You have to realize that big number of the modern imageboard traffic comes from bots, shills, shady groups. Big number of organic users moved away from imageboards, either they were normies and just grew up, or they moved to other platforms. If you're not seeing big activity here, it's just because this one seems to be less botted maybe? I've seen botting on other altchans, and you can instantly tell it's non-organic experience, very similar to the modern 4chan experience, aka non-ideal.
