About circumcision , although I'm technically myslim, i don't really have strong beliefs about it.I know that many islamic texts say it should be done. The quran itself says to follow the religion of abraham.
As far as i know , circumcision was originally a semitic cultural practice that spread to other cultures. But putting aside the religious aspect and looking at it scientifically, circumcision helps prevent infections and contamination. It probably existed in early humans because in those dirty environments, with direct contact of the genitalia to the surroundings, the foreskin protected the sensitive inner parts from injury. However, for a modern man today , the foreskin itself can cause more contamination. Surely, if human evolution by natural selection were only about speed , humans would have lost their foreskin through clothing and hygiene.
Basically,i see circumcision as a hygienic practice(like trimming body hair)that aligns well with modern scientific understanding.
Many christians also practice circumcision , not all , but a lot do. And even in turkey, there are muslims who haven't been circumcised.
In my opinion , people who oppose circumcision are just a more backward version of those who, no matter what, oppose vaccines.

2- the other person (me) is trying to end the topic and avoid further arguments , because these kinds of debates usually end in nothing but frustration , more bias , and wasted time.
