Thus we begin the 53rd Nuts thread. There'd be more, except I've gotten lazy and won't bake until threads are ~1500 posts now.
Its an RP thread based on core D&D rules (3.5e particularly). Anyone can shitpost, comment, or play as they prefer, though making a character does require a small bit of detail.
The party is currently almost totally divided. Not on philosophical or moral grounds, they're just not in the same place at the same time. Infernius is kidnapping Trump for some reason, who was headed to check out the Sil wall, which is a concept he's only recently heard of, but will probably like.
Tracy is headed to Cardashil to stab things and (maybe) get her previous stash of knives back from.
Stix is exploring the primeval forest, intent on finding Trollestia (?), while Torcuil and Snek - when they're not attacking one another - are taking the airship to Krenshall.
Thez hasn't been seen since learning that Kefka is still (again?) alive, which she seemed most emphatically not pleased to discover.
Its mid-week, so it won't shouldn't, but probably will get hairy until later. So then, go nuts.

If she were to come across a weapon she wanted to use that she wasn't proficient in (doubtful, unarmed monk damage is uber) she'd just take the penalty rather than wasting(imo) a feat

The weapons and proficiency system - in spite of my reservations - is pretty exhaustive, where all weapons are either explicitly included in source material or fall into existing categories (a 2x4 is a club for example, even if not expressly designated)

In a technical sense, Thez existed as an unspecified and largely indeterminate entity long before being personified as a D&D character, yet it was through D&D that she was personified, by core rules and all. Her development and evolution was story-driven, so its just a matter of the rules that apply to her at various stages. She wasn't initially a monk for example, she started out as an edge-lord fighter. Her character back-story is a parallel of a variety of significant experiences that I've had, and her personality reflects those experiences (both mine and her's).
And, if you count the 0 level in Sorcerer, she's got levels in 5 classes (fighter, monk, horizon walker, shadowdancer, and sorcerer) but monk is where the bulk of her experience and ability remains.

Not much has changed with Cardishore, aside from the entrants doing their TSA lines. The city its self is an expansively tall wall apparently of a stucco-type of material. No one in line is talking to one another, and they all wear various expressions of neither trusting nor particularly giving a shit about anyone else in line. On the occasion that conversation does occur, its mostly grand-standing and ego about who is "better" or is "the next big star". The entitlement and pride is palpable.
