>>277825 >>277826 I'd recommend actually posting things in the OP next time. Or actually post some decent starter content. I'll bite this time. Do it better next time. Because the princesses might be watching. The secret plot line from the very beginning of the series is nearing a crescendo. I can feel it in my hooves. Here's something a little meta for you to wet whistle on.
The background world building is really interesting, but the fucking plot is all over the place until we're already so far ahead.
>>277828 >Because the princesses might be watching. Do you think they are? Some Anon in the previous bread may have said that they probably are... and even had dreams about two of them. And wouldn't watching that show be a discredit to them? Isn't a princess supposed to be a noble, cunning warrior?
>>277832 The OP of the previous bread was b& for "roleplay". The ban was intended to last 24 hours, but it ended up only lasting about two hours for some reason. (My guess is that a mod must have dropped his name from the ban list because either he likes /mlh/ or the mod banning him was not up to speed.) Still, this means that it would be extremely risky to post /mlh/ content on /mlp/ and would be ill-advised.
>>277844 That is exactly what happened. Here is something based on something I saw somewhere. We really are facing segregation in the MLH community. Not only do I get my magic disabled at airports, I get pulled aside for additional screening every single time! And my passport says I was born right here in Equestria, so I see no reason as to why this excessive screening happens.
>>277859 Ooh, thanks for reminding me. Last night, Princess Twilight appeared in my dreams... again... and now she brought her friend, whose name was something along the lines of “Fluttershy”. They both turned into humans and pet me, stroked my mane, and preened my wings and I couldn’t help but fall into sheer ecstasy.
Is Princess Twilight a sweet pony like I think or is she a deceptive seductress? Or is this all some wicked dream?
>>277860 >Twilight >Deceptive seductress As somepony who was witness to one of her legendary sperg-outs before becoming princess, she is neither deceptive nor a seductress. Sweet and ultimately well-meaning, yes. Deceptive seductress? Hah!
>>277862 I don't remember much besides it being Twilight's fault and that I'm not alone in these experiences, but every time somebody uses the insult "smarty-pants" or I see a stuffed doll, I get a twinge of pain. That's all I can tell you about the happenings, and I only used the term "sperg-out" because she presumably flipped out over something relatively small. After all, literally nothing was happening that day until she did something.
>>277870 Technically it's not a general, until it becomes a repeating thing. Having said, you're right there is literally a rule against generals. Exceptions have been made in the past, and we'll be following the situation. Since this isnt /mlp/, I'm sure that will cut down alot of the low effort posting, so who knows? One thread could have a long lifespan
>>277883 >>277884 I just checked the rules and a “general” here means that everyone here shares a political opinion and thinks in a likeminded fashion. If the Anonfilly and Aryanne threads are OK here and they repeat, they’ll probably be fine with this.
>>277886 The rule was proposed/adopted to address a.reddit/cancer generals such as /ptg/, as well as some of the more extreme autisms of /mlp/. Exceptions are generally made per the will of the board users, the spirit and how it pertains to /mlpol/, and if/whether the content is somewhat-expressly banned on 4ch. Syria general is the best political example, as most of our /sg/ posters are or have been banned, and anonfilly is the best example on the /mlp/ side of things.
>>277887 We know that this content has (recently) been banned from 4ch and this board is actually among the faster boards of /mlpol/ that I’ve seen. Perhaps this may be able to be a continuing thing after all.
>>277863 How do you know it was Princess Twilight who did it? I know what you are talking about and I may think it could be an impeachable offense, though I’m not sure. Perhaps a simple civil suit would be enough.
>>277890 Well... I don't *know* that she did it, I just have a gut feeling that everypony else affected seems to share with me. Also, this happened long before she was a princess, so I don't think it would be worth trying for an impeachment and the evidence is shaky enough that a civil suit would be a waste of time. If you have anything concrete though, I'm all ears.
>>277887 >and anonfilly is the best example on the /mlp/ side of things. So do you think both they and this would be allowed, especially under rule 3? Do you think it’ll be allowed because there is no lockstep political opinion? Or do you think the mods are going to look at this and say that this shouldn’t be a thing?
>>277927 It's been left up for this long, I have a hard time believing that the mods haven't already seen it and given a pass. If I'm wrong, then one of you glorious bastards running this site please inform me.
There have been no complaints or objections from users or staff. For now, we shall see what the thread is about by observing (and in some cases joining) the shenanigens. The bump limit is 700 I believe. No lolicon or shotacon or the equivalent. Stop by the policy page at the top for more details. Carry on <3
>>277841 Do you agree with >>277826? She DOES have magic like we do, though it was only mentioned a few times.
>>277967 I don’t think she could, though it was somewhat of a surprise to find out we were going to have a new princess in the first place. Though if Celestia says she’s trustworthy and she’s been that kind of a gal in my dreams, I’m OK with it.
>>277971 Humans have the same friendly, expressive faces that we do, perhaps that contributes to their cuteness? Idk for sure, but I saw this one screencap from another board that explained why those neighpon comics have such cute mares in them and it seems like a lot of it could apply to humans as well.
>>277976 So do you think humans will eat us? Or do you think any creature that cute would refuse to eat us?
In those dreams I’ve been having about human Princess Twilight and her friend, “Fluttershy”, they repeatedly remind me that they’re not going to eat me, since I always instinctually ask... even though I have the magical abilities to stop them.
>>277978 In most literature, humans seem civilized enough to avoid eating other sentient creatures, so I'm pretty sure our intelligence would be enough to give most of them pause for concern over eating us. Not sure about the Chinese humans, though.
>>277983 Speaking of which, Galadriel looks somewhat attractive as well, but I say best human waifu is a three way tie between Princesses Peach and Twilight, plus this “Fluttershy” girl if she even exists. Or is she just a product of my wicked imagination?
>>277986 The humans in that universe seemed to be remarkably friendly towards the other sentients though, so I'm 99% sure that they'd accept us with open arms and without any cooking utensils. Just in case you come across some chinese human though, simply fight back. Humans tend to be somewhat frail, and a swift kick to the leg should be enough to take one down.
>>277984 >Peach, Galadriel, and a known pony >Best waifus You, sir, have shit taste! Everypony knows that Samus is better, human technology is way cooler than boring magic!
>>277987 >pic related Checkmate. Only one other could compare or even exceed Speedwagon's brilliant form. >That is simply racist. Judging every human based on their own merits is good, but the quick check sheet guideline would be useful. The creators even have duplicate humans running around. In a meta in universe show they talked about it. It's not much of a stretch to think they just copy general features slap on a few unique attributes sometimes and call it a main character. Some are hoof crafted to be plot important, while the suprising background human suddenly having a moment to triumph tastes so sweet. >>277986 >pic related psa It bares repeating, they have stamina and mental ability to do things. >>277984 I think you saw one of Photo Finish's models. A Dappertry or somepony.
>>278001 >The creators even have duplicate humans running around. You mean identical twins? Can’t that happen with us? >It bares repeating, they have stamina and mental ability to do things. So do we... and we also have magic. The only issue is when you’re in an airport or on an airplane.
>>277999 >That is simply racist And? Even in the human world that's a shit-tier argument >How is she a known pony? How could anyone know about her? Twilight's a fuckin princess, of course she's a known pony!
>>278001 I see you're one of those ponies who obsesses over the JoJo fanfic. How about you go shit up some different board?
>>278002 He means that the creator of humans confirmed that even the males can fuck for up to thirty minutes uninterrupted. Be careful, nopony wants to get NTR'd.
