Yesterday I talked about the Rittenhouse case with a liberal democrat prosecutor whom I often work with as opposing counsel. I told him that I think the jury is going to hang, because there is at least one person on each side who won't give up their position. He more or less agreed with this; he thinks the jury will hang. I told him I think it's something like 2 for guilty, and 10 for acquit. He was surprised, and told me he thinks it's the other way around - 10 for guilty and 2 for acquit.

No way would they air the Maxwell trial, but the Rittenhouse verdict does mollify conservatives into thinking the justice system isn't 100% corrupt.
