/MLPOL/ Watch Party Part 5: Don't Ask About The Fish
Nine years on, still running strong!
Welcome, newfags and oldfags. This is a thread about a weekly get-together some of us like to do on Fridays.
Account registration is not required.
Starting at around 7:00pm EST (8:00pm Central Time), and continuing until the end of the night.
Cytube is the current site hosting the Watch Parties, and the normal room is https://cytu.be/r/MLPOL-WatchParty . This may be subject to change, so double check the announcement post in the thread.
These nights consist of going to a website with a video player and a chatroom and having a good time. The format we're using starts with the first hour being a series of pony animations and music. This is followed with a couple episodes of a show, then we switch over to a livestream portion for a brief intermission, followed by a series of classic shorts, good classic tv, then a movie. This is followed by two episodes of another show, followed by MLP episodes, then the room is usually pretty open to whatever.
The mood of the nights is “Good Vibes”, and we tend to like more classic content compared to a lot of what's on offer these days.
Feel free to swing on over. The playlist for the CyTube portion is usually left running on repeat from week to week if you're overstretched on week.

Just throwing this out there: instead of crying, maybe try listening to the song. The lyric "we're not flawless, we're a work in progress" implies that the ponies are actually trying to work on themselves.
Anywho, I'm sure everyone's aware by now, but I just thought I'd post a another reminder that the next movie night will be Monday, not tonight. As the completely undemocratic lord and master of this stream and ultimate decider of films, I decree it to be so.

The first Monday Movie Night of our sessions, and we have a harvest of a lot of fresh content in it.
We'll start the evening off with a video of banquo0 doing a search on Google Play and reporting what he found, followed by music. Most of our music is from within the last two weeks, though I'd like to particularly highlight Harmony Bop's new song from just 5 days ago. “SEXIEST HORSE ALIVE (Original Song)”. I've liked their earlier sings, so I have high hopes for this.
In animation news, ForgaLorga graces us with a three and a half minute animation from 2 days ago titled “Random is Magic”. Minty Root has also released an animated teaser for Pandemonium, his next animation. I'm going to keep this in the rotation every now and then until that animation releases.
Tonight's Farscape episode is the followup from last week, when our crew went to regroup with their members who are at that archaeological dig site. The one with the ghosts begging the living to never use the something-or-other that was so significant in that area. It's got something to do with wormhole-like technology and a civilization known for maintaining peace despite living on the borders of other warlike civilizations. Last we saw, Peacekeepers marched in and took a lot of people prisoner. Crichton is being interrogated by the ranking new Peacekeeper character, too horny to stop her from getting information.
Scorpius isn't looking too good these days, and is being treated badly after being brainfucked in the aurora chair. It freaks Crichton out, it's so messed up. I heard in the interviews that they went further in recordings that didn't make the final cut.

D'Argo and Sikozu have a plan to rescue the crew from Peacekeeper imprisonment, but success depends on Crichton getting close and personal with Grayza.