>>278042 >t. Stallion You don't know who I am, I could even be a dragon! >Who? You know, those six ponies lead by Princess Twilight with those magical superweapons on hoof whenever some arbitrary evil pops up? Tell me I'm not the only one who reads the news here
>>278081 My dude, did you forget the fact that Princess Luna also moves the fucking moon? And yeah, I guarantee that at least Twilight would have an answer, but yeah, we realistically will never get the chance to ask.
>>278092 >My dude, did you forget the fact that Princess Luna also moves the fucking moon? I thought it was because the moon was in a gravitational orbit around Earth. >but yeah, we realistically will never get the chance to ask Perhaps if she appears in my dreams again, I would ask her. But yeah, I don’t know whether a princess would care for a mere peasant such as myself.
>>278108 Think about it this way. Gravity is a force that is proportional to the product of the masses of the objects it is interacting between and the square of the displacement between the centers of their masses. The moon is massive enough and close enough to our planet that it can reasonably stay in orbit. If we truly needed magic to keep it by us, then we could just pull it into a closer orbit so magic is no longer needed. And if that wasn’t possible and we truly needed magic perpetually, then the moon should just fly off into outer space because it isn’t gravitationally bound to us.
>>278113 You’re drinking too much of the Cool-Aid. Remember when the humans said that the Ancient Egyptian pharaohs claimed to have the power to do the same? >>278116 But if the planet were not round, how come gravity acts so universally?
>>278113 Princess Luna has told me in a dream that this “Fluttershy” pony is definitely real and that she is being trained to enter dreams, though it was just a dream. I think she’s honestly pretty good at it and she is actually very cute both as a human and as a pony.
>>278155 >But if the planet were not round, how come gravity acts so universally? >gravity Why matter is attracted downwards, I don't know, I read like half of Newton's Principia and my opinion is that there's no way a XVII century fag could develop such theory without supernatural help.
>>278190 The only way for the sun to not be the center of mass in our solar system is for it to be only barely large enough for a star to form and barely close to our planet for it to be gravitationally bound to it. And life on said planet probably wouldn’t look anything nearly what we do, since said planet would be barely hot enough for liquid water to form.
>>278195 I had to take a semester of the most hellish physics course ever with that as one of the topics. If it isn’t universally accepted, why are they drilling this into the minds of university students?
>>277987 So how should I react if a human tries to eat me even though I ask her not to? And what should I do if I can neither buck her to the ground, fly away, nor blast her with a death spell? (I could perform one of those options normally, but what if my magic is somehow drained?)
>>278246 Or maybe I could just yell “fire” and see whether anypony is around to help. >tfw you live in a giant mansion in New Canterlot and your call to aid gets absorbed by its walls >tfw no friends to help >tfw you’re one of the most powerful creatures on the planet, but you can’t fight off this one human and Equestria as you know it is doomed
>>278245 >>278249 Are you a mare or a mouse? Ask the mouse for some tips on where that spine has gone. >I do if I can neither buck her to the ground, fly away, nor blast her with a death spell? Look it's generally frowned upon to discuss this, but singing is a key survival component from the very existence of our species. How did we survive the windegos, Singing. How did the last order of cupcakes go through at the market? That's right singing. Creepy stranger troting down the road. Singing. Salad bar out of salt? You Sing! Local disaster? Sing. Princess Sparkle might want you to believe friendship is magic. That's true, but without her friends she could do whatever hero things they propagandize for. The point being with friends they need to harmonize. For the average pony singing brings them closer to harmony and more can be done with less. Studies have shown other creatures who sing also gain some benefit, but not the extent we do. >inb4 how do you do my fellow ponies
>not having a freshly baked pie on the side of your bed for emergencies. Feels bad being a lone ba/k/er >tfwywn throw a turnip rutabaga pie at the human >tfwywn watch in horror as it eats it mid air >tfwywn use the pineapple pizza as last resort, watching it go down too >tfwywn promise to bake cookies into order to escape and alert the town >tfwywn head back and finish what you started as your pride as a ba/k/er. >tfwywn sing a song to save somepony Take some classes, and educate yourself. /fit/ting in might be fine, but become a t/üb/er and watch the human as an equal.
>>278253 >Are you a mare or a mouse? Neither. I’m a stallion. >Ask the mouse for some tips on where that spine has gone. Ponies are naturally prey animals, so it is only instinct that we are afraid of humans eating us. >singing is a key survival component from the very existence of our species. So would all I’d have to do be charming her with some hypnotic jams on my iPone? I’ve always wondered why I was able to write such charming and hypnotic music and have music as an element of my cutie mark.
>>278253 >Creepy stranger troting down the road. Singing. Is that why I always hear music blaring from portable speakers on Canterlot’s metro system? It’s technically illegal, but nopony bothers to enforce that.
>>278256 >Quit your bellyaching and get over it! I can’t if there are always numerous mythical creatures hellbent on subjugating Equestria and ruining everyone’s lives. Granted, there are several other non-pony creatures who want to become part of our society rather than destroy it, but others haven’t learned about the magic of friendship.
>>278260 Is your whining going to stop any of that from happening? No. What WILL stop it is intervention from the princess or the elements, both of which haven't failed us yet. Don't worry about the end of all ponykind until all of those lifelines are exhausted, you'll stress yourself into an early grave.
>>278262 >What WILL stop it is intervention from the princess or the elements, both of which haven't failed us yet. I doubt a princess would intervene for a meager peasant, though remember I’ve had recurring dreams where she had a crush on me, so she could do it provided I “return the favor”.
>>278271 >princess crushing over a peasant In your dreams, and not literally >wouldn't intervene for a meager peasant Well, not for ONE peasant unless they know where you are and what's going on. Otherwise, given how they were heroes in their own right before becoming royalty, I think they would.
>>278275 >In your dreams, and not literally Yeah, I’d probably need to somehow confirm that she has a crush on me IRL. And I doubt she does, though we do have quite a lot in common and like similar things. >unless they know where you are and what's going on. And I somehow go back in time so I get born into an aristocratic family? My family does come from a long line of leaders ever since my ancestors got off the boat from Hope Hollow, but my family hasn’t been royal for over 500 years, if at all.
>>278262 >What WILL stop it is intervention from the princess or the elements, both of which haven't failed us yet. But wasn’t Princess Twilight kidnapped on multiple occasions? And I could just call the police, but that won’t help if the leftist Union Party runs my city.
>>278277 >we have a lot in common and like similar things zigger how the buck do you know that >my family came from a long line of leaders who the buck cares
>>278356 she may have been kidnapped a few times, but she still helped fix the problem in the end. My point is that they haven't failed us yet even with all of their otherwise failings, so we don't need to worry until they do.
>>278364 >zigger how the buck do you know that Because she is into math and science...? I’m currently going for my MS in compsci, so we’ll have a lot to talk about. >who the buck cares A princess would.
>>278366 >are you actually stuck on a plane with a human trying to eat you without access to magic Don’t we all have to go through that gate that disables our magic before we board? Or is that just for us unicorns, alicorns, and kirin?
>>278370 >>implying you would ever get to talk to a princess even by clinging to your ancient claim to "royalty" I agree that wouldn’t necessarily work if my family came from peasantry, at least for the last half a millennium, possibly for the entirety of its existence. >what gate? I've never had to use a gate and I fly all the time! Then I guess I’m only speaking about larger, international airports such as Canterlot, Crystal City, and Dream Castle, though smaller airports may seem to do horn disabling as well.
>>278370 >>implying you would ever get to talk to a princess even by clinging to your ancient claim to "royalty" Isn’t absolutely everyone descended from royalty in one way or another? Though princesses may be looking for more closer relationships.
>>278382 So I take it you are neither a unicorn, alicorn, or kirin if you never had to go through that. Since I do fall into one of those, it wouldn’t make sense for me to not have to do that. Maybe their equipment was just broken and they couldn’t disable horns if they couldn’t be re-enabled?
