The other outcome is that the protests will die out by themselves, and we go back to status quo.
tl;dr; I think we will end up in status quo either way.

I hope these protestors manage to make a difference, because for them the cost of failure is too high to stop now.
>>240044They won't. Governments represent the elites, in this case the chinese oligarchs, and the only method known to work against this kind of garbage is to hit their monetary interests, no other way will bring them to negotiate or retreat. The protestors are "demonstrating" instead of to squeeze the government's artery.

>>240896Reminder that supporting some glow in the dark color revolution in China is worse than Chinese communism.
>>240896>>240901It's across the world and really should be thought of in a light of whatever's advantageous for us. Out of principle, I oppose American intervention against China but I also oppose Chinese intervention in Hong Kong. It's hard not to like a movement who's putting Pepe back in open political discourse as a symbol against tyranny.
Western people are bound to think of the HK protesters favorably. Rather than fruitlessly try to paint China as the "good guys" (because only tankies think so), redpill them on how the protesters are not "for democracy" but for a more libertarian society that can only come about through free markets, and how this was the singular strength of Hong Kong for all this time.
Let me lay it down for all you crackers.
1. What does the Kong Konger's think:
Hong Kong is made up of many parts, including the main Hong Kong island. Where are the protests? Only in the Hong Kong Island, and *no where else*. The majority of Hong Kong dislike the protests, but they aren't reluctant to stop it. Why such an attitude? The HK people prefer stability and their familiar rule of law, but there is also nothing wrong with making noise and asking for more, nothing could come less of such protests.
They are already used to imperial rule from people appointed from Britain, now it is just a change in where the leadership comes from. The HK people *never* had democracy, and they are used to it.
They live in their security of the "One Country Two Systems" policy, which may be encroached upon depending on who you ask.
2. What does the serious smart(TM) non-hostile(TM) CCP(TM) people think:
You would be surprised, but not everyone from mainland is a raging commie wanting to give you liberation. Those who really sit down and consider the delicate interaction that the HK people and the mainlanders have, are in very much of a bind.
China want's to keep its gem of Hong Kong. Hong Kong is China's portal to the world, the current place still with the free trade agreements with the rest of the global community. This existence via the current rule of law is through "One Country Two Systems" where it dictates that HK is treated differently than the rest of China. (is the differential treatment becoming worse? Thats a different problem we can talk about late.)
The mainlanders actually really seriously, do not want to drive in to HK. Why? This will set a precedent of what this "One Country Two Systems" really means; it would mean that they will bloody drive the PLA into the region. It would disgrace, what it means whenever the mainland suggest the "One Country Two Systems" rule. By driving Military tanks into HK, they would have destroyed the few laws and societal arrangements that they want to accomplish to somehow prove they are an effective ruling nation.
It is no surprise that the mainland would accuse of foreign intervention.
3. Taiwan perspective:
What does this has to do with Taiwan? Well, we have a deal with china that is verbally different from the "One Country Two Systems," called the "One China Policy." This policy is a special one, and frankly, no one knows what it is, similar to how the two systems policy started out. In a way, the two systems policy is a 'what if' scenario for the taiwanese people. Whatever happens to the two systems policy, is in a way, something that could happen to us.
The KMT in Taiwan does not want bad things to happen to the two systems policy. They prefer to keep the future clear in the sense that the two systems shouldn't to be effecting Taiwan(ROC). If the mainland did anything terrible to the HK people, it could be a hint that they can treat Taiwan also poorly too.
On the other side of the isle, you have the DPP, who would just love to have mainland china drive the tanks over into HK, so that they can create a new nation called "Taiwan". The student protestors that caused the violent conflicts in the Kong Kong Islands (don't worry, the protests in other regions are peaceful), recently asked Taiwan to change its refugee bill. The DPP would be ecstatic if they can get the leader of the student protest, Alex Chow Yong-kang to come to speak and spread more fear in Taiwan.
The DPP members never even thought that it would be the thugs and triads that would come over, or the people that have infiltrated the HK student movement, to also come over to Taiwan, to sew chaos here.
4. (Perceived) American perspective:
The US bloody doesn't care jack about the HK people! HK is a great bargaining token for the US in the trade war. What mainland china has done is to try to destroy the US token in HK, by letting the protests drag out until they disperse before mainland china's national holiday of 10/1, the date where their china was created. The problem is, it has almost been 3 months, and the protests are not dying out, and without an inch backing down from the HK police force so far, there is not a lot of wiggle room for the HK government.
The extradition bill is actually very important to the US because most if not all CIA humint for the entire asia pacific region, comes from HK. Uncle Sam really does not want to loose his edge.
So the protection of their intelligence prowess is protected by NGO's like the National Endowment for Democracy (NED), and they are sewing chaos.
QA:
Q: You're against America? *le gasp*
A: Wow, Im sure CIA = U.S. and if your brain is really that small where you have to take sides on complicated matters, may God have mercy on your soul.
Q: You sound pro commie my dude.
A: Far from it, my ideal is for the CCP to realise their wrong ways and dissolve, where then the Republic Of China can come back into its rightful ruling place in China.
Q: Why are you so boring and caring about the real world consequences and not enjoying the popcorn cartoonish moral fagging battle that is presented to us on big screen tv?
A: Cus it's not your fucking life, you don't have any consequences either way. It is for those who live there though.
Q: I don't know man, you sound pretty pro CCP to me.
A: Hey, it gets nuanced when you're actually here. I'll be the first to condemn the CCP, since we actually have a huge fucking bone to pick with them, while D. Eisenhower actually approved of them, and recognised later, the PRC. So don't go criticising us about not being hard enough on shitty governments.
>>240918>more libertarian society>free markets>strength of Hong KongHit the showers, bucko. This Chinaman shit has nothing to do with us or what's good for our people outside the fact that widespread civil unrest in China empowers the jews the way this state department bullshit always does, without fail. What I see is the same people who helped prevent this nonsense in Venezuela and Iran suddenly going neocon liberation because the glowniggers decided to fold Pepe into the mix this time. Nationalists aren't pianos and it's a goddamned shame to see them being played like they are. Not being into this bald faced appropriation doesn't make us commies or commie sympathizers, and neither does being opposed to the same old jewish interventionism. I don't know if you've noticed but perpetrating this revolution garbage on Chinese soil has not been good for the trade war. It's kinda fucking with our reasonable options bigly.
UPDATE:
So far,
There has been 1100+ arrests, private recording of HK leader breaking down and saying she wants to quit, then denying it the next day saying she not abandon the position of HK leader no matter what.
Why is she so conflicted? Well because for Beijing to be able to say that they are doing a one country two systems, they have to respect the leadership of HK. But if she revealed that she has a stance publicly that isn't what Beijing wants, and also is directed by Beijing, it would fly in the face of Beijing's saying of them "respecting" HK. So thats why she acts publicly that she didn't want to leave, and that it was *HER* plan all along, nothing to do with what Beijing wants. We all know what is really happening here.
This is how the CCP kill people, through sheer power of psychological pressure and manipulation until one day, she runs through the streets naked and gets killed.
>>240901>color revolution 1. what is this phrase supposed to mean, nigger commie?
2. If the CIA/FBI actually worked in America's interests and was willing to destabilize foreign nations in an attempt to help pro-American factions take over the country, they would have already done this to Germany and the UK, two places where pro-freedom and anti-Merkel's Rapefugees and anti-EUglobohomopedomo sentiment is high.

