https://implyingrigged.info/wiki/2021_4chan_Spring_Friendlies >The 2021 4chan Spring Friendlies will be played through the dates of April 30th May 1-2, 7-9, 14-16, 21-23 and will be played on PES 21. The friendlies season is extended by a weekend due to the absence of the spring cup.
>>308504 Doubtful, 4cc main events are expressly and explicitly 4chan boards. It's the friendlies, so maybe, but I'd pitch odds at 20% as the 4cc staff has shot down mlpol participation outside invitationals and /pol/ winning the 4cc ngl, that shit was awesome
>>308638 You remember "Fighting Is Magic", the fanmade FIM fighting game that got at EVO? Hasbro C+D'd it Then Lauren Faust offered to work with the devs to make it into its own original IP that can't be sued
>>308640 >You remember "Fighting Is Magic", the fanmade FIM fighting game that got at EVO? Unfortunately no. I'm the newest of the newfaggots when it comes to the fandom.
>Then Lauren Faust offered to work with the devs to make it into its own original IP that can't be sued Sounds pretty based.
The 4chan world cup is happening today, by the way. Second day of the group stage. Looks like /pol/ is playing a match today, and /mlp/ is taking part in a match tomorrow.
>>312377 Relax anon, this isnt the usual 4chan Cup. This year cuz reasons they opted to host the First (afaik) 4chan World Cup. With 64 teams participating in the qualifying rounds, this cup will be ongoing until mid August. There will be plenty of divegrass to be had.
>>312377 >He wants them announced not only before the game but a day before Tough crowd (ironically).
>>312383 This anon is right, though. This is the big kahuna, that was only one match of many, /pol/ is guaranteed two more games at least in the group stage and then it's only about how much we can win. The /g/ vs. /a/ game was more exciting tbdesu
They usually have some sort of other game streaming before they start up in case you're bored. This one looks like a Jap version of the plane levels from Cuphead.
>>312423 And I missed the boat hard on this one, boys. Sorry I fucked up. Got distracted. My waifuposting will be working retroactively and for future games.
>>312463 >>312463 Is that honestly a question that even needs to be asked?
There are entire witch-hunts in africa that result in the murder of hundreds randomly for fear of "penis theft". They believe that albinos contain some sort of magic elixir and will seek to harvest every last part of the unfortunate sod for use in witchcraft or casting spells. And there's a special mention for the Americanized nog as seen in the video...
>>312468 The Penis theft stuff always makes me laugh. >The uh uh uh body of the nigga uh uh uh Damn.this is next level chimp behavior. they are almost having heart attacks just reading.
1. This is not the thread to comment "hey there's spam." And for God's sake, don't give spammers attention. If a Malaysian flag poster says "they came from this site" that's obviously the lone spammer looking for some recognition. Don't reply, and definitely don't reply in the 4chan cup spring friendlies thread. If spam is a problem, make a thread about it on /qa/. Don't feed the trolls and don't derail threads to feed the trolls.
2. The 4chan Cup Spring Friendlies thread is not the thread to have a two day long flame-war about which posters you don't like with four or more people involved. I'm amazed this even needs to be said. Don't derail threads with drama.
>>313648 It is a bit of RnG, but much is also the setting of tactics and what medals to give each player, and height and a few more stats. I'm not fully sure of what all the settings are and the rules for the different settings. But there is quite a bit of testing on what tactic works against who and to be able to change tactics during game if something don't work. But there is no individual controlling of players during game that is AI vs AI. Only human interaction is the substitutes and changing tactic during game.
>>313648 >I don't understand these... The memes come to life and do battle on the divegrass, showcasing the power levels of their respective boards. It think it's Pro Evolution Soccer, the game they're playing. Forgot the modification software but it sounded pretty comprehensive to make them look like they do.
>>313690 >>313694 I think /n/ win might be a good outcome as it will take a lot for /wsg/ to win next match to get 4 points and also get better goal difference than /mlp/ if /mlp/ don't win next.
IT GOES IT GOES IT GOES IT GOES IT GOES IT GOES IT GOES IT GOES IT GOES IT GOES IT GOES IT GOES IT GOES IT GOES IT GOES IT GOES IT GOES IT GOES IT GOES IT GOES IT GOES IT GOES IT GOES IT GOES IT GOES IT GOES IT GOES IT GOES IT GOES IT GOES IT GOES IT GOES IT GOES IT GOES IT GOES IT GOES IT GOES IT GOES IT GOES IT GOES IT GOES IT GOES IT GOES IT GOES IT GOES IT GOES IT GOES IT GOES IT GOES IT GOES IT GOES IT GOES
Not sure if I should wish for a small /vr/ win or big enough /vr/ win to bet playoff between /vr/ and /jp/ (I think there is an outcome that puts them at equal score). But then again Origami is also fun I think.
