Because why bother? We saw what happened when /mlpol/ absolutely decimated the /pol/eague, what outcome would be different if /mlp/ were to do it? Far better to let other teams bloody themselves trying to get their own 3rd star and then humiliate that team, in the interest of otherwise good sportsmanship
