She does seem decently based, or at least more based than most other leaders Europe has had recently. She's euroskeptic, and liberals have been acting like she's the second coming of Mussolini (which is absurd, but still funny how they're seething about it).
It's at least a sign that Italians are getting fed up with all the EU shit that's been forced down their throats for the past few decades. Maybe things will get a little bit better for them.

I was watching pictures of her surrounded by other "right-wing" politicians, even she attended CPAC and gave an speech to the American audience, so she is a partner of Conservative Inc.
I expect grandiose discourses and blaming the opposition, but very little actual action. 95% she's another controlled opposition plant, otherwise her party would never allowed her to present a candidacy.

I think this is overstated. The article feels almost subtly pro-EU too.
Of course, she's not actually the second coming of Mussolini, but she doesn't seem terrible either. The standard for European politicians is pretty fucked, so she quite favorable by comparison.
That being said, I'm not Italian, so I have no real say in the matter.

I wouldn't say so. While a lot of these big picture issues can't be fixed by voting, the average normie voter is more concerned with the everyday polcies that effect their immediate quality of life, and those things can be effected by who is in charge.
