Not sure what to think. Visually it is perhaps better than I feared, but hard to tell before we get to see what it ends up as. It could have been much worse. But since they apparently will keep the, or som of the, original characters from G4 changing the visual style feels wrong. But at least it's not Cal Art.

I heard this might just be leaked, defunct concept art from 2023, so there is no need to panic yet.
Still, I think Hasbro was frustrated in making too many mane characters before because it's a screentime/marketing chore, which is why Fluttershy barely got to say anything in the movie.
They would 100% cut two of the mane characters for the sake of convenience.
The song sounds like AIslop, but Hasbro loves AI so it could still be real.
