Curious about how the rest of you found MLP
I found it through a brony on deviantart back in 2011, pirated the first full season of MLP and binge watched it

When I was in college back in 2012, I walked by a dorm room where someone put a poster of the canterlot wedding. I didn't think that much of it, it seemed to me to be on the same level as watching disney films as an adult, which seemed more or less normal. Some weeks later I was watching youtube and found a PMV of "A Complete History of the Soviet Union Through the Eyes of a Humble Worker." It was the song with a few scenes from Winter Wrap up to go with the music. Some weeks after that I was walking with a friend and mentioned the poster. He mentioned that he watched a few episodes and that it had powerpuff girls like fights, calling it "bad ass." Then Christmas night, 2012, I saw it on Netflix. I decided to watch an episode. Then two, then five. I didn't watch it for a few weeks, but then I binged all of them on winter break. When I went back to college the next semester in study abroad, I discovered that almost all of my friends were already secretly bronies.

It was Luna Eclipsed back in the day, but there have been many good ones since. Maybe Pinkie's Pride.

Good taste anon. I got to see Luna Eclipsed years later after a trip to Arizona. You really cant go wrong with a good Princess Luna episode

When I was in professional school back in 2017, a friend who figured out that I was a brony mentioned that for April Fools Day, 4chan merged the my little pony and /pol/ boards. So for the first time ever I clicked on 4chan, and what I saw was absolutely glorious. I was there on April 1, April 2, and then after the board was frozen, when the action moved to /qa/. I was there for the fights on /qa/. Then when it moved off of 4chan to other websites and ultimately to here, I came here

Yes. I've been to... well it's a decent number of cons. Last year I missed out on Hearthswarming Con, but otherwise made it to every con in the U.S., Canada, and the UK, as well as Ponycon Holland. This year I can't do as well (There are two weekends where there are cons in both the US and the UK so I can't do both) but I'm trying to go to as many as I can given work obligations.
I would say it's still reasonably big
