That was the last episode of the series, so it can't be that.
I think they just did it because Ashleigh Ball has been Yuri shipping them on Facebook for years.

How would they gain more profit off a show that's already ended?
Not to mention, faggots are only like ~2% of the population: not a reliable consumer base.

If Hasbro still considered G4 to be profitable, they would have just continued to make episodes of G4.

I don't get the impression Hasbro considers much of anything to be profitable these days, from what I understand it's mostly Wizards of the Coast that's keeping them afloat.

Hasbro owns a ton of IPs, none of which it treats well.
They just cut 20% of WotC's staff, and the CEO of WotC resigned not too long ago.

that's because WOTC is deep in the looting phase of destroying their brands, they went woke too and are in the process of going broke. Nobody's buying MTG anymore, nobody gives a single fuck about 5e as much as they shill critical hole

I don't even think it's the wokeness that's killing them. Their biggest competitor, Pathfinder, doesn't skip a beat with the woke stuff, but is still doing fine because the content of their games is good.
WotC is imploding because Hasbro is butchering isn't even milking them; they're butchering the cow to sell off. Their d&d books are barely worth the paper they're printed on due to the lack of content inside them, which stems from Hasbro limiting the number of full-time writers and content creators they're allowed to hire and how much content they're allowed to have per book (also they kill all of the hype ala UA playtests).
This is on top of the new trend towards AIslop that Hasbro is insisting on trying, with the AI gen'd MTG card art, the leaks that implied simplifying D&D rules to supposedly accommodate "AI DMs", and the scandal over the AI voices they wanted to put in Tell Your Tale (which got cancelled over the disagreement).

Hasbro, as an entertainment company, is completely reliant on writers and artists, but the executives at the top always seems to think they can cut the creative thinkers and content creators out of the picture, like how they fired Lauren Faust in FiM.

honestly I'd play the shit out of AI DM'd tabletop, I just wouldn't do it for the $50 a month Hasbro is going to charge for D&D Beyond Plus or whatever
