how the hell they managed to create so much personality for each characters that actually feels so real.
if you watch any other kid shows u always see, oh let's do that thing now that we find out about today and everyone are like yeesssss!!

and character progression, every single pony had a goal and some struggles that they had to get through and at the end of the show not only they grew up and skilled but also they achieved their dreams.
