Let me explain: Things as in situations escalate till they hit critical mass; The critical mass is the highest point a thing can escalate before stalling and inevitable going back down.
Now, to put a bullet in the head of a man for allegely ruining a show about ponies is not only unproductive but also way past the critical mass of the situation. At most this guy could lose all his audience and thus get demoted form his position as executive producer for failing miserably at his job, yet this is not going to happen because the whole objective of the show is to sell toys.
So what would be the correct approach to this problem, keeping in mind we are dealing with a magnum corporation?
