Anybody have any ideas how we could subtly get /pol/ and /mlp/ fags from the merger on the website?

Fishing expeditions go something like this:
We look through /pol/ for threads likely to contain old /pol/lacks, and look for any posters lamenting the decline of /pol/.
A poster responds to them and says something along the lines of "remember the merged board where the horse fuckers scared the redditors off?"

If that gets a positive response, another poster (or the same poster) responds with something like "did you know they made their own website?" Or for less subtly and more risk, just send them a link.

Fishing expeditions using these approximate tactics have proved effective and gained us several new members.

I'm pretty sure we can get a steady influx of /mlp/ Anons just from Aryanne threads on /mlp/. Right now, I see a deficit in /pol/acks.
Also, we need to increase the board speed a bit if we want new users to stay. Make more /pol/ threads about relevant current even issues, and post in said threads with pony and/or /pol/ reaction images.

What are some other places we can find new users in addition to /pol/?
We shouldn't advertise on /pone/, /polk/, or endchan they already know of our existence. Those that want to be here will come. We won't make friends by advertising where we are not wanted.

The best place to fish by far is /pol/. There are people there who remember the merged board of April 1st, but who think the dream is long dead. They will come here if only they are made aware of this board's existence. We've been able to succeed in getting people from /pol/ before by dropping hints, the biggest problem has always been GR15.

What we need is new OC that is GR15 compliant that advertises our website and community

I'm currently working on creating some new OC and modifying some existing OC for outreach purposes. I propose we start creating and collecting OC, pastas and memes that we can use to reach out to users of /pol/, /mlp/, and other boards we deem worthy of joining our cause or who may be interested. I am going to work on creating more outreach materials like this and dropping them in this thread, or possibly creating a dedicated outreach OC thread if this starts getting too cluttered.

Anyone who wants to join in feel free to post your OC in here, and anyone not into OC creation who still wants to help out can grab anything they find here and post it anywhere they think it would reach potential new users. Let's do some fishing, /mlpol/!

Monthly Aryanne thread on 4chan /mlp/ is about to hit bump limit. Was up for a little over 2 weeks.

Hopefully that served well enough as an emissary. It had some degree of shitposting, but I think most of the nor/mlpol/acks who saw it got the message. More or less explicit hints have been dropped all throuout the thread.
