/MLPOL/ Watch Party Part 4: We Endure
The horrors persist, but so do we.
Welcome, newfags and oldfags. This is a thread about a weekly get-together some of us like to do on Fridays.
Account registration is not required.
Starting at around 7:00pm EST (8:00pm Central Time), and continuing until the end of the night.
Cytube is the current site hosting the Watch Parties, and the normal room is https://cytu.be/r/FlappyPterodactyl . This may be subject to change, so double check the announcement post in the thread.
These nights consist of going to a website with a video player and a chatroom and having a good time. The format we're using lately starts with the first hour being a series of pony animations and music. This is followed with a couple episodes of a show, then we switch over to a livestream portion for a brief intermission, followed by a series of classic shorts, followed by a movie, followed by two episodes of another show, followed by MLP episodes, then the room is usually pretty open to whatever.
The mood of the nights is “Good Vibes”, and we tend to like more classic content compared to a lot of what's on offer these days.

There's a reason I'm not setting things up to manage actively during the night. I do my stuff, than I shut down for a few hours before going to sleep.
As an example of the brain juice running out, I had some onion rings in an air fryer to reheat for five minutes. That was who knows how long ago, and I'm juggling at least three different draws on my attention. I'm drunk at this point, so who knows what'll happen.
I'm on discord in a few chatrooms.

Hi Guys. The MLP Anniversary is on to Season 8 episode 1 now. “School Daze”. Note that we're on Anthology 7 now, and that most of the Anniversary is contemporary fan content rather than official stuff.
Regular service will resume when the Anniversary is over. Probably before next Friday.

The movie will be A Clockwork Orange, since we've watched it before, along with some oddball cartoons and fun stuff. We watched a couple episodes of Invader Zim last week and everyone seemed to enjoy that, so that will probably be on the menu.

Alright, so the anniversary stream has officially ended and we're back to our usual program tonight. However, it sounds like Flappy isn't available to do his prestream, so I'm going to try and cobble together a youtube playlist of stuff we can watch. I'll try to have that up and running in the next 30 min or so. As far as the movie portion goes, the schedule is basically the one I put together two weeks ago:

I've managed to cobble together a quickie playlist of songs and whatnot for a preshow if anyone wants to hang out for a bit before we start the movie. I'm not sure where Flappy is getting the Farscape episodes and I'm assuming he will want to save that for the next time he streams anyway, so probably no Farscape tonight.

Hey all, not sure if Flappy is streaming tonight or not, but the movie list will be up in just a moment.
Happy Nightmare Night to one and all! We have a very spoopy program for you tonight. Well, actually, it's pretty much just our regular program with a few modifications. However, since Halloween actually falls on a Friday this year, I tried to find specific Halloween episodes of things where appropriate. This means a few episodes of things are going to be shown out of sequence, but I'm assuming no one will mind all that much. Also, since we finished Jeeves and Wooster last week, I queued up some old Halloween specials to watch in that time slot. Pretty sure we've watched both of them already, but they're classics.
