Cars today are built to fail and have gay little micro transaction plans while being expensive and difficult as fuck to own and maintain. So what is the solution, mlpol? It is not likely that people can build cars of their own by themselves but the automotive industry is actively trying to fuck people in the ass. Personally I like the idea of replacing engine parts in current cars with more reliable parts or even electric parts to avoid paying these cock suckered for maintenance.

In an attempt to make this thread somewhat related to the topic at hand. The Establishment is very quickly trying to establish EVs as the normal mode of transport in the UK, which is comical given that problems with electric vehicles (EVs) in the UK are the high upfront purchase cost and rapid depreciation, a lack of sufficient and reliable public charging infrastructure, the high cost and inconvenience of public charging compared to home charging.
This is ontop of issues involve the environmental impact of battery production and disposal, slow charging speeds, and a shortage of skilled technicians for repairs. A new battery bank for an EV costs at least three times more than buying a new EV.

There are kits for older Jeep and Ford engines to convert them to propane drive. It's cheaper and cleaner than gasoline and cuts out a lot of common points of wear in the fuel delivery and exhaust systems. Even small engines for chainsaws and scooters can run on camp cylinders.

My uncle used to own one(one of his friends was one of those big shots who, during the 1979 revolution, sold much of his property and even gave some away. This car was one of the things he gifted to his friend(my uncle) before leaving the country himself) and now my cousins rent it out as a wedding car.
