I'm not certain if you're being serious or not, but I read that it's ill-advised to give cats dog food and vice versa, if only because nutrient requirements will go unmet. I think you could get away with a few times if you were lazy (or desperate,) but I was told to never feed cats dog food, lest they go blind or worse. You could argue that with all the filler and otherwise ersatz materials used for pet foods that both are basically interchangeable, but I'd not risk it.

I like these too. I wish there was a mobile phone that you could purchase spare parts for and load Linux distros onto, with physical killswitches. I just did son. I anticipated this question, hence why I suggested NOiSE (the prequel to BLAME!) BLAME! itself, then the other two. Netsphere Engineer is eerily reminiscent of Lain if it were taken to its logical conclusion - it takes place well after BLAME!, as does BLAME!Squared. The last two are one-shots that give you a perspective of this world after the protagonist, Killy, embarks on his mission to salvage mankind. If all this whets your appetite, also check out Nihei's other works, like Knights of Sidonia (which became a kickass anime series, would recommend twice over as well.)

I dunno man, maybe I really am. Sometimes I think I've gone soft or have become out of touch. I'm not entirely inured to the drama you're describing, but these guys have been fairly tame. I've been in the presence of self-important namefags before, and the experience left such a bitter taste in my mouth that I promised to never treat people that way, be they anonymous or not.

Some aspie followed us over from /mlp/. He got obliterated in a debate with Northern Wind and made some big show about leaving here a couple threads ago.
