/MLPOL/ Watch Party Part 4: We Endure
The horrors persist, but so do we.
Welcome, newfags and oldfags. This is a thread about a weekly get-together some of us like to do on Fridays.
Account registration is not required.
Starting at around 7:00pm EST (8:00pm Central Time), and continuing until the end of the night.
Cytube is the current site hosting the Watch Parties, and the normal room is https://cytu.be/r/FlappyPterodactyl . This may be subject to change, so double check the announcement post in the thread.
These nights consist of going to a website with a video player and a chatroom and having a good time. The format we're using lately starts with the first hour being a series of pony animations and music. This is followed with a couple episodes of a show, then we switch over to a livestream portion for a brief intermission, followed by a series of classic shorts, followed by a movie, followed by two episodes of another show, followed by MLP episodes, then the room is usually pretty open to whatever.
The mood of the nights is “Good Vibes”, and we tend to like more classic content compared to a lot of what's on offer these days.

Hey all, sorry I didn’t post notice earlier, I meant to but I completely forgot. I am indisposed this week and won’t be able to stream. Now, since some people have started to put some things together, I think we'll do a half-potluck night. The first 30m will be my background playlist going on while people filter in, then we'll have contributions to fill out the second half of the hour. It'll be nice to see what other people pick.
This week's playlist (my half) is the regular mix of music releases ranging from Get Happy (Fallout Day 2014) by The Balefire Symphone from 8 years ago to The Same Stars by replacer 6 hours ago.
Then we get some shorts from laptop repair, a short talking about how Communism inverts merit and rewards the corrupt, and the actor behind TNG's Commander Riker talking on this show that was about various interesting things. The clips are slowed down, and he sounds pretty drunk.
Who knows what the next half hour will contain?

Farscape's next couple of episodes are a three parter. We'll run the first one here and then do a double feature of some kind next week.

Addendum: I'd forgotten about the Anniversary Stream tonight, and it looks like that's where Flappy is, so no pre-show. I will still show stuff tonight, but because of that we may have a smaller crowd. I will probably open the room up in about an hour and see who trickles in, if it's a slow night I might toss out the program and just do another fun-stuff night.
