Ladies and Gentlemen! The festivities are about to begin!
What you see here is a bastardized TTRPG structured for online use. Primarily based on DnD 5e (but with LOTS of minor house rules and tweaks), what you are about to witness is a continuation of a story that began years ago, only to diminish into nothingness and ignominy.
But lo, I am a fan of closure, and so it is time for a new story. A new adventure, a new team of heroes, and a new team of villains.
That's right, this edition of Mixed Nuts features an online party (the heroes) pitted against an irl TTRPG group who will be playing the primary villains. It will be a phenomenal game of cat and mouse, with all manner of features and instances in between and surrounding.
In two days, the villain coalition will commence session one, after which the short-story/prologue/introduction post will drop, after which the game will kick off in full. Game days are intended to be 2x/ month on alternating weekend days, as works for the players and their schedules.
New players are welcome but out of necessity admissions are very restricted. If any individuals are interested in participating, they should post to this thread. Having said, one shouldn't get their Hope's up; no guarantees.
So pull up a chair, pour your favorite booz, and get comfy as all assembled attempt to kill one another, and attempt to entertain all comers throughout.

Bridget Aoife Felder d'Ghallanda, having 'served her purpose', will not be present for the remainder of this game.
>>147684Looks are deceiving. The game incorporates 2 separate parties, one live and one online. It is taking most of my free time to facilitate and run both groups, especially while accommodating and mitigating anons who's participation was dubious from the get go. Game is still ongoing, just finished a online session last night. Updates will be as available, but everything has a hard record of the sessions and the novelization of the shared storyline is going to take me quite a while.
>>147184To the contrary, Bridget just got one of her party killed because she just had to try and investigate the party's pursuers. Th eye almost made the mountain by now though.
>>147689Ashes town, FoE theme. One of the characters had a 'layover' there before session one of this campaign.
>>147690A social media account is needed.

>>147690Its the only game/character-related images I have atm, so please bear with.
As a teaser, 2 churches have been burned, several innocent ndividuals and groups have been killed, and just recently a kindly old priest got mangled along with a stagecoach team after a sabotaged carriage went off a cliffside. The villains are quite industrious and arent making things easy for the party. Still, a decrease in numbers in transit to their location does enable the hero party to travel by air, so they have the lead at the moment, while the villains prepare to interrogate (speak with dead) the party's most recent casualty.
>>147691Ashes town is not a prerequisite for this game, at least not yet. (There will be dimensional travel shenanigens later on, so it will be at the party's discretion)
>>147687>she just had to try and investigate the party's pursuersShe didn't just summon a familiar and send it in that direction? Weird.
>>147694>that direction There was no way to know which direction, only that they were coming. She did get a good look at each of them, such that scrying and divination could be attempted, but at the cost of one of her new allies, who saved her ass before going Willam Dafoe in Platoon
>>147695Whatever. What are quasits for.
>>147697I was going to say "disposable invisible flying spies", but whatever floats your boat.
>>147698Unlikely, their death domain cleric has been spamming detect good/evil as a cantrip.
>>147699Assuming the Cleric cared to concentrate on that constantly instead of any other spell, that would have only put the Quasit in danger while the rest of the party continued to whereverthefuck, as it flew 40 ft above the enemy (it's fly speed; the distance it could move in and disengage/dash in one round) in the form of a bat while invisible, observed them as long as it cared to, and either left satisfied had itself killed by attempting to get closer to read fine writing or steal something from them.
If it were killed, it could just be resummoned later.
>>147700Perhaps, and if Bridget wants to help get revenge later, that will be an option. But for now she's thoroughly entranced by the Corn since Gelders got turned into burger
>>147702I was just puzzled because I didn't exactly give anyone else permission to use Bridget, but it looks like that's going to happen anyway so whatever.
>>147703>permissionYou seem to be mistaking who is GM. Again
>>147706Anon, I really don't care. I just expected her to be killed off as soon as I left, not to just go doing uncharacteristic things. If you want to keep on playing with her even though you really don't seem to understand her, enjoy. It's not my game.
