Considering how freedom of internet is degrading constantly and is already gone in some parts of the world, what would be your backup plan for preserving the freedom of information? TOR has already become a honeypot, so what is the current best way to keep information flowing in our dystopian future?

My backup is low-tech or use of increasingly cryptic messages.
One of these days an alternative to the Internet will be created as the demand for information freedom will grow overwhelming. The hard part is getting funding and talent for the project when (((Google))) tries to soak those up.

I have several different external hard drives and storage for information that is useful,when I can I make physical copies, low tech is much harder to remove and easier to hide compared to high tech. No matter how good a hacker or data miner is, they can't hack into a piece of paper or book.

The same way it's always been preserved: decentralization. I2P, IPFS, and Zeronet are pretty good contenders for that, in descending order of non-kikery, as far as the Internet is concerned. Of course, you always have the option of pirate boxes, and good old fashioned paper, for distributing your information.

we need some new media altogether, just like the internet became a new thing since the early nineties. the good thing is, we will have peace there for 10-20 years. the bad thing is, this will be just as pozzed and controlled as the internet is now after 20+ years.

Packet radios and HAMnet will be our best bet. Just don't use it in your home and it will be damn near impossible to find out who you are.