>>278383 >>278384 So what would you guys do if there were a barrier against using magic? Personally, I may try to use martial arts against the human. Who knows? Maybe there’d be a lever that’d reveal a 16-ton weight nearby...
>>278387 Teleport or sonic rainboom there. If you know where it is or she could provide directions, she could saddle you up and ride on your back at supersonic or photonics speeds. I’ve done that before, but it is exhausting and you’ll lose a lot of magic anyway.
>>278390 15 seconds where you won't be worrying about this imaginary human trying to suck your brain out or whatever, or an entire flight where you'll be silently shitting yourself over her suddenly deciding to go feral and tear you apart then and there, ruining all the chance you have with her? take your pick.
>>278391 Any advice on how to refill my magic, then? I don’t know how Princess Twilight keeps teleporting without having to worry about that. Though I may have to ask her if she appears in my dreams again.
>>278393 Well, I certainly fulfill my Hope Hollowish stereotype of loving at least most things potato, so there’s that to look forward to. Though I may remember seeing somewhere that warm hugs might do the trick... but that only works when there’s someone to hug you.
A new question to get the topic off humans eating ponies, where would y'all go first if you could go to the human world? I'd go to Australia, the humans there are pretty cool and they've got all sorts of neat wildlife!
>>278395 I’d say the aforementioned Mushroom Kingdom. It’s my waifu’s hometown, after all, and it looks ever so lovely from what I saw of it. It’s too bad she always gets kidnapped by that horned, shelled dragon, but that’s all the more reason to have a powerful stallion such as myself to protect her.
>>278395 I’d probably have to say either Yosemite National Park or New York City. >>278396 >I’d say the aforementioned Mushroom Kingdom. Out of context, that would make you look like a junkie of sorts.
>>278402 I thought I was on a thread where we could talk about humans, but if we’re singling one particular group out for its meager existence, wouldn’t that violate both “no race mixing” and “no generals”?
>>278404 I thought that groupthink threads and racism were forbidden under site rules. Besides, this sort of logic is what King Sombra and Nightmare Moon used to justify rounding up undesirables and dissidents and forcing them to work and gassing them in concentration camps.
>>278399 >>278401 >What do you have against Jews? Aw horseapples. Look the reasons will spoil the show, but turns it into a thrilling mystery and intrigue plot. It all becomes about the nitty grity how the story unfolds, and what can be done. It's a real shocking twist that recontextualizes the whole series from its inception. We put together a detailed theory based on canon information, and deductive reasoning. The lurking knowledge makes sense, and provides a sense of horror. Enabling heroism to shine. This is about humans, and you know how the writers like to play by the mysterious rules. >>221790 →
>>278395 The Canterlot mountian equivalent. If not that I have a few places in mind. Sight seeing. >>278392 >I don’t know how Princess Twilight keeps teleporting without having to worry about that. An area I'm qualified to talk about. It's three reasons. First, She lives, breathes, talks, and lives, magic its what she does constantly. Studying and practice. Constant adjustment to her magic for optimal results. Learning new magic and applying it. It's crazy. Second, she has her cutie mark in magic. We all know what a cutie mark does so skipping ahead. Thirdly, she turned into an Alicorn. That's an incredible boost. It's like Saitama, or the body builders, or any of those self improving tales. You have to become a t/üb/er or at least /fit/ to get those insane gains. I swear I'm not a stalker really. I mean I do collect all the news papers, and spend time digging for information. I might also has dug through all the public files. And bought a telescope for monitoring and research. I may have a poster or two of events they've been to. Also happen to have a friend of a friend of a friend dig through their trash sometimes... Nope, not a creepy stalker.
>>278411 >The Canterlot mountian equivalent. If not that I have a few places in mind. Sight seeing. So either Denver or Calgary? >First, She lives, breathes, talks, and lives, magic its what she does constantly. Like that one human, Shawn Farquhar, who fooled Penn and Teller twice? And I was told that all I had to do was think about the result and magic would do the rest. Is it all just because I’m too pessimistic? >Second, she has her cutie mark in magic. Mine’s pretty weird and hard to explain, but its inexplicability is a part of it. >And bought a telescope for monitoring and research. But isn’t that the same as stalking?
>>278407 >>278411 No offense, but this is just a friendly reminder that King Sombra and Nightmare Moon would probably both have liked to see /mlh/ shut down. >Thirdly, she turned into an Alicorn. That's an incredible boost. I don’t want to offend the alicorns ITT, but does anyone believe the rumors that sucking off a human turns you into an alicorn?
>>278449 No offense, but I’m not sure whether that’s the way to ask her, no? If she’s a princess, you have to treat her as such. Perhaps this would get her attention.
May it please Your Majesty,
We, the people of the “My Little Human” community, are curious as to your interest and involvement in the aforementioned community, as well as the show it represents. We think that your lessons on friendship could very well apply to the characters in the show, as well as the real life we experience.
Furthermore, we are deeply outraged at the discrimination that the Internet is imposing upon us and would like action to be taken to make sure a free and open Internet is available to all. Equestria would not be where it is today if the Internet were to be censored by corporations or by governments.
I have the honor to be, Mademoiselle, Your Majesty’s humble and obedient servant,
>>278465 >>278461 >a loser from Canterlot But don’t the “losers” there live in p*ss-poor apartments and talk like that one human named Joe Pesci? I have been to the Canterlot slums before, but I don’t mean to sound offensive. >outranking But wouldn’t a higher order of society demand talking more “properly”? The educated/professional and noble strata talk in a different manner than that of the working class. Princess Twilight is a member of the former, so we’d naturally expect her to use posh mannerisms.
>>278517 We still don't even have confirmation that she's around here, I'll apologize and give whatever respect she's due once she shows up. Until then, I reserve the right to be a dick over the internet.
>>278525 The contradiction is only there because we don’t know whether the rumor is true or false, so I’m giving two possible answers: one for each conclusion. If some random alicorn were to drop by and confirm or deny the rumor, s/he could only state one conclusion.
>>278559 I understand your logic there, but I think that Anon isn’t her. She’d be able to confirm or deny whether sucking off a human turns you into an alicorn, as she would be an alicorn herself, but even that may be unknown by her. She may also not feel the need to say “No offense to the alicorns ITT”.
>>278577 but if she IS Twilight, then her wanting to know the answer to that may be part of a ploy to not only ship her friends with her favorite humans but also get them immortality. Also, why would she need to say "no offense to the alicorns lurking" unless she knew that there in fact WAS one lurking, herself lurking, for the answer to her question! Checkm8!
>>278580 All good points. But we should also not forget that alicorns are ponies just like everypony else and they can have access to the same Internet we all have access to, ride in the same railway carriages we all ride in, and drink from the same water fountains we all drink from. Saying that is akin to saying “No offense to the Earth ponies...”, etc.
And if alicorns are immortal and can grant immortality, couldn’t she just do that herself? Rumor has it she was also able to turn a frog into an orange.
>>278588 >there's what, like 5 of them? What if there are others we don’t know about...? >so that's where that thing came from! I guess, but remember that pretty much any unicorn/alicorn/kirin out there could probably do what she did.
>>278629 There are some who call her a goddess, but I can’t agree with them for religious reasons. But she and Princess Celestia seem to both be powerful sorceresses and may make good friends.
