I think it's for being inebriated mostly, but if you're uncertain you can always make a new thread. I'd love to discuss pipe tobacco with Anons here.

I'm drunk and stoned too. What do you smoke? I make pipe parfaits using flavored cigars because I am classy.

Fluttershy, stop being silly. You can't be drunk yet, you haven't even uncorked the bottle. And I can tell that's grape juice in your glass.

was rather drunk yesterday researching fountain pens and related autism. Was lower key today with the alcohol but still decided to buy it. Bought a LAMY safari with both a medium tip and stub tip. Got a few different inks to try out too.
Never used a fountain pen before, so we'll see about the hype and fountain pen autism.
I wanted to get a Pilot fountain pen, but they don't sell replacement components for any of their stuff. Not that I plan on swapping or breaking stuff all the time, but I don't want to spend tons of money on different pens just to do a few strokes and decide if I like a nib or not.

Extra-fine for me.
I love writing with it, actually.

Some of the best autism to delve into. I got a cartridge fed fountain pen with several nibs and I like it. It even came with a cool adapter so I can draw ink from pots.
I'm practising with a disposable fountain pen, and it's so satisfying to write with. I read that outside of firms like Pilot, the Chinese make some okay knockoffs. Probably the only pens I'd use in the future - cheaper, serviceable and can be easily replaced. Not bad for writing manuscripts or field notebooks.
Have you ever explored luxury stationery? I want to write more letters, and use cool shit like wax seals and bespoke paper with whale oil impregnated into the fibres.

if I do any wax seal stuff it will be with a signet that I design and make myself, possibly unless its Octavia, can get a treble cleft easily enough to use.
I don't think I've explored much of anything for writing other than a sketchbook and set of pencils purchased years ago and have only used on a couple pages of the sketchbook. College I've used isometric graphing paper for a couple of design projects. Uh, when I was little we did a craft where we took old jeans and newspaper and made our own parchment paper from recycling those two things mixed together.

I'm actually rather sad I don't have time to practice my violin or do any pony sketches. Too busy making other things at work and at home. I do some sketching of parts or fixturing I make for work, but that is about it. A couple of the pages of my sketchbook are filled with random things and some pony from years ago, before I started making soap.

I wish I had elegant enough handwriting to justify spending money on patrician-tier pens and paper. My penmanship has not improved a bit since I was in third grade. Also, getting krunk on 2 year old apple brandy, though I should probably stop after this one since I have to work tomorrow

today I learned that drinking alcohol, as long as there are not very many carbs (like whiskey), drinking only pauses fat burning while processing the alcohol.
Got drunk a couple times while on keto, and it certainly feels like I recover much faster than not, less hangover, less morning fog. The only logical deduction is that while on keto, you can get drunk more. Berry Punch would be so proud.

>signet
I've considered using a Twilight cutie mark signet in the past. I think I would use an esoteric symbol, if only so said letters can seem markedly unique, if not somewhat foreboding.
I wouldn't be too hung up on lack of time for practising violin or otherwise. I have compatively simpler hobbies but even they foment rabbitholes and increasingly complicated timesinks all their own. You'll get there when you get there.

Currently I use bog standard notebooks and entry-level stationery, and I enjoy how pedestrian it is. I relish a lack of pretense and find pragmatic selections more appropriate. For everything else, I take pauper techniques and more rudimentary tools into account. Think rulers, slide rules and calipers for scale models. I'm not touching CAD until I think I've earned the privilege. Likewise, when the occasion merits fancy office supplies or calligraphic fonts, I'll have had plenty of practise. I encourage you to adopt a similar thought process, if only so you can start small and produce more genuine and heartfelt handwriting.
I'm not high (yet,) but later on I will be indulging in my weekly bong rips. I hope you all enjoy yourselves soon.

I got to play around with the fountain pen. Started re-learning some of the cursive letters I forgot from years of non-use. Handwriting looks pretty decent actually, better than I thought it would be.
