Musk/Trump

The Musk vs Trump fued has gone nuclear. A few examples, pic related. Trump is already in a bad position due to circumstances such as Ukraine, Iran, Gaza, and the bond market. One's opinion is that this has a high enough likelihood to severely weaken the president or force a change in power. This at a time of peril both domestically and in foreign affairs. The situation may be exploited by internal and external rivals to the US and each other. Factional power grabs and infighting domestically could lead to consequences overseas.

>Or too random and bizarre to believe?
I expected there to be a crashing out between the two of them at some point. Elon is an unstable, drug-addicted sperg, and Trump is an egotistical troll by nature. I just didn't expect it all to happen over a spending bill, or that Elon would sperg out so hard and go so far to burn the bridge between them.
>Thats the real thing that keeps people believing there is some secret motive behind what Trump does.
Formerly it was mostly the "trust the plan!" Qtards; now it's the Bluetards who think everything he does is a secret plot to take over the world.
>he is a total narcissist
Yeah, I never really contested this.
>That said, the spat with Musk might well be continuing because its useful as a distraction for Trump as things fall apart everywhere around him.
Elaborate. How are things falling apart?

In a strategic sense, that may have been the plan all along, depending on what is actually in the Epstein files. Elon doesn't care if he gets egg on his face for tweets, but he's absolutely building support for a releasing of the epstein files. And while those files MIGHT be bad for Trump, there's ZERO chance that they aren't bad for alot of other people

It looks like Elon has deleted the post about Epstein.
He's backtracking, but it's way too late now.

>Trump is either not willing or not able to deliver on the expectations created by his campaign
That doesn't necessarily mean things are falling apart. That's what every president does. The world isn't about to end because of it.
>>the consequences of not fixing these things are dire
Maybe in the long term, yeah.
>Again, the absolute state of the US right now is not the fault of President Trump, but the expectations were created that he was the genius hero who would save America and the world.
On this, I agree.

I agree with alot of your points, but you wrote alot so I'll be brief
>it's important to keep electing leaders who can deal with the situation realistically and in our favor
This point can't be overstated. Let's look at it from a basic stand-point: either Trump is doing the best he can or he's deliberately not delivering on aspects of his campaign.
Is ANYONE laboring under the delusion that EITHER end of that spectrum is WORSE than what we would be experiencing right now under Kamala?

Likely I do understimate the walloping now that you mention it. I'll keep this in mind.

Places more stable than here, preferably a veriety of options and ways to ensure it's easy for people that are close to stick together. I don't know of any countries that have geared their economies primarily around evacuation as an end goal though.
>People need to secure and reinforce their local communities and form networks of inter-connected self reliance
I doubt that's possible here. We should look into places that already have that.

There is no place to evacuate to. Have you seen Europe?
Stand your ground. If you run away there will eventually be nowhere to run to.

This is why Musk is the right leader for the new milennium. He can build rocket ships to get away from the diversity.