>tfw you’re one of the most powerful creatures on the planet >tfw your magic can literally delete the universe if left unchecked >tfw you’re angry at reality, thanks in part to there being no human supousu to hug you, comfort you, pet you, stroke your mane, and rub your belly >tfw no one to love you because your home is so inaccessible on public transport and it’s just so freaking massive that it’s impossible to agree on where to meet >tfw you get angrier, but realize the fate of the universe is literally in the balance
>tfw a human(?) furiendu or supousu arrives from the great beyond, who is just as powerful as you are >tfw you discuss your powers and how you can improve your powers >tfw you teach each other new techniques to hone your abilities >tfw s/he hugs you, shows you affection, rubs your belly, and strokes your mane
>tfw it was all just a dream >tfwywn find a human wizard or witch whom you can talk about magic with
>>278716 Did you forget the entire part of (I think it was) Metroid 2 where she saved all those animals from the place before it blew up and carried them away to safety on her ship? She may be a bounty hunter and an honest killer, but she isn't a soulless monster.
>>278749 She took better care of them than the fireball would've, and they weren't necessary. It's just another optional things that the devs put in to give the players extra challenge along the way with a nice feel-good reward at the end.
>>278752 Right, but would she have taken good care of them? Or is it like saying that King Sombra killed fewer people than PM Joseph Stallion did, despite both of them being among the most evil people known to ponykind?
>>278755 but she didn't have to take them to begin with, so wouldn't it just be redundant to eat them? Also, I've heard from griffons that it's a lot of work to butcher something, so it's something that you have to know how to do before hand to do it right.
>>278789 But she had a journey that was probably light-years in length. If she wasn’t in some kind of cryosleep or didn’t have a faster-than-light ship, she’d need to eat something eventually, though I take it that she may have a military background and may have a stock of MRE’s aboard.
The MLH fandom seems to be large in Ponyland and (to a lesser extent) the other former USSK countries. How come PM Little Supreme Ruler would allow for such a culture to enter the Ponylandish Internet if they have a centuries-long history of being an oppressive, authoritarian nation? (No offense.)
Wasn’t there a lot more shipping in previous threads? Personally, my OTP is Princess Toshi and Viscount Linley.
Is it like the British royal family to marry into that of Japan? Even if not, the latter is having a succession crisis, so they need someone. But they are both pretty young, having both recently ascended to adulthood, so they’ve got their entire lives.
>>278857 Old English is definitely based on Old Ponish. I remember a few years ago the showrunners released a book that was nothing but Old English and my dumb ass actually wasted bits on it. Here's a riddle from that book:
Ic on wincle gefrægn weax nathwæt þindan & þunian þecene hebban on þæt banlease bryd grapode hygewlonc hondum hrægle þeahte þrindende þing þeodnes dohtor.
Anyone who studied Old Ponish in college will see the obvious similarities. The poetic style that's dependent on alliteration instead of rhyme and where each line is divided into half-lines, the archaic letters Thorn and Ash, and that weird practice of using Y as a vowel.
The answer to the riddle, by the way, is dough, not dick, you fucking pervs.
>>278918 Fictional languages are usually based on historical or "exotic" real-world languages. The real question is, why did the showrunners hire that team of philologists to work out over a hundred fictional languages in excruciating detail when they can't even be assed to do something as simple as writing good episodes for once? >>278938 >Yes, but why is no Ponish spoken in Equestria? Ponish was an Earthic language. That's Earthic as in earth pony, not as in human earth. Meanwhile Equestrian is basically a Cornish language. Go figure, as screwheads began to dominate our society the trilingual situation died out in favor of unicorn language.
>>278941 I guess that would explain it. Perhaps English came partially from the Ponylandish language spoken by the unicorns when they migrated here, which is similar to how the English language in the human world came from French migration to England.
Но это заставляет задуматься о том, что могло быть. No offense.
>>279001 But what would? The obvious answer is either magic, flying away, or bucking him into submission, depending on which race you are, but there are certain situations where that may not entirely be possible.
>>279020 No fuckin idea, m8. To be honest, I stopped paying attention after 2016, the entire thing just kinda fell apart and I don't see any of the storylines being nearly as engaging or having anywhere near a satisfying conclusion after they used Epstein as a scapegoat for the Clintons.
>>279022 Well, this pandemic arc seems to be going over well. US tensions with both the EU and China are at an all-time high and Russia and China are both releasing relatively untested versions of Coronavirus vaccines. I don’t know the EU’s stance on that, but I’ve a feeling the US’s military might may be put to the ultimate test within the next 100 or so in-franchise years.
>>279025 >next 100 in-franchise years and how long will that be IRL? Remember, there's something like a fucking year or more in between decade releases, so that'll be anywhere between a year and 10 from now! I miss back when there was only a month between releases...
>>279181 It'll be interesting as a shitshow, that's about it. They go to all that work building up Trump to be this great hero of America, and then they go and turn him into another israel shill... Talk about wasted fucking potential
>>279187 >It’ll be an interesting sh*tshow Especially considering I personally hate both candidates and I may wish either that one party gain the presidency with the other having control of Congress or that the electoral college be tied 269-269. Though both may seem unlikely. >and then they go and turn him into another israel shill No offense, but if taken out of context, you could look like someone who rooted for Adolf Hitler in the show and someone who supports the policies of King Sombra and Nightmare Moon.
>>279190 >how could you tell? Because it looks like you are antisemitic. Most antisemitics of contemporary seasons use logic akin to the logic used by Hitler. >already discarded But weren’t they basically our version of Hitler? And wouldn’t they also want /mlh/ shut down if they had their way? I’m all for free speech and whatnot, but exercising free speech sometimes doesn’t get you anywhere good.
>>279271 You never mentioned why it was discarded; only that it was discarded at all. So if Hitler was based on our tyrants of recent history, why would you support either one?
And I would personally probably be put in a concentration camp if any of them were in charge of Equestria, since I have expressed dissent about segregation and personally know quite a few Jewish people and people of ex-USSK descent, who’d probably be more than welcome in my massive stallion-cave that is a basement.
Has anyone else had a dream about people who have both pony and human forms? I had one a couple of nights ago about one named “Rarity”, who, as it turns out, is neither really a pony or a human, but rather a marshmallow. She also claims to be one of Princess Twilight’s friends.
So if we know that magic can get ponies into dreams, the line between reality and dreams is blurred. If not, then I’ll have to chalk this up to my wicked imagination. But does anyone else know about “Rarity”, “Fluttershy”, or ways to find out who Princess Twilight’s friends really are?
>>279363 The reason your argument was discarded is because the jews deserve it, as was thoroughly explained in the previous argument. If you can't read that and find out the reasons without having it spoonfed to you, then you don't deserve to be here. Leave or lurk until you can be called a competent poster.
>>279407 >Equestria was colonized to promote pony nationality >The buffalo, while they were mostly killed and ransacked, have since gained Equestrian citizenship, but are denied the rights thereof >Every pony should move back to tuberculosis-ridden, totalitarian Ponyland, where they’ll all be killed for dissenting views So is this what the Union Party and the left want? To control our minds and quell dissent? Like they say the “alt-right” Nationalist Party is doing, according to them?
>>279391 What about another one named “Pinkie Pie” who can do really cartoonish things? Someone ought to inquire as to who Twilight’s friends are and what they do. Then we’ll know the real answers and solve the mystery once and for all.
>>279563 Well, the people I keep seeing in dreams seem rather friendly, in both human and pony form. We know of Princess Twilight, at least one Anon ITT has heard of “Fluttershy”, and I’ve heard of this “Rarity” and another one named “Screwball”, though the latter has yet to acquire a human form, though she has gone from Earth pony to alicorn, with everyone hailing her as the “Princess of Chaos”. She also claims to be Discord’s little sister.