>>147707>killed offI co sided it, bit the party needs a new Gelders. And iirc you did say you wanted her to have some Yondalla pseudo-Oracle action, so ta da!
To whom it may concern:
Mixed Nuts 2 will not be appearing on this board, my apologies. I would request this thread deleted, but I doubt it will happen.
Stix is a deceitful codependent who abandons his christian morality whenever it suits him, acting self righteously throughout. He would be a narciss8st, but hes way too beta. He's also Lotus' personal flying monkey. Didnt know Lotus was a narcissist? Lol. He has an ACTUAL track record of abusing staff privileges to attack/dox/harass, and even forbid several of my online players from playing in MN2, as though he is entitled to.
Naturally, his attempts at control were ignored, but his entitlement will become an issue (again) sooner or later. But what can you expect from a prosecuting attorney? Respect for boundaries?
So I will take my business, my developing ranch, my mini hors who I was gonna make real-life mlpol memes of, my plans to hire Tara Strong and others (Sean Spicier) through Cameo.com to unknowingly voice mlpol memes, and especially my game (you're welcome for introducing some of you), and leave you all to the gradually increasing ratio of narcissists on the board with a very emphatic go fuck yourselves, especially you Lotus, Nigel, and Pupper.
>>149321Please take your anti-psychotics
>>149321Huh, I didn't see this. Must have been saged.
Was anyone even playing at this point?
Wait, is this bumplocked?
>>149570Yes, I still have players in both groups
>>149321>especially my gameNgl, this one wasn't looking very good, last I checked...
>OP requests deletion
>thread gets bumplocked instead
This is pretty gay, tbh.
Either you delete a thread or you don't. No point in half-assing it.
>>149573What about it warranted criticism?
>>149575>>149572Primarily, the fact that there was only one player from the group for this thread left who was still interested in showing up every session, or so I was told.
Not that it's any of my business though.
>>149577And what about that warrants criticism?
>>149574The report that we received from OP requested a bump lock, and so we bump locked it.
>>149578Well, that itself doesn't really warrant any criticism. I've played in fun solo adventures before. I get the feeling that it's not what you or the player really wanted though.
Again, not my business. It was just a thought that occurred after I read the post, since it almost seemed like you were uninviting the staff you mentioned to a game they weren't interested in playing in the first place.
>>149579Oh.
>>149579Technically speaking, I dont recall asking for a bumplock. I recall wanting it deleted.
But I drink alot, so it wouldnt surprise me that that part didnt hit the mark.
>>149580You mentioned hearing things from people, so there is obviously some inquiry on your part. This isnt an idle curiosity is it?
>uninviting staffWhat does staff have anything to do with anything?
>>149582The names you mentioned were staff; there is no other association.
>hearing things from people, so there is obviously some inquiry on your partI just talk to people, m8. We share
(ed?) the same group of friends. I'm not prying. I only even clicked on this thread because I was bored and decided to scroll through all of the boards. Not trying to get on your case.
>>149583And Im to interpret your asking this publically,
how exactly? It isnt as though youve never heard of DMs is it?
>Im not pryingSee above
>>149584I quite frankly don't give a fuck if it's public or private. I was bored, so I made a post. It's not like anyone else is going to click on this bumplocked thread.
>>149585Considering its raping the homepage, you never know
>>149586Nobody uses the homepage except to watch for GETs.
And what are they going to see? Some cringy exchange on one of the RP threads? Who cares.
>>149587Very well. In response to your inquiry:
Ask me in DMs
>>149588I have no inquiry. I didn't feel like DMs.
>>149326>>149325Pretty sure this is closer to ad homenim than gaslighting at this point.
>>149579>>149581May as well delete it. It's not like it's doing anyone any good.
Then again, /vx/ has ancient threads from 5 years ago, so I guess it wouldn't matter anyway.
Fyi, you can't DM someone without mutual servers.
