This game wasn't on my radar, but apparently it's doing really well. I see a lot of faggots seething because it has no niggers in it.
>>175348It's over for kikes in gayming. The chinks are unstoppable.
>>175356where does that screenshot come from? what reporting is that guy referring to?
I'd like to read how evil the devs are, but don't know anything about this game or anything related
>>175357Idk, I found it somewhere on 4chan.
>>175357>>175358I'm actually kind of wondering if this isn't some kind of publicity stunt for the game. Like they just made a normal game and then hired a PR firm to spread rumors that it was popular with white supremacists to generate fake controversy so the game gets press.
>>175360still, mainland china is not based. too much communism.
>>175361I'm not shilling for the CCP. I'm just reposting some liberal salt.
That being said, the game looks decently made. It's clearly popular for a reason.
Ok, I searched around a little. This article seems to be the origin point for the controversy:
https://archive.is/qWWXC>Feng wrote, “I want to expand my circle and hire more people, get licked until I can’t get an erection.” Several lines down, he also added, “I know, you just happen to be a little depressed. It is my honor to provide you with some comfort in the lower half of your body.” He later doubled down with a separate comment, saying that “I got wet after watching it a couple of times… the pressure in my crotch is immense!”> In one poster, a risque illustration that resembles the artwork of Austrian artist Egon Schiele is accompanied by a header that says “Mandatory self-pleasure”. In another poster that featured the rear view of a woman, the ad reads, “Don’t screw your colleagues”. In the same ad, friends with benefits were also implied as an office perk. And a third poster, featuring a dumbbell, is far more pointed, with the ad stating that “fatties should fuck off”.>Yang embarked on an extensive diatribe about how games made for women and men are completely different, due to their biological differencesBasically, it's just another case of hyper-sensitive western cat ladies getting assblasted over males behaving like normal males. That said, some of the stuff in this article is pretty funny and the game looks cool. I might have to check it out.
>>175361Give the bugmen a few more years, they'll fully embrace laissez-faire cuz it makes more money. They'll still think they're somehow communists, which even right now gives me a laugh.
>>175359I'm pretty sure they just hammered it down because they told SBI to fuck off. Urinalists started it, and retards on Twitter followed suit as usual.
Plus the Chinese gaming market is huge now. It's actually crazy how the kikes are losing this industry. Neil Drunkman got cancelled a few weeks back over his support of Israel in the Palestinian conflict. The very same people who bailed his ass all these years, turned against him.
>>175365>Plus the Chinese gaming market is huge nowYeah, especially in the gacha industry. Chinks cracked the gacha formula and actually managed to produce gacha games that can pass for real games (Genshin Impact, Honkai Star, Zenlezz Zone Zero, etc). I see pics of Chinese gacha waifus in every discord server.
Black Myth isn't a gacha game though, and it looks like it could be a 9/10 game. I guess the Chinese gaming industry should be taken seriously now.
>>175366Yeah, this one's odd for sure. Not that souls likes are even rare anymore, specially in Asia. But it's odd from china. Zenless was originally marketed as a single player, non-gacha game. But I guess they can't let go of the moneys.
>I guess the Chinese gaming industry should be taken seriously now.FromSoft, the makers and biggest players of the genre, are still struggling despite the success of Elden Ring. Most of the studio was purchased by Sony as a result. I understand From makes quality games. But let's be real here.
Falcom is a far better example of a niche company that doesn't yield to trends.
>>175369there are plenty of fantastic games from independent devs that are trend breaking these days. The first couple that come to mind is infinity:battlescape and Foxhole. Ashes of creation is coming up too, but still in development.
>>175369technically, Tenchu: Stealth Assassins is souls-like patient zero
>>175359>Like they just made a normal game and then hired a PR firm to spread rumors that it was popular with white supremacists to generate fake controversy so the game gets press.Yea, I looked at the trailer and it didn't look too interesting, but I'm not really much for these types of action games though.
>>175360>genuine seethSure, but that genuine seethe is based upon and then validated by the pr firms' trolling.
>>175380>based upon and then validated by the pr firms' trollinWhat PR form? Do you have examples of trolling?
What I was getting at, is that these games aren't exactly that profitable. Sure, it has a lot more merit than pretty much any game as a service slop or gachashit. But for all this record breaking, it probably won't top Chinese gacha's next door earnings. I think that's a way bigger threat for the western industry. Tencent alone owns like half of Epic Games.
The west has had an interesting couple weeks with Chinese gaming tho. First it was Genshin's "white-washing" Latin America and East Africa. Now this. Game awards are going to be interesting.
>>175371I only really mentioned FromSoft because that's the only legitimate reason why this game could be so popular. Because souls likes are popular right now. That and being a Chinese game, having Chinese folklore and releasing in the Chinese market. The rest was definitely Streisand's effect at play.
>>175375I'm not sure. But I think From are still the one's who carved out a place for the genre.
Just as Falcom pretty much pioneered jrpgs. On that note, Genshit gets a lot of shit for ripping off Botw. But people forget how much Zelda copied the YS series. Lacrimosa of Dana came out one year before Botw, and it's arguably still a vastly superior game compared to Tears of the kingdom. Not to mention HSR's most obvious "inspiration" came from the Trails series, and no one is bitching about it. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.
>>175601i liked the concord. although i never actually flew on it.
