And of course I confuses resent for recent. Forgive me Twilight for I do not read oft.
Leaks? Big if true.
If true probably in news.
If not you played yourself JUDEN.
>>150242>>150242Din't save any and am still in denial.
>Is anyone (who is intelligent) still into MLP anymore? Currently yes in the future maybe
>>150257Why must they use the same characters? Can't they like come up with their own? They seem to anyway change their character radically. I mean applejack don't harvest apples anymore and twilight can't use magic anymore. (Btw who is going to be epic with magic now in the new mane six?) Why should we watch new characters in the shells of the old? It doesn't make any sense.
>>150264if you look back at G1-3 they recycle names and stuff all the time. In G3 Rainbow Dash was like Rarity in personality but name the same. Hell Cheerilee was a main character in G3. I recommend looking into the earlier Gens it is REALLY trippy!
>>150264They will also take away her title as Princess with those changes.
>>150264>>150265I get that they reuse the names and designs, but generally from what I understand they try to create unique characters for each generation that just have elements from the previous gen characters. In this case they're just taking the exact same six characters, with the same basic colors and designs, and trying to make new characters out of them. It's like a reboot but not a reboot, and it frankly doesn't make a whole lot of sense. These new designs look too similar to the originals to be believable as new characters, people are going to be coming into this series immediately comparing these characters to their G4 counterparts. If they want to create a new show then they should create a new batch of ponies from scratch, or maybe recycle some old names that haven't been seen in a while, or build a new main group with different ponies from this gen. If they want to do a reboot then they should try to make the mane 6 resemble the previous mane 6 in terms of personalities and abilities. Honestly these redesigns just look like the kind of competent but shitty fan art you expect to see on DeviantArt or Tumblr, where the comments section is full of people saying things like "you can draw well but I don't like the style you chose" or "these are good but why does Pinkie Pie have wings?"
>>150268You know why. They're deliberately trying to corrupt what was wholesome.
>>150269>>150257Fuck, seeing what they will do to poor Applejack still makes me want to cry my eyes out. And she was the most hardworking honest pony too.
>>150257Saw this. Is this all of the leaked concept designs for the fifth generation of the main/mane six? Are you really vril (you wrote about German flying saucers)?
I don't know how you got that flag. How have you been?
>>150252Got some statistics or how about an estimate? How many horse-fuckers are we talking about here?
I reckon that most "bronies" are hopeless depressive that wont amount to much, I could be wrong. But /pol/+/MLP/ fans (you guys) are a whole different creature right?
>>150272Because they're Jew (in spirit if not literally) and whatever goes against their agenda that is cultural marxism must be perverted or ended.
>>150272I'm beginning to wonder if they're not actually trying to sabotage the show and create something they know we're going to hate so we'll stop watching. The adult fandom was mostly an unexpected phenomenon and they're probably tired of having their work overanalyzed at this point. I get the impression most of the current creative team are pretty low-energy and don't really take what they're doing all that seriously. Maybe they want to just drive the adult fanbase away so they can go back to making a shit children's cartoon that they can throw on the air without it being subjected to excessive criticism.
>>150281That wouldn't be too surprising. Lauren intended the show to also be for adults from the start (although she didn't expect the adult fanbase to get so big) and valued their criticism to the point where she did an AMA on /mlp/ after she left, and said point blank that she thought the board offered some of the best criticism. Meghan McCarthy was somewhere inbetween, where she clearly aimed parts of the show to the more dedicated adult fanbase but took the younger aspects less seriously (e.g. "every little girl wants to be a princess"). Now Jim Miller actively tries to avoid fan feedback and answers most criticism/questioning with "it's a cartoon, don't think about it".
Row six is the best looking one of the new designs. My tier list goes like this: 6,2,3,4,5. Just look at pinkie and twi on row 5. I also like (irony) the fact that applejack has an obnoxious look on her face on each row except for row 1 and 6. Either grinning beacuse she is so tough and has a badass girl image to keep up or as in row 5 she looks sceptical, like somekind of critic. (yeah, this migt be a projection on my part but I base it on their plans for the new applejack.)
Row 6 Applejack is smiling and I kind of like their designs, with the exception for rainbow dash (there is just too mush going on, I think). Now even if they took the row 6 they wouldn't be
able to write it well anyway but I do like that design. It kind of is like a more detailed version of the orignal, sort of.
Also not all of these designs have their cutie mark. Will they remove that part of the world?