>>279628 >So you’d compare the suffering to the suffering of Hitler’s and King Sombra’s victims? Had to contact the Wonderbolts to get my sides. So a little spoiler about the show. King Sombra's analogue isn't Hitler, I mean have you seen what Sombra did to the crystal empire? The closest pony that fits Hitler as a political leader in our world is Princess Celestia herself! That's a really weird connection you might say, and it is. You see the show took a decidedly complex idea, what if we took Princess Celestia and put her in the show as a human. I know it's a multimedia franchise at this point, but the point remains. A young ignorant Princess growing as a human in some very rough times in a bizarre planet, no, a bizarre universe. Unknowingly trying to apply pony concepts into human ones, and it was working. Working too well. The secret behind the scenes subplots really despise losing anything, and even more so hate being brought to justice. Years of history gone. Attempts of outside communication, ignored. Princess Celestia even as an extremely young human can pull off some amazing feats. Overcoming contracts that should have continued to enforce those humans. Pulling together as one unifying those lost ponies. Even withstanding the world. What I'm excited for is Princess Cadence, and Princess Twilight human characters. Maybe if they will pull a last minute surprise hero. Because the secret subplots are reaching a tipping point spilling over into the main plots.
>>279636 >Had to contact the Wonderbolts to get my sides. But they are legally bound to disclose that this is their own opinion and doesn’t reflect those of the DoD or any group they’re a part of. >I mean have you seen what Sombra did to the crystal empire? He basically did what Hitler did, only he actually had a thousand-year Reich. >The closest pony that fits Hitler as a political leader in our world is Princess Celestia herself! I don’t know which Wonderbolt(s) you contacted, but there are a lot of them, especially in the reserves, so you may have only been given opinions by a few of them. And are you sure you contacted the Wonderbolts and not Ponyland’s VMF? I intitially thought that many Ponylandish military traditions, such as goose stepping and the styles of music the bands play, were adopted by Equestria, but they are actually completely different on this side of the pond. >A young ignorant Princess growing as a human in some very rough times in a bizarre planet, no, a bizarre universe. Then Princess Twilight would be a better analogue, but both Princesses Celestia and Twilight would not dare to persecute and kill as many people as Hitler and Sombra did. They are just too polite, gentle, and loving. >What I'm excited for is Princess Cadence, and Princess Twilight human characters. Like that one Anon who keeps dreaming about a human Princess Twilight?
>>279638 you mule-minded muppet, by telling the wonderbolts to get his sides, he was implying that he was laughing so hard that they flew off. They weren't giving him arguments, they were helping him recover from your absolutely pea-brained, lukewarm piss take of an opinion. Leave this site and leave this planet so I don't have to share an oxygen supply with you.
>>279638 You really should see the extra material and the Tin Foil discoverers analysises. >Then Princess Twilight would be a better analogue, but both Princesses Celestia and Twilight would not dare to persecute and kill as many people as Hitler and Sombra did. >kill as many people as Hitler did. Seriously watch a quickrundown video or a conspiracy mlh thread. >>279644 Thanks friend, as always your right on the bit, have a human.
>>279644 >by telling the wonderbolts to get his sides, he was implying that he was laughing so hard that they flew off. Because Sombra’s policies are incompatible with Equestrian ideology? >>279647 >You really should see the extra material and the Tin Foil discoverers analysises. I have seen them and they are a whole bunch of hogwash. When the Union Party had control of the government between 998 and 1006, there were conspiracies that then-PM Lightning Bender would place stickers on our mailboxes and that would determine which people to kill and which people to save when Ponyland finally invades. And that was utter hogwash and many more things they say are. Those stickers are really to tell people when they get which paper. Some conspiracies are just too crazy for me to believe, but I have found out a way to judge their merit: ask whether rich and powerful people could benefit and who stands to benefit if the conspiracy were to be true. >>279648 >our boy Out of context, it would make you look like a neo-Nazi, neo-Sombrite, or neo-Selenite.
>>279650 >Talking about a crazy cult and not the mlh community about the secrets behind the it. Yeah... I think you should take a break for little bit. Not everything is about Sombra or about the various cultist crazies. Honestly the bizarre parallels you try to make between Sombra a real nasty pony, and Hitler is falling a bit flat. >>by telling the wonderbolts to get his sides, he was implying that he was laughing so hard that they flew off. >Because Sombra’s policies are incompatible with Equestrian ideology? No... it's using a fictional character incorrectly without the whole of the personallity. Have you even watched the Newspaper Shoppe episodes? About how media corporations took pictures from India and made it look to be jews? >Out of context, it would make you look like a neo-Nazi, neo-Sombrite, or neo-Selenite. ??? Look there's online clubs that host mlh and the raw version. I'm sure they fill you in on all the tidbits and lore if a bit prickly because they deal with the same reasons and hasty conclusions every single time. >ask whether rich and powerful people could benefit and who stands to benefit if the conspiracy were to be true. Ah, so who benefits the most from preventing speech about the holololol in mlh. Reminds me of a quote from Voltaire.
>>279656 >No... it's using a fictional character incorrectly without the whole of the personallity. So he was just making a meme? But how else could you interpret it? >About how media corporations took pictures from India and made it look to be jews? And how CNN used staged news stories? >because they deal with the same reasons and hasty conclusions every single time. But who else calls Hitler or Sombra “our boy”?
>>279665 Anypony with a brain and an understanding of the subplot calls Hitler their boy. As for sombra, we've already told you you're retarded and given you plenty of reasons as to why without you even bothering to look at a single one, from the sound of things. As I said before, leave the site and this planet to give the rest of us back the resources you're wasting by merely existing.
>>279666 >tfw get to go to Earth but I'm bigger than all the humans >tfw no bigger, stronger human to pick me up and cuddle me >tfw I accidentally crush one and get sent to oversized jail for life feels bad, mares
>>279670 No, I have looked at the logic. That one human named Dennis Prager puts his spin on it perfectly: you can’t deny Italy’s existence and claim to not be anti-Italian, so you can’t deny Israel’s existence and claim to not be antisemitic. Plus, if Israel gets fully absorbed by the Palestinian Authority, the Jewish population would probably be forced to either relocate to elsewhere en masse or suffer persecution at the hands of the Palestinians.
And another point commonly brought up is that Israel shouldn’t exist because it is racist and an apartheid state. That is simply not true, considering Arabs ride the same buses, vote in the same elections, etc. as Hebrews. Spoiler alert: They are really one and the same race; the divide is artificial and this conflict pits brother against brother. Though I’m not denying that there are extremists on both sides of the issue that pressure for forced integration and expansion of either side.
Even if Israel is the apartheid state that the media makes it out to be, that doesn’t mean it shouldn’t exist. The USA, Germany, South Africa, Spain, the United Kingdom, and many (if not most) other places have racist histories behind them, yet no human calls their existences into question. Though the reverse holds true with Hong Kong: it doesn’t have a legacy of racism (probably because it’s only been independent for around 30 years), but its existence is called into question.
And despite what you may have seen in the MLH news clips, that Dennis Prager fellow has also said that Israel has accepted five times reduced claims to their borders, yet the Palestinian Authority and the Arab settlers who came before them refused to accept anything less than Israel being wiped off the map completely.
And finally, the coup de grace of the modern antisemitic argument. Where is the proof or the evidence that the Jews control upwards of 70% of the world’s wealth? And how do you know that they would all get along well in a form of groupthink? Even if it were true (which it isn’t, considering how the poorer Jewish communities in NYC and the NY metropolitan area got their start), would it be more likely that these successes would be pinned on the individuals or upon their religion? Some of them could do better than others, yet they are all being equally judged as overprivileged? I just don’t understand why this stereotyping and these straw man arguments keep coming up.
