Ambergriff wonders her way through the bog at night, looking for safety. Silver leads a heroic assault on the infiltrators before they can destroy the city. Both will have to wake soon...

Hopefully Spark's line will continue soon as well.

And... the door simply opens. Posey can see from the splinters of wood that the door was forced open at some point, as the locks are physically broken off, and the hinges show signs of damage. Posey looks inside to see a tiny foyer with beige walls and short on decorations. There is a hallway that goes to an opening on the far side, one door on the left, two on the right

First room on the right is a bathroom, with a sink near the door on the right, a toilet past that, and a bathtub past that, with curtains and a small window. The toilet looks both clogged and old. There is a mirror that opens to a medicine cabinet - it is clearly opened. There are items (what appear to be bandages - not used) that have fallen out and are on the floor. The sink has brown stains. The doors beneath the sink are open, and Posey has found... Bleach. Also toilet paper. No magic.

The second room appears to be a bedroom. On the far side is a window that is large enough that posey can see the school on the other side. In front of it is a bed, to the left is a night stand, and to the right is a dresser. There are clothes strewn across the floor (like a purple cloak and rubber boots). The matress is not on the bed, but leaned up next to it, and very clearly cut open. The airvents above the bed are opened. Several of the drawers from the dressers have been removed and turned upside down on the floor. A small wooden totem on the ground pings as magical.

The only room on the left is a kitchen. The doors in the kitchen are open, as are the cabinet doors. Posey can see that there is an actually rather impressive rack of herbs with more varieties than Posey has quite frankly seen in any location. There is an empty space in the wall with an electrical outlet that presumably is intended to house a refrigerator. There are a couple pots and pans, though really not many. There is tea, but worryingly, no tea pot. There is an herb grinder, and a large amount of salt. There is one bit of food which remains on the counter, which appears to be the largely smoked remains of the lower leg of an ungulate creature, complete with a hoof. Hopefully that's from a calf, or maybe a pig. Calves have only one toe, right? Right? No magic detected.

The last room, which connects to the kitchen, is evidently a living room. There is a book shelf with a large number of books, several of which have made it to the ground. There is a stand that would presumably hold a phonograph or radio. It's empty. There is a table next to the kitchen with a pair of chairs, though the chair has been moved across the room and is under an opened vent. There is a couch, though all of the cushions have been removed, and cut open. There are three windows, two look out onto the street, and another towards the school. There is a mask which resembles a crocuta. It pings as magical. There is a potted plant by the right, street-side window that seems to be... well it's hard to say what kind of plant that is, but it's not doing well. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VxwrAhBpfyA&pp=ygUPaXp6eSBwbGFudHMgZGll . The pot pings as magical.

Arcane botanica and herbalism are not Posey's field of expertise (zero ranks), but she appraises them for their value as spell components.
"Looks like she was quite the herbalist. Shame she's gone, we could've used a good balm-monger..."

Like, the dead plant and dirt, or just the pot?

The herbs are decently rare that some of them would not be found in an average grocery store, but neither are they worth their weight in silver. Like... what? 30 bits or so? Perhaps more. Hard to say.

The totem is small and thus easy to take

Basically, in each respective place, Posey would first go to the home, and from that location, go to a location that was important to the decedent, and get in conflict with those inhabiting those locations. The problems with this is that the locals, even though it's a very high crime area, are still unlikely to attack Posey without provocation or misunderstanding, which can be avoided. Further, information can be hard to come by if you don't know what you're looking for or where to look. Posey could definitely just take what she found and go home, but then what? It can be difficult to set up environments where combat could happen en masse without upsetting the status quo of the world too much. So I don't know.

I get it. I sort of expected Licorice Lament to just give me quests, maybe if just to kill people that he found inconvenient. I'm not picky when it comes to encounters.
Maybe give the cityscape urban encounter tables a look:

Posey will probably head home then. She came out here because she heard that there were mage lairs she could plunder. She'll go back and help Licorice with whatever she's summoned for.
Unless you have a better idea, that is.

I get up early for work, so I can't stay up late for this tonight. For now I guess Posey will head back, to make sure she's there before Gloomy wakes up (he's prone to night terrors).

Silver finds... a layout on a wall. It looks permanent, painted on. The building has a set off offices on each side, a courtyard with a covered walkway down the center on each side of the central third, and then the central third has a hall open to the public that itself cuts that portion in half. The sections of the transit ministry appear dedicated to different roles. The portion silver is in now seems to be the offices of a publicly owned railway company. Other portions are for Maritime Shipping, Waterways, Roads, Internal Trade, Customs, and Air Travel.

The map includes other details as inquired.

This...is not what Silver imagined at all. With the size of the building and no clue where the changelings or their bomb would be located, and he has no idea how long they have until they decide to detonate.

Does the layout show a path to reach the position of the changelings who were shooting at them, when they were across the street?

Oh dear, conducting, conducting….
One thing she knows for sure is that it must not be late. Her pocketwatch is in sync with the clock, right? She supposes that passengers need some time to board, maybe ten minutes, so if that much time is remaining she blows her whistle and shouts, "All aboard!"
