The tracks appear to curve around the edge of a large bog. The ground - though moist - appears fairly well traveled both along the perimeter and leading to and from it. It seems that a variety of life uses this bog for a variety of purposes.

There are sparse, mossy covered trees, many of which have observable rot or decay, though some seem pretty solid. The area is more clear to the south-west, suggesting that it would be more hospitable to bipeds.

Upon passing and walking away from the bog, the ground slowly begins to thicken and dry. Its still mostly overgrown, but with the increasing stability the trail becomes more apparent and discernable.

Bug sounds decrease (but never cease) as along the path there appear to be edifices. Nothing particularly well-refined, but sticks tied to sticks, and the occasional hanging-mass (moss, sticks, and,... stuff?).

With Tracy and Trump's gradual and elevated approach (no contact with ground means uber-silent) they are able to determine that this is a(the) troll encampment. A central fire cooks otherwise spoiled meat, spare weapons (crude javelins and throwing axes and clubs) adorn a rack nearby, sounds of other trolls can be heard from further on.

Female trolls are bigger than male trolls and easily capable of hunting. They'll eat eachother if they have to.
