc (can't remember director's name but he's famous)The "I was alive during the late 90s/early 2000s, aware of anime, and had a Blockbuster membership" starter kit.
>Big O>Bebop>FLCL>Outlaw Star>Paranoia Agent>Samurai ChamplooThis is literally the Adult Swim lineup from 2002-2005. Good shows but not exactly hidden gems that need to be pointed out to people. You forgot Inuyasha, Trigun and Lupin III.
Don't get me wrong, most of the titles on this list are good and worth watching, but it's kind of a hipster list.
>>48493Thank you for your quality review my good man.
>>48407Seems like the dragon loli got sum fuq after all. This cant be a coincidence. What a time to be alive.
