In Baltimare and the Equestrian Southeast, the magic of friendship has weakened, as Communists, Changeling infiltrators, Fascists, gangs, and corrupt creepy politicians threaten the city. This role play is based in large part upon the Equestria at War mod for Hearts of Iron 4, and uses D&d 3.5e mechanics.

That is why I'm considering to roll a character with backstory motivations to work for Black Hooves. Not going to copy the edgy hoers, of course. Maybe cleric or a magic class to add some nice firepower to the squad, depending on what the team needs. I understand that may complicate things since it will take time to come up with a reason to join up with the established BH lovers team. I feel like it'll take less effort than placing a reason for Iron. Especially with my lack of understanding of GM signs and Iron's ties to gang and all.