>>279672 >Dennis Prager Most humans don't even believe his arguments. He is a meme at best, and a mouthpiece at worst. >racist apartheid state Nopony here (except you, to my knowledge) cares about racism and the in-canon humans that do usually aren't the brightest bunch. >spoiler alert segment You seem to have forgotten the other lore that most modern jews are ashkenazi, a race that is more comparable to a heavily inbred variety of eastern european (as I understand it, I could easily be wrong). There are no brother wars, only a war of religious conquest based on fulfilling a prophecy that they have been trying to force the fulfillment of since before the WWI arc. >USA, Germany, South Africa, Spain, UK never called into question for similar reasons That's because those european countries all existed of their ownaccord in their own homelands, meanwhile the USA and South Africa were started before the problems behind this type of government were well known. Israel was created after WWII in the territory that was rightfully claimed by Palestine, a previously existing political entity with a presence in the world (albeit small). With the creation of Israel, the Palestinians were driven from their homes as the entire country was subjugated by the Allied powers and completely handed over to those same jews, leaving many homeless and without a place to go. Since then, Israel has attempted to further steal territory from their neighbors and genocide the palestinians that are left, all to fulfill that same prophecy. All of these things were expressed in the lore. >Where is the proof they control everything? Despite making up around 2% of the US population, 41% of them are within the top 1% of the country by wealth and many of them also hold notable positions in media and other powerful positions. They also have an entire political body working within the US's government, exclusively working for the benefit of Israel. AIPAC stands for American Israeli Political Action Group, after all.
The lore is there and I've even spoonfed it to you to the best of my ability, if you can't grasp it at this point then you should honestly not try to discuss it. This lore may be a bit of a heavy weight for your perception of the story, but it's necessary to gain the deeper understanding that leads to deeper discussion. If you aren't willing to learn, then others won't be willing to discuss.
>>279675 That's the post I read, the number was merely a mistake. Also, regarding that second post, the only difference I see that doesn't hurt your argument anyway is the use of a spoiler tag for the spoilered segment.
>>279673 >The USA, Germany, South Africa, Spain, the United Kingdom, and many (if not most) other places have racist histories behind them, yet no human calls their existences into question. Is that a fucking joke? These countries are constantly bashed for their histories by niggers with worse histories.
>>279719 Their existences are warred upon by the same left that wants you to love and fund and die for Pissrael, an illegitimate state founded on formerly-Christian now-Mudslime land by the jewish-controlled "British" Empire out of a desire to appease civilian-slaughtering jewish terrorist organizations. America's still under draconian lockdown policies that fuck over small businesses, right? So tell me, why is America still keeping up its regular donations to your sugar-baby Pissrael?
>>279749 "Power vacuum"? What are you talking about? Jews have all the power on this corrupt country. They already control these countries, that's why they've been turned against the whites who made these countries successful. I hope you aren't roleplaying as a pony over this.
>>279752 You speak in circles. Do you think America would act to save whites from Germany, the UK, and other western countries if they fell? America isn't even accepting whites fleeing their ancestral homes in Blacked Africa.
>>279764 >Do you think America would act to save whites from Germany, the UK, and other western countries if they fell? No. I think they’d act to save the countries themselves and the governments that support them rather than save particular ethnic groups.
>>279770 >>279776 Not according to Christians or Jew-Owned countries, including your own, We must get rid of those who oppose A nation's government acting for it's people first and foremost as a collective, and to re orient our societies and communities to be as In accord with Natural Order as possible.
>>279776 >>279779 But its working class forms part of its people. How else could the nation work without them? Even the USA was able to get rid of slavery less than 100 years after it was founded, though the ex-slaves weren’t necessarily accepted as people until about 100 years after that.
And going through saving a nation’s population like that would probably end in loads of bureaucracy and doom for all who would otherwise be saved. Germany, for much of its existence, has made it difficult for foreigners to migrate there and their descendants would be judged as foreigners, even though they have lived in Germany for centuries. Germany is still a semi-authoritarian country today and is worse of a bureaucratic sh*thole than the US is.
What you should both keep in mind is that Equestria was founded as a nation of immigrants, so there really is no true “Equestrian” people, save the indigenous buffalo population, which is dwindling because of outbreeding with the ponies. The vast, vast majority of Equestrian citizens have some kind of story dealing with immigrant ancestors who migrated here and established their own lives. We still see ourselves as Equestrians first and immigrant descendants second, considering we all have a common culture and national identity. I, personally, am proud to be the great grandson, possibly even double great grandson, of a family who immigrated to here from Hope Hollow during the Great Famine. Sure, there were the “No Hope Hollowish Need Apply” signs up everywhere, but they overcame segregation and we all are now proud to be viewed as equals today, not foreigners.
On the other side of the Luna Ocean, however, Ponyland and the other former USSK countries have historically had isolationist policies that protected their own citizens and “pure-blooded” Ponylandish descendants. If you were born and raised in Ponyland and your parents, grandparents, great grandparents, or even beyond came from outside the country, you would be judged as a foreigner in your own country, especially if you were born as an Earth pony. This idea of racism was one of the ideals that ultimately fueled the breakup of the USSK, with Ponyland and their PM, Little Supreme Ruler, to this day wanting to annex parts of the Ice Kingdom and Yakyakistan in a partial return to the USSK era.
You can move to Equestria and become an Equestrian, but you can’t move to Ponyland and become a Ponylander.
>>279782 Well said. The left is trying to bring the USSK ideas of separation by race to our borders and we need to defend against it. However, there are rumors that the right is only fueling violence and creating a cause that could give secessionists and rioters legitimacy.
I personally hope that this coming election ends in a tie. Whichever party wins the tie-breaking vote will know that the PM they appoint will not have won over a democratic vote. This will mean that the PM’s legitimacy as a political leader will decrease in the minds of his constituents and that he will seriously need to consider the bills that Parliament passes.
>>279782 What is a nation? a nation is a people, these people have one thing in common across the entirety of their territory, call it blood, call it DNA, call it genetic similarity, that people are ONE kind of human, when you mix others, in this case non-whites you also bring ANOTHER NATION IN, combining these doesn't continue either, it destroys both. So in America this is White European Nordic Peoples, yes even Brits, at least were, Nordic at that time. THIS WAS NEVER A NATION OF IMMIGRANTS THAT IS PURE JEWISH PROPAGANDA IT WAS ALWAYS A EUROPEAN NATION AND MOST OF THE PEOPLE WHO EXIST IN THE NON SPIC WHITE PORTION OF THIS NATION TODAY, ARE DESCENDED FROM THOSE WHO LIVED HERE IN 1776. There will be no bureaucracy to kill these invaders, they will be dealt with, with lethal force, with no exception, including the niggers you so love because they never were people or did the 20000 rapes they commit every year against Whites in return for 0 rapes committed by Whites against them escape your fucking notice? >>279786 Violent separation by race is the only way this is ever turned around, you are a failure if you think otherwise.
>>279792 >combining these doesn't continue either, it destroys both. But don’t most non-Equestrians who arrive here integrate themselves well? Like the USA, we’re more of a “melting pot”, where people are encouraged to learn about other cultures and values, but the countries of the Ponylandish Peninsula, like Canada and European countries, seem to be more like “mosaics”, where outside nationalities don’t seem to be entirely welcomed by the locals, so their views and cultural norms aren’t necessarily accepted. >is the only way this is ever turned around You are drinking the leftists’ Cool-Aid here. Remember that our country was founded with unity of the races in mind.
>>279804 >But don’t most non-Equestrians who arrive here integrate themselves well? Like the USA, we’re more of a “melting pot”, where people are encouraged to learn about other cultures and values, but the countries of the Ponylandish Peninsula, like Canada and European countries, seem to be more like “mosaics”, where outside nationalities don’t seem to be entirely welcomed by the locals, so their views and cultural norms aren’t necessarily accepted. No they don't, Not when more than thirty percent speak the Mexican Bastardized Dialect of Spanish at home and everywhere else. The USA was NOT a Melting pot until after 1965. that is an entirely Jewish invention I believe it was Israel Zangwill, when america was nearly 100% White and European and less than 1% jew. Knowing and learning about others does not mean ours should be destroyed which is what has been happening, on an accelerated path since 1965, and truly since 1865. >You are drinking the leftists’ Cool-Aid here. Remember that our country was founded with unity of the races in mind.
