From what I know Industria is a socialist technocracy, a weird mashup that's both a megacorp and a state that develops like the E.U, expanding to other countries.
I'd dump some green about Industria stories, there's a few but like I said several times this story got a huge potential, from Orwell, Heidegger, etc. It calls itself a democracy but only selected ponies are allowed to vote, the others must fill in documents and procedure that never works.

Finally, the ponies, zebras, foals and fillies all are the ownership of the government.

now industria's "history"

after that, magic was forbidden, flying was an act of indescency, and alicorns were targeted as worldwide threats

as these words were said, the higher ponies feared of losing their status, so they started to pass the fear to the lower social classes
Boss saw how this false sense of danger started to attract more ponies, so he started to control the media to bring fear, and say that industria was the only place safe.
the country grew more, as the power of boss.
he saw how everything was perfect to be used to obtain more power that even an alicorn can't imagine, but he saw how time took a tool on his life.
his legacy was too big to be forgotten, so he choose a succesor. but no anyone. an specific pony, raised to be the heir of his twisted desire of power.
the first Boss passed away, and the second took his place.
with the knowledge of the first Boss, the second Boss started to investigate how to extend not only his power, but his life as well.
Boss through Boss, they were falling, outliving the old succesors in each dinasty
the country grew big and healthier, the walls and weaponry that protects the city is evidence of their fear and lust of power. the control of life was passed to only one pony, for the small comfort of safety.

1984 was about a dictatorship, communism and lies of regimes, Anonymous in Industria has similarities and differences. This one is a bit closer to the actual new world order going on. Kernav is a bit like Big Brother, but that's counting all the ponies in control behind her, sadly the history is badly written.

These are artworks, models or 3d compos from an artist called Nicolas Moulin, and that totally get me in the mood of making a world in a postcommunist world like this. you know, here in France there are cities with nothing but large buildings that completely eclipse the sunlight, not an ounce of grass around, only concrete, and distant smoke from factories. large empty roads, etc. it's rather an ambiance that's really supposed to be murky, and trying to put that on a sheet of paper is all some kind of job, i don't even know which medium/techniques i'm gonna use yet.