/pol/ is playing tomorrow at around 4:20 Eastern. We're going to need /b/ to at least tie /g/ and /pol/ to win against /a/, so our exit from the group is by no means guaranteed, but /b/ has been doing really well and /a/ very poorly, so we've got a good shot.
>>314076 >We're going to need /b/ to at least tie /g/ Correction: we're going to need /b/ to win against /g/, and then make up for the resultant one goal difference we have with /g/. I think that should be enough. That game starts just after the next one.
this was third one, because >for free gave me "trashcan" so fuck if i know which one it was :D but that retard land for sure is more crap than /mlp/ where all of these are allowed
>>315195 >>315198 basically where thread was is ylilauta equivalent of "b", which unironically is currently infested by shills in various subjects(corona and local politics) and is sfw board where jannies seem to do wanton "this feels wrong in tip of my funny stick so its wrong", so basically fucking sad and virgin side of internet in current year
>>315331 They are playing because they got knocked out. This it the tournament for all those who didn't advance and goal is to loose, and loose big (as I understand it).
>>315406 wasn't me who made that... though I am working on a better thing that hopefully will get done by this weekend. That was found in the aryanne matrix channel posted by another anon.
coming garbage 3rd day, in pic todays teams and here are todays rules: "The Homerun Derby is a carefully selected dozen teams to see who can rack up the biggest score against /trash/ as possible. Match ends at either the full 90 or whenever /trash/ scores."
im on niggertier internet which is why my id most likely changed, which i spent 150€ for to get some connection until i can get fiber running, WHOO CAPITALISM,
also 60€ to gas to drive 250km to reach store that sold wireless connection crap on saturday and 40€ to booze to endure 360p stream, so /biz/ better deliver...AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
>>316524 Basically knowing how team works and pulling decisions from ass on fly, dumb testing only gets you at start position and is trash most likely if opponent does unexpected changes. This game was fully "our preset 3 gave us lot of blowouts in testing" Smallest thing to do when twilight and tracy died stamina wise and their accuracy went to total shittier, would had been to try cope with smaller support range for example
also if /mlp/ still does retarded "no variables" testing, meaning both teams have all green conditions and players on field are starting ones, so if derpy and burdened have difference, then all testing that happened was still made with derpy only.
>>316527 Putting in Derpy at the start of the extratime could have helped. But might also be hindsight. Not doing any changes at start of extra I think was strange. >>316528 Oh so they don't do any random condition testing.
>>316529 atleast didn't at PES 17 - 19 era, and honestly don't believe them changing their dogma. It's more rigid than fucking /a/ council, that just wakes from hibernation and shits out imaginary export
>>316529 i was second finn autist in our poleague 1-4 team and my autism there was pretty much to abolish retarded statistic testing and, >learn to PES
>>316531 Your autism in /pol/eague1-4 probably ushered /mlpol/ to the heights it is at now. Hope your autism will help keeping /mlpol/ at the level it managed to reach.
>>316534 My method pretty much is >testing, but instead of just recording stats after game, watch every game and filter out "PES moments" as those are random and cannot be affected with, then at same time try to find patterns what players tend to do and then connect them to tictacs / player stats and slowly get feeling how team works in that PES and also start to get actual clue what tictacs do. Autism was at max and got burned out after 4th run, and now middle of moving and shit temp internet so lets hope team keeps it together before it triggers my autism again.
>but in current moment i will just root for /b/ now and consume alcohol in melancholy
>>316592 True. I imagine it is like trying to be riding line for drunk driving where the police technically have to let you go but one sip more and you will overshoot the scale. So I just go on and try to reach the level where the internet starts to seam smart.
This literally is why mlp can never win again. Cuz then it would be over. Right now it are frens. In time it will be others. Winning the cup doesnt JUST mean winning the cup anymore; it also means having stopped from the third star.
Sry, drunk, but what I mean is, if mlp won then s4s (et al) wouldnt have their chance(s) to win. Everyone loses if mlp wins. Think about that. Ngl, but I think candyass knew that back when she threw totally didnt throw winter '17