No I'm not, and no it wasn't, Go back and look at the Immigration Act of 1789.
>>279808 >Not when more than thirty percent speak the Mexican Bastardized Dialect of Spanish at home and everywhere else. Keep in mind that these same places are either historically Spanish-speaking regions themselves or home to many Puerto Ricans, who are US citizens themselves. >Immigration Act of 1789 As far as I can tell, it is currently the year AR 1010 in Equestria. Are you referring to the act passed in the USA? Although the unicorn nation benefitted the most from the deal with the other two tribes, the unity of the races is one of the founding principles which Equestria’s very existence promotes. If I am correct in assuming you’re referring to the act passed in the US, the act you are referring to was passed during a time when America’s founding fathers were in a dispute about which races mattered and whether or not the notion of slavery should be a thing, but it took everyone a while to realize that racism and slavery were bad ideas.
>>279820 >Keep in mind No those places aren't what I am referring to is the continental U.S none of which historically spoke Spanish once they became U.S territory. >America’s founding fathers were in a dispute about which races mattered and whether or not the notion of slavery should be a thing, but it took everyone a while to realize that racism and slavery were bad ideas. they were never in dispute, eg Thomas Jefferson and many of the others wrote and agreed to including that line in 1789. Equestria doesn't factor in to this discussion at the moment we are discussing the human world as you put it, where things do not work as they may in ponyland.
>>279823 >what I am referring to is the continental U.S none of which historically spoke Spanish once they became U.S territory. And I know the regions you are referring to as well, which I believe are Florida, the Southwest, and the New York metro area. But how can you erase history truly? Florida and the Southwest were both part of Spain at one point, so you can’t say they weren’t historically Spanish-speaking. And yes, I know that New York has only relatively recently become Spanish-speaking, with many “boricuas” moving to there (and to Florida) since the 1940’s. >no dispute Many asked Thomas Jefferson to amend the US constitution to allow for either a gradual emancipation of slaves or to allow masters to free their slaves, but he, being one of the founding members of what eventually became the Democratic Party, refused. >Equestria doesn't factor in to this discussion at the moment But how is it wrong to compare how our country and their country were founded? >where things do not work as they may in ponyland. Только в основном так.
>>280072 So that brings up an interesting question: it’s been mentioned in this thread that the Earth ponies spoke the Ponish language prior to the unicorn migration from Ponyland. Said migration brought Ponylandish influence on the language and gave us the English language we know today. Но все могло сложиться иначе. Modern Ponish, as far as I can tell, is a minority language here, but is still official for ceremonial purposes. Aber ich mag die Sprache trotzdem.
My question is what language did the Pegasus tribe speak? Or is this a bit of obscure history that no one really knows?
>>280159 Here, but this could be fake news for a variety of reasons. Number one, the title looks like it’s in Ponylandish, though it looks like it uses a mixture of both Latin and Cyrillic alphabets, when Ponylandish is usually written in either one or the other... Но я не уверен, понимаю ли я название. Есть ли в этой ветке носители пониландского языка? Second, if it’s from Ponyland, is it by default questionable? Без обид.
>>280213 It’d be pretty difficult to pap her if she blends in that well with her subjects, so either this is fake or somepony got close enough to definitively figure out it was her from looking at her cutie mark.
Though there are still rumors that she lurks in this thread, perhaps disguised as one of the Anons here.
>>280228 Yeah, I'm with you on the picture situation. During all the time I lived in Ponyville, I only remember seeing her a grand total of four times that I actually remember. Also, about the rumors, I'm starting to doubt them. Wouldn't it be ironic though if that brainlet that refuses to acknowledge the lore was actually her, the princess known for being a complete and total nerd about that sort of stuff?
>>280230 >I only remember seeing her a grand total of four times that I actually remember. So I take it you saw her at Summer Sun Celebrations and other events there, so that would explain the low number... but what if you saw her more and no one knew it was her? >Wouldn't it be ironic though if that brainlet that refuses to acknowledge the lore was actually her You mean the one who supports King Sombra and rooted for Hitler? I would be surprised myself and would probably want to get on the first flight out of here, or at least vote for a candidate who will question her every move and constantly keep her executive power in check. The dame isn’t even 30 years old!
>>280233 How are they incomparable? They both subjugated their populations, threw dissidents and undesirables into concentration camps, and forced their populations to bow to their wishes through military action.
Though to be fair, Sombra actually DID get the thousand-year Reich that Hitler could only dream of.
>>280233 But the Princess is clearly anti-Sombra, considering she has significant support and loyalty from the people of the Crystal Empire today. If she saw what Hitler was about, she would be against him as well and compare him to Sombra, at least if he ruled for that long.
>>280397 i've lost track of what metaphor's saying what, but are we all in agreement that it's the people of a nation who make it great, not the jews or magic dirt? The culture of a people are what they decide to wear, how they decide to act and sound and treat others, etc. A nigger can go to japan, buy a katana, try learning the language, even work for a sushi store but he'll never truly become Japanese.
>>280434 Yes. It doesn’t matter whether you’re Jewish, Ponylandish Orthodox, or whatever faith you are and it doesn’t matter what culture or class you’re from either. Some Anon ITT said that you can move to Equestria and become an Equestrian, but you can’t move to Ponyland and become a Ponylander.
>>280534 You may have a disfiguration lawsuit on your hands if she doesn’t have your consent, though I’d, for one, welcome our new human waifus.
But speaking of which, I feel like I’d need to make sure I have enough magic to do such thing and it takes me a while to perform complex tasks such as that. Someone else has already asked for tips on that, but does anyone else have something to offer?
Here’s another thing that humans have: complete security in the fact that they pay their subway fares. If a human wanted to get on a train, he’d have to swipe his MetroCard and pass through fare gates.
A pony, on the other hand, would be able to teleport onto the train without paying the fare, though he could be picked up by surveillance cameras, though they don’t stop ponies from teleporting others onto trains from afar, though some, and I do mean SOME, carriages have cameras in them.
The Union Party is trying to push anti-horn legislation, though their nominee for PM, Joe Bridle, doesn’t seem as anti-horn as the other nominees could be. I’m personally glad that Bernie Saddlers didn’t become the nominee, otherwise he could bring back the USSK era. I’m worried, however, that magic use in Equestria could become restricted to the point where it becomes useless. Does anyone else here share my sentiments?
>>281018 Well, we had a Nationalist Party-controlled House of Commons, House of Lords, and PM just four years ago, yet no horn use restrictions were lifted as far as I could tell. We still have to have our horns disabled on airplanes and we still have to abide by the restrictions the Union Party put into place before the Nationalists took control. I personally haven’t had to use an oxygen mask on an airplane, but what happens if the masks deploy and I can’t use my magic to reach them? It’s not like they say to help unicorn, alicorn, and kirin passengers whose magic is disabled.
>>281046 Or... what if Peach is just a peach and is using her magic to disguise herself as a human? Remember when she turned into an actual peach during the “Super Paper Mario” arc?
And this sounds like that “Rarity” fellow you said you dreamt of. If Princesses Peach and Daisy visited Equestria and it turned out Queen Rarity was a real person, how would they all get along? How would they go about avoiding putting marshmallows in their cocoa, tea, or whatever? And how would they all get along with Princess Twilight?
