Its meta AF atm, but the last thread is sooooo stale. The Game surprisingly continues! Infernius is borderline suicidal with a stalker, Trump and Tracy finally got engaged, Torcuil is in hiding, Norfilly is eating candy, Taylor is getting praise and adoration, Alex is a statue, Yak Lee is the surprise contender in the Fight Club,... yeah so stuff.

Spurs Tracy
"Fly! Full speed! Faster! Go above tree line!"
>>27859Was the bog and the partial fish not enough of a clue? Xp
I'll wait for Tracy before continuing.
This is map of initial attack (read, acid sream)
>>27864Both, actually. I guessed it would appear ahead of us to take us on, but Black Dragons are smarter than that.
I bet at least 4 of those men are gone...
Tracy leaves a Trail of fire as she gallops.
>>27863>spur"Unf."
Fly just low enough to still scorch the Earth below.
>>27865Problematic, but we'll take the situation as is. Order to find cover of possible, and attack with ranged weapon regardless
Is this ground flamable? It's wet, but then it should still letting off methane bubbles.
Btw, THIS is why I suggested crafting a shield.
>>27867Tracy's arrows are pre-poisoned. Use those.
>>27869Black dragon got angry/hungry after we walked right through his/her territory.
>>27870Quick draws longbow, readies Tracy's arrows for a full round attack as soon as he is in range
>>27874Is there a composite?
>ask questions firstCute. Your orders are to attack immediately. Get him within sword range
The good(?) news is that only 5 have died, with only a couple other injuries (from acid, which is gnarly in and of its self).
>>27868Doubtful
>>27872More like, the hovering horse didn't stir the dragon but the laboring group did
>>27872Aww fuck, I cant believe youve done this
[3d20 = 32]>>27875Nah, circle around the rear end of the dragon (fly over water) as stealthily as possible, and get a better view first.
Then make a ride-by sneak attack on its wing (use poison)
Only he first attacjk is a sneak attack, but the Quickened blade can attack two more times after, so rolling 3d20 after the charge.
After that ride-by attack, fuck off asap.
>>27876Fae is commanded to Dragonne Roar the dragon
Unless she can use her COMMAND on Dragons, tell that one to stop for the next round
>>27876Fae is commanded to Dragonne Roar the dragon

>>27877the bad part is we cant help.
also meme wizard how do you feel about my meme?
>>27784 >>27877Eh, I expected a dragon to appear in the swamp.
>>27878Does Trumpaladin have the ride-by Feat? He can attack too, if that's the case.
>>27878"Fuck you Tracy! Those are MY men it is killing. Attack now or be released from service"

The Generals loose a volley of arrows
Fae swoops in and ROAR
[4d20 = 53]>>27883I don't know. He can smite evil with Vanderiem which does more damage. He's going to dismount next turn if the dragon doesn't start focusing on him
Shoots shoots shoots shoots arrows.
Draws Bees magic shield
>>27881>commandlol no Fae is a Magical Beast (non-dragon), and that thing easily overwhelms her hit dice.
>>27884She just did. She just didn't want to attack from the front, or stay within acid range
Tracy takes advantage of her fly speed to circle around the edge of the bog to get out of the beast's line of sight.
Activate Robe of Scintilating colors and snort out as much smoke as possible.
[2d6+2 = 11]The roar is ineffective, and 2 of the arrows stick
>>27887You still have a round before completing your first wave of contact actions
>>27887Tracy and Trumpaladin have the hit points to take the damage. The men don't. No stealth, draw it's attention
Has the Black Dragon said anything?
>>27889What I meant was, she can only command creatures with less dice, fyi.
So for context, is Tracy attempting stealth, or is she being brazen?
>>27887"Tracy, those are my men. They expect me to help them in danger and not to run or hide while they are attacked. You have 34 strength, do not be a coward. I have a mighty sword, we can do this. Cowardice will not be forgiven
>>27891She's being brazen (charging), but she's attempting to make a sneak attack from behind and damage its wing
Is it too late to say I wanted her to make the Ethereal before the end of the charge?
>>27891>>27890>>27891>>27890ATTACK ATTACK ATTACK!
It killed five men in a single round, do not give it another
>>27892>'Who are you calling a coward? Would you rather attack from the front and get melted? Try to get its wing'>>27894She hasn't wasted any time yet, we're still charging towards it.
[4d20 = 35]>>27896Can Trumpaladin shoot it with arrows at this distance? If so, volley of arrows, poison tip
>>27897Relax. It isn't even our turn yeyt. It's only because she can fly so fast that there'll be any of them left in the first place.>ignoring the fact that with a ride-by attack, you'd be on the other side of the Dragon by the end of the round*is still rushing straight towards the dragon, ready to flank it*
>'Let me get there first.'>>27898Staph. You get ONE sneak attack on a dragon, let alone a Ride-by attack. Don't fuck it up by shooting arrows.
Also, pretty sure you need a mounted combat feat to shoot while charging
Fug, I'm gonna bake a new bread. Actions r on standby
>>27899K, not dead.
GM van a make a Robbie Rotten rod?
Shoots banana peels and nets. Good for slowing and trapping, but not damage
>>27901the fellows on the mainboard don"t like my flag. kek.
>>27905That's because you were using it to troll.
>>27903If it kills someone else in the next round though, when he could have it focus on them...
He can lay hands on you and himself. The Generals can probably be Entertroned but still
>>27906i was left out of the combat i was lonely.
>>27908She isn't wasting any time: she's going straight.
Idk why you want to waste time by following the path and then end up in the Dragon's shooting range, when you have the opportunity to make a surprise attack and still end up in the same place in front of the dragon.
You don't charge dragons head-on.
>lay on handsSave it for the men. This thing is going to cover the whole swamp in acid, and it'll suck if their bodies melt.
