Commiefornia is argueably the most cancerous US state. while it would benefit the rest of the USA as a whole if California would leave, i doubt this will ever happen peacefully.

If it ever gets so far, the government of the state will immediately become illegitimate, Trump will send in the army, the rural californians will rejoin the US and the ~6 leftist city states will have to deal with the US military destroying them and everything inside the towns.