>>150272>>150281Yeah, seems like something they would do and changing design would make it clearer that this is not our show anymore. I woner if they will go with an ugly design in that case?
Although, they might take row six since, even though I like applejack's new desgin, it is so different from applejack's original design that we can clearly see that it is not applejac but another pony.

>>>/qa/1301 → >>150280There was some /sci/ guy that made a thread a couple of days back telling people to do a mensa IQ test.
He curved the results down to make it more comparable to accepted tests since he felt the mensa test was not reliable or too easy.
Average IQ of the board with something like 50 participants was 128.
I am connected with a many horsefuckers and by my personal estimation most are a significantly above the average.
No hard data. Sorry.
>>150473My IQ is settled at room temperature senpai, and we're talking about Celsius -not Fahrenheit here, dess.
>>150242>Niggerjack>Good vs Evil focus>Blatantly recycling characters and concepts>Complex and gaudy design for the sake of being complex and gaudyIt was never going to be good, the leaks just confirmed what many of us feared they would do. G4 is crashing and burning before their very eyes and there's very little they can do to salvage it, G5 is just an attempt to get people back on the train to spend money and advertise the franchise more. It'll turn out pretty much like the Clone Wars cartoon mixed with Steven Universe mixed with Big Mouth in a horrid abomination of liberal propaganda, corporate money grubbing and poorly realised attempts to be 'hip'.
Remember Hasbro's convention? It'll be like that, but in cartoon form.
>caring about G5
>or S8
>basing being into ponies on them
>even thinking about dropping being into pones because the show is shit now when there are so many better things available now
>>150661I've seen only 2 episodes of S8.
I've almost stopped rewatching episodes. I used to do that almost daily.
I quit (well, was banned) faggotbooru and EQD.
Shitpost /mlp/ a couple times a week.
I still look at fimfiction because its new content, but even that is disgusting me now, the literal faggots have almost completely taken over.
Every new story is mentally ill homos and trannies.
Most old stories that never finished that I liked have authors that ran off because the show is shit now.
Its pretty sad.
>>150470>I hope you have been well also.physically yes, mentally… I think we all have some work to do. I willing embrace the storm.

Any extra effort put into our show was solely responsible to our team.
>Because effort costs I guess that since people love these six characters so much Hasbro thought that keeping them was the safe choice to keep racking in the money.
>>150473Who would have thought that watching a kids show with crudely drawn gaily colored she-ponies, teaching morals would have attracted an audience with above average intelligences (if what you have said and observed is so that is).
>>150709Here is one of the most interesting thing about the MLP audience. I have a suspicion that Western cultures have developed a deep association with horses and MLP unwittingly plugged into that Western ressurgence.
>>150650By that I mean fan whomst'd not fall for political correctness.

>>150242The new MLP series is jewed shit. I will always remember MLP when it was good, I will always consider myself a real brony, I will always consider those easy-come easy-go faggots and hasbro-loving faggots Hasdrones, and I'm going to keep writing FIM until I finish the fanfics I wanted to write for it.
>he doesn't support these changes vocally to crash Hasjew into the ground
Come on, they expect two of us in the wreckage brothers, let us not disappoint.
>>150257They all look like absolute horse shit.
Also why do they fuck with AJ so much, WHAT HAS SHE DONE TO THEM?
Why does Pinkie have wings? Why is fluttershy a unicorn?

>>150671>I've almost stopped rewatching episodes. I used to do that almost daily. Wow You're hardcore.
>I quit (well, was banned) faggotbooru and EQD. I wonder what you got banned for on the derpibooru.org? Don't know much about the EQD, how does one get banned from there?
>Shitpost /mlp/ a couple times a week.Do you come here often?
>>150955Been banned from faggotbooru for: Criticizing gays, criticizing artists, and criticizing G5.
Banned from EQD for: Criticizing gays.
Should I quit fimfiction?
Been there since early 2012.
Very, very few stories that I follow actually update. Fewer still I look forward to.
Several I'm scared will go faggot like everything else.
>>150978I daresay if you have the courage and time you could try to go against the trend, promoting good content and encouraging those few content makers against giving in to (((diversity))).
>>150983Can't write for shit though.
Just feeling the depression trend because I just lost another story and just feeling the downfall of civilization, you know.
>>150985What do you mean by "lost another story"?
>>150978I use fimfiction, the place is faggoted but it has a handful of good users.
>>151124Ahh, gotcha.
