That's certainly cheaper than I expected, especially considering the coat. The suit is middle-of-the-line and not bespoke so it would not be very expensive, though. Amber makes sure to double-check the total from this purchase before telling it to him.

Describe the coat again? The silk dress should be the dominant inflating factor, given that it's an expensive item in the best of times, and with imports cut off and silk used for parachutes, finding it on the civilian market comes at a price

Also let's not forget that all the lingerie is also made of silk, and we know how that tends to get marked up.
