As one of the people alive who hasn't died, I've yet to experience anything like this. This is fairly interesting though, and would like it if any other events such as this are brought to light.
From reading books on NDEs it seems that you get greeted by a form that will best comfort you. If that's a pony, a pony will be used.

Most of us know nothing about the spirit world. If anything this inspires me to stand up tall, do the right thing, and learn deeper. We have adopted the beliefs of the times that is existential nihilism, believe it or not science, consumerism, uh and some others that I don't recall right now. We have become less spiritually oriented this board is a good example. Our ancestors knew a great deal, despite the fact that religions were made to control their and our minds, there is truth about them though it is a poisoned apple. It's been almost 2 years so my memory might fail me but, her anatomy was almost the same as the one from the show but, her colors where vivid, I could see the moonlight shine reflected on her fur, it was like a dream
Her hair did wave, smoothly.

It is interesting how you and the citation you gave both saw Luna, you not even caring much for her. I'm not so sure that one could actually do that in real life that is enter into someone's dream by astral travel. Astral travel would allow Luna to travel to any realm as long as it vibrated at the level of her spiritual development, I'm sure earth is within range. Hence you see her on the edge of exhaustion.

I died once in a car accident getting t-boned by someone running a red, experienced the accident and pain. I fully remember being unable to move in agony as I felt my warm blood all over me go cold, my vision faded to black and I blanked out. I was in this black empty abyss not really aware. I don't know how long I was there. Then I became conscious again when I heard the radio playing the song before I'd been hit. I opened my eyes and I was in my car again, it was totally fine, I was in the driver's seat stopped at a red light, at the intersection I'd just been struck at. But I was fine, I saw the car that hit me go by on a green and I fucking believe from the bottom of my heart that reality rebooted, or I jumped to a different reality or something, where I didn't die that day. Can't tell anyone IRL about this.