Frankly, I gave up on FIMFic a while ago, and have mostly subsisted off of
>greentext ever since. Say what you will about the format, but the caustic environment of /mlp/ does wonders for quality control.
>>151128>>151124>>151065Would anyone be interested in some sort of MLPOLfic site being developed? It could probably be built to work in conjunction with this site and it could serve as a more permanent repository for non-pozzed FiM fanfics than just thread archives from here.
>>151159Depends on the effort and quality, plus the danger of disinterest growing in the community that doesn't worship at the altar of the shit-encrusted anus.
I've got a sizeable bookshelf of what I consider "Good stories" and lacking or SEVERELY diminished in faggotry.
I can't recall the last EQG story I saved.
I avoid anthro as a religion.
I downvote every goddamn faggot story I come across that rates E or T.
>>151159If you want to embark on such a project, it is better to include every other fandom as there is more demand. There are right-wing alternative platforms now, why not one for AO3 and Fanfiction? It would be nice to have Turner Diaries-style works and not garbage that normalizes homosexuality.
>>151159I would read on a right leaning fanfic sight for sure.
>>151159>>151168The best way to make something like that work - which I would totally want to see, by the way - is to start off by cross-posting between all the alternatives, including this hypothetical new site, and constantly linking to all your off-site mirrors of your work, in what I call the Styx Approach.
Then, when enough of a userbase is doing this, embrace the Microsoft E³ strategy.
Embrace: Create a site that has all the features one could want from a FIMfic competitor.
Extend: Implement extended features: permitting
>greentext, taking a strict free-speech approach, extending the umbrella to more fandoms, and more.
Extinguish: Vampirize the userbase of the competitors by continuing to implement and ratify the new, now-critical features that the competition is unwilling to implement, for purely ideological reasons.
This is one of the only ways I can see it working, that doesn't involve it simply being "that natsoc fimfic clone with uncucked mods".
>>151269I love it.
You know what else we need? A redpilled Equestria Daily. Something to draw attention to small high-quality non-sjw fics that deserve it, and provide a non-liberal viewpoint.
Horsenews doesn't really count, it's too deep into blackpilled "haha we're all retarded everything's cringey" irony.
>>151298If this was 2012, I'd be with you.
But the show is practically dead. Pointless waste of time.
Artists and authors fall off faggotbooru and fimfiction daily.
>>151168>>151171>>151197>>151269What I kind of have in mind is a generalized fiction/fanfiction site that caters to right-leaning viewpoints. It would allow users to either register a handle or post anonymously depending on preference, and would work in conjunction with most chan sites including this one. One feature I had envisioned is a thread-sync feature for green stories, where you give it a thread number and it automatically syncs updates to the story regardless of whether they're posted on the board or the site. For instance if you're writing a story in a thread you could go to the story page on the fiction site and give it the chan name and thread number, and it would automatically scrape updates from the thread and archive them on the site in case it 404s, you could also write updates on the site and they would post automatically to the thread. If you're referencing a non-existent thread maybe have it start a new one with the option of automatically posting all previous entries to save you the trouble of doing it. The auto-formatted threads would also contain a link to the site page so that the site would basically advertise itself as people use it. Some of this might not work as I'm not sure how practical it is having other sites post to chan sites, I suspect getting past bot protection and the like might be an issue. If it could be made to work though I think a lot of people would like it as it would be a good alternative to existing fanfiction sites and would allow authors to easily post stories to multiple locations.
Anyway that's the general idea I have, it's sort of in the planning stage right now.
>>151343I'm liking a lot of those ideas, though some of them seem a touch too ambitious to be practical.
In theory, the thread-syncing concept is a good one, but only from a thread to the site, and not the other way around: in that mode, it could leverage, say, a tripcode, to determine what qualifies as an update.
It's the whole 'pushing updates to the imageboard' part that seems really impractical. You're correct in that the bot protection is difficult to bypass, meaning that it likely wouldn't work on 4 or 8chan. On /mlpol/, you could probably talk with some devs to set up a kind of private-keyed API to make it work automagically like that, but again, it just sounds like more trouble than it's worth.
Now, using an /mlpol/ thread as a story's comment section, in the same manner that Disqus stands in for comment sections, I think would be a far more effective integration with an imageboard: it saves you having to code that separately, and just hands it off to a proven working medium.
As for story scraping, you should probably also implement a Pastebin scraper, kind of like the old Mulpwiki did (I'd attach the latest copy for reference, but it's a fuckhuge 350 MB RAR file)
