We talk about Muslim minorities in our society. This anon didn't like that Chechens achieved considerable power and exploit this power to humiliate Russians. I explain their social function as military police, since they do not have enough number and endurance for frontline service. This phrase "Chechen is strong!" considered humiliating before the war, since we occupy them in quite brutal war, but then show too much mercy. Just imagine palestinian militant, who forced famous israeli soldier to said "Palestine is strong!" on the national TV. But actually we just have fun of this whole situation. Chechen must be strong, since they are our bastion on the Caucasian border. And we want them to be strong, stronger than current generation.

here we usually have massive respect for russians and you guys have good reputation here.
but personally i feel like rus are scary, not sure if it is due to propaganda influence of hollywood and western video games.so i usually try not to joke around too much.

I can confirm. In general population there is no thought of Iran at all. Some have fun during recent war, up to 'Bomb-Bomb Tel-Aviv' mode, but there is not so much hatred towards Israeli. Typical Russian too Europe-centric and sees Middle East as some distant show. The situation with shahed drones and Iranian sweets in shops changed attitude a little, but there is no media support. And we do not have Iranian diaspora at all. Damn, we have anime-fanfiction writer from distant branch of Kim dynasty! But no Iranian literature at all. I think most of us imagine Iran as counterpart of Turkey, like North Korea vs South Korea.
But at same time military have respect towards Iran. The drones and missiles, the own energy and steel industry, the nuclear capacities, the combined efforts with Hezbollah in Syria. In military terms Iran considered as stronger and more steadfast country than Turkey and Egypt, best possible ally for north-south transport route. Finally, I myself personally, born in Russian military family in Uzbekistan, have much deeper interest to make some connections with Iranians. Iran have a place somewhere near my childish memories about Samarkand, channels and mountains. I was glad for the opportunity to talk with you both, Iranian bros, and I must said, the first thread about Israeli-Iranian war was very educative.

For what reason? Seriously speaking, as civilization we act quite barbaric. Not as barbaric as Jews or Americans, but imperialism still imperialism. Sometimes I don't fell myself worthy glory of my ancestors, who have ideology with a lot of flaws, but overall better than just profit, nationalism or religion.

you know, it is kinda sad to me that we as iranians don't have any real friends around the globe, oh i much rather say we gathered more enemies and haters.
none of the middle eastern countries truly like us, and if they do it is mainly due to for defending the palestine against israel. none of them truly like us for being shia or for being non-arab / non-turk and if we become secular we will lose that support too.
and russia and china have the same view, most of their people don't know nothing about us nor they have little shit to give about us.
also our relationship with your country is more about being a vassal than being an ally, we pretty much did whatever the russia asked us to do, even went as far as making the syria a living hell that will hate our guts to death.
iran has been a vassal for a century now , one time for the west now for the east. and realistically we're just remained alone with ourselves, our arrogance-y, stubborn and fake bubble of power and importance brought us here. and weakness.

maybe this recent war and russia and china not helping change that a bit and also there are alot of people who think putin being pro-khamenei is dangerous for iran. also historical thing that russo-soviet did to iran during ww2 and participating to take away a large amount of lands from iran still brings some trauma but i don't think there are anyone who really is that bothered with it anymore (also not the same russia).

Actually you have more influence on me than him. If you remember, I reacted quite bumpy first time at your posts during war. Then I think more about my position and apologized. "Who I am to judge." I know nothing. Then I noticed that both Iranian have much more patience with each other than i thought it was possible, considering adversarial positions and time of war. You both more humane, than I expected.
I reconsider my own attitude towards Russian anons after this. Sometimes you must have respect to your people just because they are your kin.