Although they don't follow some of the specifics of NatSoc Germany's economic policy, they are state capitalists, use aggressive economic intervention to promote "stability in society" and attempt to coordinate private firms. Media promoting "degeneracy" is banned or strictly controlled as well as having a no-nonsense attitude towards crime: it's not unheard of to be placed in front of a firing squad for selling drugs or for white-collar crime.

>>246915>from the chaos only order may ariseI think most of us are aware of the cyclical nature of societies, but at the same time, what most of us are worried about is that that order will not come in our lifetimes, or that of our
possible children. We may lose all of our personal heritage before order arises once more.
Some of us already have lost our heritage by merit of being disavowed or having parents and siblings who despise their history and will never see what their ancestors did. I've lost my family line by disavowal. One of my two uncles is a race-mixer, the other is a neocon. Both parents burned the coal, one of them hates the very notion of race, the other is currently married to a highly liberal black man and seems more intent on pleasing a multiculty kike version of god than securing her heritage like I am. The only way that I will be able to secure my bloodline and heritage, is by leaving all contact with my parents and family and starting anew. It hurts, but it's the only way I know. And even that isn't a guarantee since I'm practically a kissless virgin.
I lost my virginity, but it was to a thot and I haven't dated since that, two years ago >>248712>Peaceful protest 3 of them couldn't even snatched the gun from the cop's hands, pathetic
Things might be escalating in Hong Kong, protesters shot.

But at the same time I probably wouldn't be a filthy Chinese commie goon that deserves to be shot.
>>250196>where I was surrounded by several black faced men that wished me harm that I would also shootThere is something called proportion. The bot was in company of many of others bots and the people was disarmed, however he chose to murder. I am afraid escalation and retaliation in kind will come.

> But intelligence showed there were two purposes behind the plot – one was to upgrade the power of the bombs, and the other to launch attacks at future assemblies or rallies," saiYep, makes perfect sense, "lets bomb our own rallies, that'll show 'em.
>If this keeps up, China will be virtually forced to shut down the protests - all in the name of fighting terrorism. So basically they need to invade and take control of Hong Kong to stop the Hong Kongers from hurting themselves?
Fantastic, honestly seems more like they just sent in two chinese mainlanders and paid them to bomb the rallies, only to arrest them early on for "moral justifications" for what they're about to do. Its already likely that they've been sending in provocative agents to excuse their lethal uses of force.
