Well, what do you think?
Diversity killed the magic. Purity saved it.

"God Knew if he adds more races on this planet he would made more people racist"
joke aside , i don't hate season 8 that much but i know that most of the writers of older seasons were absent during the more recent seasons (8 and 9) so yeah that is why we have so many shitty and awful episodes and it clearly lacked that quality that we had before , frankly we had bad episodes before which can be subjective and my personal take on them , still not as much as season 8
but season 9 did saved it , we had better focused episodes

Hatred and fear of that which is different is the oldest and most necessary of human instincts.

Can't argue with that.

Considering that the ponies were one bad week away from summoning an unstoppable wave of ice demons that feed on hate, they probably should have gotten the whole friendship thing sorted out for themselves, before trying to force it on anyone else.

S9
Spreading rumors and such, the Trio turned the tribes against each other. The resulting disharmony allowed the windigoes to return and overrun Equestria.

The Windigoes were never real though, they were just a literary device in the ponies' folktales.

Honestly, season 9 felt like a miracle compared to season 8.
Season 8 deserves a museum exhibit called "How to ruin a successful series!"
But season 9, at least, tried to give the story a proper ending.
Of course, tons of questions were still left unanswered.
King Sombra basically turned into a magical phoenix, dying and coming back stronger every time!
And the villain trio? Turned into stone... which in mlp lore just means "Take a nap, you'll be back someday for sure!"
Now, the worst part: the Young Six.
These guys showed up out of nowhere and suddenly became the heroes!
They only had two seasons, and spent half their time sneaking out of school or losing their homework.
There was no real buildup, no deep story behind them.
Yet somehow, in the final episode, they got a fancy stained-glass window in Twilight's castle, right next to all the true legends!
And what was on it?
Them fighting some weird creature in space...
But we never found out what that creature even was, or why that event was important.
It felt like pure show off: "Look! New heroes too!"
And guess what?
The future of Equestria wasn't even about them!
It was Luster Dawn and her friends who actually carried the legacy forward.
So what were the Young Six exactly?
Just a stupid poster saying: "Diversity and friendship!"
Meanwhile, the show had already taught that lesson way better with hearth's warming eve and the pillars.
Season 9 crossed the finish line, but the Young Six felt like a football team that got a gold medal without even playing a match!

Oh nice! Hope you haven't been spoiled too much.
I definitely recommend continuing. Personally, season 4 was my favorite by far!

There is one episode you will need to prepare for, because you will cry many tears.
Or you have no soul, it goes both ways

Oh yeah, that episode really hits hard.
With all the ships mlp gave us, nothing beats a good old parents' ship.
Feels way more real and sweet...

That one episode is why all the "post season 2+" purists can fuck right off.

There are 3 distinct races of pony:
>Earth
>Pegasi
>unicorn

Just like there are 3 distinct races of people
>Caucasoid (European/white)
>Mongoloid (asian)
>Negroid (afro/black)

( Regardless of how offensive some people may find this fact; i.e mixed people or anyone who's not of these races. There are 3 primary races of people with distinct anatomical and physiological features as opposed to others (the sub races) with little variation to the uniform brown/tan skin and black they have.

More over:
Diversity is our greatest strength without it we humans as a species are more prone to extinction by pandemic for example.

Each race has their own uniqueness to them.
>Negroids and their physicality
>Asians and their ingenuity
>Whites and their creativity.

Each race is integral to this world in some way. There's reason for this diversity . We're just (((mislead and misguided))) and therefore entirely ignorant to it.

Some of your points are valid, but I would like to clarify an important distinction.
My criticism was never aimed at racial diversity itself, but rather at the forced interference with authentic cultures.
In the earlier seasons (for example, Season 1's "winter wrap up"), we saw how the different pony races had distinct abilities that complemented each other naturally. In Season 2, it was shown that these races depended on each other for survival. By Season 7, the show beautifully portrayed the cultural and civilizational differences among species while respecting their originality.
However, in Season 8, we suddenly witnessed forced integration of different species into traditions like Heart's Warming, a holiday that originated with ponies and carried a very specific meaning and history unique to them.
This is the real issue: devaluing cultures and erasing authenticity through artificial inclusion. Sadly, this mirrors the destructive trends we often see today, pushed by extreme leftist ideologies in the real world.
Furthermore, the show introduced alicorns as a symbol of unity and the combination of the three pony races’ strengths, but that does not mean individual races and their distinct identities are obsolete. Their uniqueness remains valuable.
