This assumes that there is zero cost to acquire study materials and books, rent/buy the property, license the staff, feed the students (how much , pay for security, insure the place, run the electricity, run the WiFi, purchase pencil/pens/paper, buy printer ink, run water, clean the facility, or any of the various costs to run a school or institution of any kind.
Heck, the micro-school would proportionally cost more, because a lot of the school's costs are offset by bulk purchases. There's a reason why micro-schools are so expensive.
But yeah, if they let kids sit in an abandoned barn in the middle of nowhere with no materials, food, water, books, or supervision, they'd have an excellent profit margin.

According to one article I found in Lithuanian, the image comes from the "Time" magazine in 2015. One of these women is indeed Merkel, but the other two are just some random friends, not the politicians the image claims they are.

The reason why is because if the opposition has low turnout, they won't even need to rig it: they'll have won legitimately by simply having more votes.
Even their ability to rig elections has limits. The harder they rig it, the more likely people are to notice. It's for that reason that winning elections is important, rigged or not, because them rigging elections that they obviously lost is the biggest way of getting people to question the system.

So vote anyway. It only takes 30 minutes of your time to delegitimize the system by forcing them to rig it. Staying home and polishing your guns accomplishes nothing.
