As far as I can tell, protests continue to spread and grow throughout Canada, and there is talk of further trucker strikes. All the fiat currency on the planet amounts to nothing if products aren't moving, and people will starve if the truckers refuse to transport food/fuel. I have no idea what percentage of truckers are striking at this point, but I don't think it's looking good for Trudeau right now if he's crying for the UN.
Also, the police have gone on record recently and said that they absolutely will be going after people who donated to the protests as well as anyone that got involved on the ground. Those dumbasses straight-up told people "you have nothing to lose because we are not showing mercy to anyone even if you stop protesting". The way the Russian situation in Ukraine is progressing really gives me the impression that most of this is a circus show. One can hope the US Freedom Convoy is still en route to DC, but they might be stopped and quelled long before that. But the banks that froze the accounts might be in trouble since the Emergency Act never actually was approved before lifted, it had to be approved by both House and Senate, and only the House was allowed to vote before it being lifted. So there is a legal argument that the immunity they were given wasn't lawful. But those questions is above my understanding, and it will probably take years before we get to know the answer to that. All the money frozen were released within a day or two after Emergency Act was lifted.