>>281023 >politically neutral Princess Twilight sided with the Nationalists on pretty much every issue so far, but some of the Unionists want even more to be done. How would you like it if Equestria had a completely open border rather than the passport checks that Princess Twilight and the Nationalists put into place? What Princess Twilight has done will only spell the end of the Union Party governing our cities... and I doubt she would ever accept a Unionist PM, even if Joe Bridle is voted in. Though I suppose the two could talk it out, since Bridle is “your grandpa’s Unionist” after all. >>281054 I’d say good for them. Rarity and Peach could discuss ways as to how to avoid humans eating us while still making friends with them.
>>281056 True, but you should keep in mind that this will be the first general election that will have taken place following her coronation. Though I do understand what you’re saying... and we may have a big scandal about her and MP’s on both sides of the aisle may have something to say. But I just have a gut feeling that the Nationalists will be more inclined to support her, though not pay blind allegiance, and the Unionists will oppose her no matter what she says.
>>281056 >What Princess Twilight has done will only spell the end of the Union Party governing our cities I’d say good luck winning Whinnyapolis. That area has voted Unionist consistently for the longest straight time period on record. Not even in 974, when then-PM Ronald Rein-In won by a thumping majority, did Whinnyapolis vote Nationalist.
>>279770 Maybe the states and cities run by the Democratic Party would discriminate.
And speaking of which, why don’t the writers do more to portray them as the bad guys? They were portrayed as such until just after the Civil Rights Movement and Nixongate arcs, but they aren’t receiving such evil portrayal now.
Though to be fair, JFK, LBJ, and possibly even Biden, were so far portrayed as heroes and possibly the best examples of Democrats there are.
>>281512 Well, we haven’t seen her come out yet, but I’d imagine her being the type to not come out on this sort of thing. Isn’t she rather shy?
Oh, and aren’t “Rarity”, “Fluttershy”, and “Pinkie Pie” all in her friendship journal? Perhaps they really are her friends. It would make sense for her to be friends with the Queen of Marshmallia, but who are the other two and what do they do?
>>281924 Well, the elections in the Ice Kingdom seem to not be going well, considering that their current PM wanted to hold onto power like he did and deploy his military against dissidents. He agreed to the election and he agreed that he could be unseated, so why did he not agree with the result if it clearly indicated he should be unseated?
Though the humans have that in the US as well, but Trump or Biden would do so in a more comedic fashion.
Sitrep update: I just had a dream where “Fluttershy”, “Pinkie Pie”, “Rarity”, and human Princess Twilight all caressed me and tried to make me feel loved during a state of depression.
I turned “Rarity” into her pony form (with her consent), then she sucked me off, with the magic imbued in the result having turned her into an alicorn.
But while I had these gorgeous humans to myself, a crowd of people outside my house saw me with “Fluttershy” and it made me feel that everyone else felt jealous and upset. But then my (male pony) friend told me that they all thought that she wanted to eat me.
Today the Equestrian empire will conquer other worlds, one of the most dangerous universes that exists is the one we formerly called Terra, there lives an extremely dangerous species that we call Homo Sapiens which must be extinguished and we seek allies from that world to make Equestria great again . Will you join us Anon?
>>284772 That’s just a stupid theory. Where is the evidence that humans have ever settled in Equestria? And besides... >>284791 If this “Fluttershy” character exists, not all humans are out there to eat us. We need to seek out the kindness in them and maybe even expect something from them in return. Who wouldn’t want to have their manes stroked, bellies rubbed, wings preened, and magic refilled all in one sitting?
>>284995 Every time I hear that question I want to fire up my grill, and take notes from Hank Hill. Propane, and Propane accessories. Whether or not they eat pony, my neighbor's apple tree farm could always use some more nutrients. I'm sure the park could do with some sprucing up too.
>>285039 So what would you do if a human tried to eat you or mess with the plants in your hometown’s municipal parks? What would the police do (if Deputy PM candidate Kamala Hackamore doesn’t succeed in defunding them)?
>>286426 Why? Wouldn’t you want there to be a universe where humans all love us and want to welcome us to their society? As someone else here might have put it, what if there were an alternate universe where ponies were the “cute” and “f*ckable” animals as we view humans?
I don't really get what they are trying to do with France. I mean I get it "muslims bad" but they are looping through the same few pages of the script. Anyway if they continue this shitty writing (and Trump doesn't win) I'll stop watching this shit. >>286428 I'd love to befriend Anon!
>>286569 Why are you saying that? The writers are so far doing an excellent job with the election arc. I’m laughing my a** off so much that my one humie friend thinks I’ll accidentally blast magic into the ceiling.
>>287203 Well, it seems as though we’ve already gotten that. The question now becomes whether Trump can win the election.
And I have to say the writers have massively improved since the past season. This may only draw more viewership towards the show. If Princess Twilight is truly a nerd like we’ve seen, would this draw her to it?
Aren’t humans basically the perfect cuddle animals? I mean, their breasts provide a nice pillow for when you’re being hugged and kissed by them. Plus, you can easily obtain milk if need be while still being cuddled.
>>287364 You’re telling me. By the way, she looks just like “Fluttershy” and I am growing more and more convinced that she is real and she is really a pony that appears sometimes as a human in some Anon’s dreams.
So just who is Fluttershy? A war hero? A political activist? An animal lover? Would she love ponies and/or humans?
Bottom line, I agree with you wholeheartedly. Humans make the perfect snuggle animals and it may all be thanks to their breasts.
>>288668 The Marauder's Map was invented by Harry's dad and his friends, Padfoot, Prongs, Wormtail, and Loony or whatever the werewolf was called. Fred and George inherited the map before giving it to Harry Potter This map can detect people under the legendary invisibility cloak that hid its wearer from death himself This map can see a person's true name, even if he's under Polyjuice so why didn't it detect that guy under Polyjuice in Goblet Of Fire who was part of Voldemort's resurrection plan? Also, considering how long Fred/George/Harry spent with this map, why did nobody look at Ron's location and then wonder "Wait, who's Peter Pettigrew and why is he always so close to Ron?" Scabbers, Ron's pet rat, is Peter Pettigrew in animagus form. The map displays this but nobody notices because plot convenience. If fiction creates a new reality, I'd never want to live in a nonsense realm full of plot holes.
>>288673 Especially with all of the fiction that goes on in the human world, right? I mean, stories about the Nazis having won? Stories about being subjugated to aliens? Stories about what could have happened in a nuclear holocaust?
So it looks like we’re ending up with PM Joe Bridle all because the contentious Ponyville South now has a Union MP and several Nationalist strongholds flipped. For once, Silver Shoals and Cloudsdale weren’t good predictors of this election.
So do you think the writers are just ragequitting this election arc because of this parallel or do you think there is something we don’t know about? I bought extra cases of extra butter popcorn and now it’s all worthless because I didn’t get the conflict I was hoping for.
>>290623 While I personally think Princess Twilight is a Nationalist, perhaps many Ponyville residents took her message out of context. Could she have accidentally been her own undoing?
Then again, Bridle said himself something like, “Look. Here’s the deal. I beat the socialist. Do I look like a radical socialist? Anyone making under $400,000 will not be taxed any more than they are.” I’m personally somewhat confident in PM-elect Bridle, though I doubt that his policy differs that much from Rump’s.
>>290916 I haven’t seen Season 2, but it was likely filled with cavemen learning how to make fire for the first time.
But anyway, Twilight Sparkle is a princess. It’s not like anypony has really ever heard of her until a few years ago and there is the argument that she isn’t a legitimate successor to the throne, so PM-elect Joe Bridle will probably have a lot more power than she could ever dream of. It’s like Princess Celestia is not only abandoning the throne, but also the monarchy in general.
By the way, where did you hear of her before she became a princess?
